Thanks Cam!

Sadly it's only a thin veneer, one brick deep at the moment.

But if you take a look at my Flickr pages you can see a Lego rendition of the underground platforms with a tube train departing.

WWII time period? That's when that poster was used, right?

I can't comment on the authenticity as I've never been to London, but I like the clean lines of the build. The upside-down fences are a nice touch.

Very well spotted Steph!

Indeed this scene is set during the second world war, but as the poster was never used publicly you get bonus points for observation.

Totally AWESOME 'AJW' , the detail even beats my work to a punch.....is there an interior ?

Plus are you planning a pub and a Woolworth store....now that would be mind blowing.....some Anderson shelters too !

Keep going and Brick On 'AJW' ! (footnote - excellent custom Air-raid Warden  )

This is great!

You've really managed to faithfully recreate this particular tube station, especially the iconic architecture, and it looks fabulous. I've seen so many WW2 scenes like this in museums, but it's especially nice to see one in LEGO. The picture in your signature intrigued me, and I found a whole treasure trove of wonderful tube-related constructions on your flickr stream, including some that remind me of my own local tube station.

Beautiful work, thank you for sharing. :sweet:

Thanks for your kind words Pandora!

What's the name of your local tube station. Is it a design classic?

Thanks HighFlyer!

It certainly is one of the more charismatic stations on the network isn't it?
