pjonze Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Ok, so thinking about series 5's Boxer - could any of these figures have a 2nd face? (I suppose they all could have, but would any really benefit from one?) Quote

(I suppose they all could have, but would any really benefit from one?) L'il red riding hood with the other side being shocked? Maybe the female viking & the stuntman & to a lesser extent the hippy Edited October 17, 2011 by escortmad79 Quote
WhiteFang Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 This keeps getting better and better! And, I could hardly breathe after seeing all of these! This is amazing and it will be epic when you combined all of the series together! So many "wants" minifigures. I just barely finish completing Series 5 collection for my own consumption and now we got Series 6 and 7 to worry about. Still, I totally welcome this new 32 minifigures! Quote
LandShark Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 I can see the boar on the shield, but I think it's more likely to be a dragon. Either way, I still want the figure. Quote
Blacktron Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 (edited) in regard to the space marines head, I'm gonna say it is an orange printing over the facial print, like this Exo-force I think you are right. The space marine is my favorite figure of this wave, but if this is really a faceprint and not a printed visor, then he's not a good army builder. I love the fact that he has a classic space logo on his shoulder and the Alien conquest gun looks cool in black. I think this new space helmet is a very intersting design. I wish we could see it from all angles. I'm looking forward to the first real review to get a better view of it. I would say, I hope we will see this helmet again in other colors, but first I'd like to know if it's possible to atach a visor or not. The rest of the wave is okay, but not great. I like the Aztec warrior, the computer nerd, the hippie and the black knight. For my taste, the rest is rather boring. I'm into the Space and Classic monster figures. So it is only 1-2 minifigures in every wave that really make me nervous to get them. Man, I wish I would be into sports... More Space and more classic Movie monsters please. Snowspeeder Pilot Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 As a Mexican, the Aztec Warrior is my favorite but why Gold Eagle Helmet and shield? Anyway this mini figure is a great addition for Ancient Warriors! Quote

UsernameMDM Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 I think you misunderstood Haltiamieli. I did! Quote
DaleDVM Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Wow wow wow... I will collect all of these as usual and they all look so good. TLG is making me crazy with all of these great designs! The new flower stem is great! So many great hairstyles. The basket and the red hood are pure win. Bagpipes and a new historic hat. The crown made out of shells is a nice touch. The space marine is going to be the figure in highest demand. Being the first true space warrior fig LEGO has ever made will make army builders go nutso... Unfortunately with his bulky accessories they won't likely put more than 3 in each case. Lucky for me I will be army building the historic figs. The female viking, mayan/aztec, and red riding hood will be bought in 5-10 quantities. I will need atleast 50 of the new knight. I just love the spiky look of his armor and shield. I agree that the logo appears to be a boar. Great to have a new faction with a brand new logo. Why he has red eyes is beyond me? Quote
Haltiamieli Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 Why he has red eyes is beyond me? Because he's evil? It makes the figure more menacing and unique. Quote
Inspecter Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 Ahh yes they finally did a bagpiper now all they need to do is Lederhosen man. Although I wonder why they didn't use that cloth piece that the bagpiper has with the highlander? Quote
LandShark Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 Ahh yes they finally did a bagpiper now all they need to do is Lederhosen man. Although I wonder why they didn't use that cloth piece that the bagpiper has with the highlander? I'm guessing it's because the highlander would be more used for battle-ing, so his legs would need to be more moveable. I personally like the printed kilt more. Quote
Mr.Cestus Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 Although there are some cool things in series 7, I am kind of disappointed, because there is no "really exciting" figure like the previous sets have had: Series 1: Zombie Series 2: Spartan Series 3: Elf (Woot!) Series 4: Musketeer/Hazmat guy Series 5: Gladiator/Dwarf (even though I know we've had other dwarves, I'm big on the fantasy theme) Series 6: Legionnaire/Minotaur/Highlander Series 7: ...... As I said, there are some kind of cool things, but not like the previous series have had in my opinion - no multi-buy figs. I feel the same way. The only minifigures I remotely care about this time are: "Space Marine": Even though I've never cared about space themes, and I loath Halo, I still love this guy. I guess that just goes to show how great he is. Dark Knight: I would have loved to see a new helmet with him. Due to the fact there isn't one, he seems a bit redundant when compared to other knights you could make. The printing and what looks to be a darker great sword helps though. Poseidon: He's great, but as a castle collector I don't see much use for him. Aztec: Same as Poseidon. Gold spear is cool. Female Viking: Ehh... Silver Gladius might be worth it. Overall, I think this is the weakest series yet. I'm looking forward to S6 far more. Quote
August11 Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 (edited) Space Man is super EPIC!!!! I'm so in love with that guy. This series looks amazing! I stopped buying the collectible minifigures after series 3. I am one of those ones, yup, who just thinks they don't feel like real Lego. But I gotta agree on this one: that freakin space marine is wicked freakin cool. Lego has no idea what lurks in the minds of Classic Space fans. It is like the Manchurian Candidate for crying out loud. I see that space marine and I know I must open up my wallet. I would buy battle packs of those dudes... Lego_Hero Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 I love reading from posts where someone says they don't buy these or they have completely different favorites than mine. The range of tastes on this forum is from one end of the spectrum to the other. Fantastic. It's like our own little united nations melting pot! Anyway, I'm not a big fan of the cloth grass skirt on the hula dancer or the skirt on the figure skater, but I like the way the kilt looks. If I were displaying the Highlander, I'd put the Bagpiper's kilt on him. However, I agree with the previous post: the Highlander probably doesn't have a cloth kilt because of the pose-ability factor. Sandy Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 now, I would say rhinoceros. eyars, horn, head... :) It's a boar. The "horn" is a curved tusk. Quote
