Jebediahs Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 "Huh, looks like this thing can rotate..." En Sabah Nur attempts to turn the white statue.
Sandy Posted November 1, 2011 Author Posted November 1, 2011 "Look at that! Well, I want to have a look in that telescope! It might be the only chance I get to use one of these!" Maurice takes a look into the telescope, and suddenly all the stars seem to be within his grasp! The cleric can hardly take his eyes out of the view to pass the turn to his comrades. "Huh, looks like this thing can rotate..." En Sabah Nur attempts to turn the white statue. Even though it looks like it could turn, the heavy stone statue does not budge an inch.
Jebediahs Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 "Hmph. Nothing." En Sabah Nur walks across the room to the long bearded statue. "Looks just like you, Bohring...Ratibor, what do you see in that thing?"
Etzel Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 Ratibor, what do you see in that thing?" "Oh, it's beautiful! Absolutely amazing! Oh, sorry Erdathcath, you also wanted a look?" Maurice leaves the telescope and go to examine the things next to the white statue.
Bricksandparts Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 "I, Meteor blade must be here. Somewhere... Do you think that those statues have meteor blade?"
Sandy Posted November 1, 2011 Author Posted November 1, 2011 "Oh, it's beautiful! Absolutely amazing! Oh, sorry Erdathcath, you also wanted a look?" Maurice leaves the telescope and go to examine the things next to the white statue. Maurice finds notes of stars and planets, some measuring devices and a little chalkboard. Nothing of interest, and certainly nothing blade-like. "I, Meteor blade must be here. Somewhere... Do you think that those statues have meteor blade?" The statues don't appear to be carrying anything. But the ghost of Bohring the Enlightened said Meteor Blade was hidden there at the Observatory. Where could it be...?
Etzel Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 "That red thing on top of the telescope, what is that?"
The_Customizer Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 "That red thing on top of the telescope, what is that?" I agree, I think that is the Meteor Blade! Also, is there anything on the ceiling?
Sandy Posted November 1, 2011 Author Posted November 1, 2011 "That red thing on top of the telescope, what is that?" The_Customizer Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 So, they really do move! Let's prepare for battle! If anyone has bombs, use them. We'll need them. OOC:And technically, if we use an Ice Bomb all the statues would freeze, right?
Etzel Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 "It's time for Jensen to shine again, attack the Bohring Statue from the front row. I will do useless swing at Antiphone from the front row. The_Customizer Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 I shall attack the Enchanted Statue of Gilligan, from the Back Row.
Jebediahs Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 "I'll get that Focker! Water spell from the back row on Enchanted Statue of Focker." There was no time to doubt himself. The mage needed the gem to work immediately.
Bricksandparts Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 Alf will attack Antiphone from the front row! "Jenson, Go!" "Maybe Alf should attack Jenson's opponent too? That way we get rid of one guy." I guess Alf will attack Bohring instead from the front row.

Jensen starts strong again, dealing 26 damage to the enchanted statue of Bohring with his critical hit. Alf goes into a Frenzy, causes 10 damage to each of the statues. En Sabah Nur's watery spell connects with Provost Focker's statue, causing a smashing 30 damage to it since the rock-type enemy is weak to water. Erdathcath hits her target as well, razing 10 health from it with her arrow. Maurice also hits a statue for 10 damage, resulting in a round of applause from his battling companions. All four enemies still remain, so the battle goes on. Erdathcath hits Gilligan's Statue again, causing 10 damage. The enchanted statue of Focker tries to turn Maurice into a statue as well, but the cleric's inner resistance towards negative effects prevents that. The statue self-destructs, in any case. Nur casts a water-spell on the same statue, causing 30 damage and thus removing it from the combat. Alf gains an extra effective hit on the statue of the leprechaun provost Gilligan, dealing 16 damage. This takes the remaining statue out of the equation. THE BATTLE IS VICTORIOUS!
