Quarryman Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 "Right, so back to the interection to take the last remaining path then."
Waterbrick Down Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 "Aye to the last path, straight on to whatever nefarious beast or villain it may lead to."
Masked Builder Posted November 19, 2011 Author Posted November 19, 2011 The party heads down the center path this time and comes to a thicket where some creatures are talking..... "Well we've managed to capture one of the accursed Centaurs. Now if only we can get some more." The green humanoid looks towards the party. "Oh how long have you been standing there? The Legonater Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Ooh, a throwing knife! How convienent! I think clear we need to take out this Grof person as soon as possible. If I may suggest, I think the mages should focus all their powers on this guy, where Skrall can attack Stav, and I'll go after the spider. I attack the Mechanical Spider from the front row with my whip.
Waterbrick Down Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 "Hold yer horses friend, we're here to collect on the gold, here are you are, one werewolf paw and one dementor cowl. The rest of the beasts are back at our camp." Skrall spots the centaur and gives a low whistle. "Well, well, ya caught a centaur, lookie there, how long it take you ta catch 'er, she'll make a fine prize for sure." Skrall shows the bandits the note the Party found earlier, hoping to avoid the conflict. Whispering off to the side he calms Dyric, "Hold yer weapon mate, let's see if we can work this out sensible like first." Turning back to the other party, Skrall addresses them, "Don't mind the rogue he's just practicin' his whip technique, and sure did we need 'em. Why if it weren't for that whip, we'd be manticore food by now."
The Legonater Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Turning back to the other party, Skrall addresses them, "Don't mind the rogue he's just practicin' his whip technique, and sure did we need 'em. Why if it weren't for that whip, we'd be manticore food by now." It's true. I may be starring in a play coming soon, about some loveable rogue with a whip. That's the description I heard. I whisper to Skrall Are you sure we're not fighting? It seemed the QM made that clear. Hey look, a shattered fourth wall!
Waterbrick Down Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Skrall whispers to Dyric, "I may not be a knight my dear rogue, but this is where a sharp tongue and a quick mind may win us more than a hastily drawn weapon. If we must fight we shall, but I wish to employ a little more tact, rather than plunging head in like some fool hardy barbarian."
The Legonater Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Skrall whispers to Dyric, "I may not be a knight my dear rogue, but this is where a sharp tongue and a quick mind may win us more than a hastily drawn weapon. If we must fight we shall, but I wish to employ a little more tact, rather than plunging head in like some fool hardy barbarian." Ah, I see. Tact away.
Quarryman Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 (whispering) "Well, I hope the tact thing works, but just in case it doesn't I'll prepare to cast a Darkness spell at Grof from the Back row"
Masked Builder Posted November 19, 2011 Author Posted November 19, 2011 Skrall shows the bandits the note the Party found earlier, hoping to avoid the conflict. "Ah I see you found the note we were given. It's too bad you found that, we'll just have to avenge Jorge now."
Quarryman Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 "Okay, it seems we have to fight. Surprise, surprise. Guess I'll just carefully place myself in the Back Row and cast that spell I prepared earlier then."
K-Nut Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Althior shakes violently, he steps back, looking at the horrified centaur. He realizes that he can't let her die for personal reasons. He marches to the front row, against his current beliefs, and hurls a darkness spell at Grof. His mind flashes back with visions of pain and suffer, but he doesn't know what they are.
The Legonater Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 I too continue my earlier action, attacking the Mechanical Spider from the front row with my whip.
Bioniclover Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 (edited) Ooc: Dammit. Sorry guys, it seems my IDIOT BROTHER was using my iPad. I apologize for all the times he's screwed up on here, and for my own carelessness. I'll make sure it doesn't happen again... I guess this is what happens when you leave an iPad lying around where an 18 year old with the mind of a 13 year old can get at it. Edited November 19, 2011 by Bioniclover

Ooc: You know BL, there's a reason it says "stay signed in isn't recommended for shared computers. IC: Arasmythcasts wind on Grof from the back row.
Waterbrick Down Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 (edited) "Well then my good fellows, you're quite the blood thirsty lot. Right then, mages in the back throwin' the spells, Dyric take that spider out. I'll deal with that axe totin' fella. Althior, might I suggest using your nostrum, as we need to take out that swordsman post haste." With that Skrall loads a bolt into his crossbow and targets Stav (Axe) from the Back Row. He sighs to himself, "I'm gettin' to old for this, why is it that every soddin' thug we meet out here wants to draw blood at the first sight of us?" Kadabra Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 Arasmyth glares at the laughing Grof before taking a step to the back row and casting wind at his insulter again.
Waterbrick Down Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 "We need to take that swordsman out, mages, spells from the back row, Dyric see if you can land a hit on him with your chain. We'll take care of the other two later." Skrall loads another bolt and targets Grof (Sword) from the back row. Battle Order: Althior Namyrra Skrall Bob Arasmyth Dyric OOC: I'm curious what would happen if Namyrra put Gorf to sleep with her wand or if I chose to use a smoke bomb right now?
Masked Builder Posted November 20, 2011 Author Posted November 20, 2011 OOC: I'm curious what would happen if Namyrra put Gorf to sleep with her wand or if I chose to use a smoke bomb right now? QM Note: You ask the hardest questions. I would say he wouldn't be able to kill the centaur, if you put him to sleep. And if you use a smoke bomb you just flee the battle failing the quest.
The Legonater Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 Right. I steady myself, and attack Grof from the front row with the chain whip.
Waterbrick Down Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 "Namyrra, what are your thoughts on this, if we should put the villian to sleep, we may buy ourselves some extra time, however should your strike miss he may kill the centaur."
Quarryman Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 "Namyrra, what are your thoughts on this, if we should put the villian to sleep, we may buy ourselves some extra time, however should your strike miss he may kill the centaur." "I don't think putting him to sleep would help, the next attack against him would just wake him up and we'd actually be worse off due to me not giving him a Hell of a lot of pain from a Darkness spell. I agree with giving Stav and the spider free hits to make it more likely to take out Grof though, he's our biggest worry." Namyrra carefully focuses to become one with the the Darkness in her Amethyst gem to cast another Darkness spell at Grof from the Back row. (OOC: and dear QM, please have the decency to assume that Bob will cast a spell at Grof if Sirius Black doesn't post in time. )
Sirius Black Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 Bob will cast a fire spell at Grof from the back row.
