October 21, 201113 yr This is great contest! I can't wait to start on my idea (which has nothing to do with what I'm about to say ). The Penguin how are you liking Arkham City, I think it's awesome .
October 21, 201113 yr So little time. So many awesome challenges to enter. Though I'm scared go against lego-maniac
October 21, 201113 yr woot woot! I can't wait to get started, Fresh out of Arkham City I'm definitely in the Batman mood! To bad we have to use official characters though, I really thought a Mad Hatter home scene would be cool I can probably make something cool for one of the two villains I have though! I have no idea what to make for my 32x32 though
October 21, 201113 yr Fantastic comp. I'm looking forward to seeing all the MOC's... I bought my first LBM minifig last week, maybe i need to enter my first comp...
October 21, 201113 yr Can the scene we make be from a crossover? And can I use a Batman keychain instead of the minifig? Please, specify. Batman has had many crossover stories. Though, I don't think that mixing Batman and say, Spiderman will be such a good idea. Yes, you may use a keychain, just make sure it fits properly in the scene. To bad we have to use official characters though, I really thought a Mad Hatter home scene would be cool Yes, mad hatter has never been made by LEGO (at least not in a non-digital form). However I guess since in Long Halloween he worked with Scarecrow closely and shared the same place ( ), you can easilly make it as a part of the Scarecrow's hideout. However I'm pretty sure you'll come up with your own unique idea! Good day, ladies and gentlemen! ) Edited October 21, 201113 yr by The Penguin
October 21, 201113 yr Though I'm scared go against lego-maniac you do not need to ! Do not work under pressure, moc for fun, sure there's more worthy opponement here !
October 21, 201113 yr Ok I'll try to make something new. Btw this moc has already been dismenteled I got mixed feelings from this one... on one hand I truly feel bad for you (if only you had not posted that one yet), on the other hand it's a bit of a relief because... man, that scene is epic! If this had been an entry in the comp I think the staff could have called it a day right away!

October 21, 201113 yr I meant something like Superman and Batman: Public Enemies or Crisis. As long as it stays Gotham-oriented in category 1 and oficial heroes-oriented in category 2, it'll be great! Good day, ladies and gentlemen!
October 22, 201113 yr I've completed my Catagory 2 entry, but I'm not sure whether to post it yet. I could wait, to see I find anyway to improve it. But I have a feeling lots of other people will do an entry like this, and I don't want to seem like I'm copying people.

October 22, 201113 yr Erm, Hi, sorta new to Eurobricks, by new, I mean I just lurk, and I'd like to take part in said contest, but where..heh I feel sorta silly for asking, where do I post said contest entry?
October 22, 201113 yr Is it legal to write short comments to each of the eight possible pictures of the MOC? Like, "Look's like the GCPD is in trouble here! But what's over there?" or "Black Mask's impatience with a henchman who screwed up a job is no secret. This poor fellow will have to pay and he knows it..."? Great contest, btw, very generous prizes, thanks for that! This will hopefully motivate quite a lot of entries, and I love to see Batman MOCs. I'm one of those lucky AFOLs, that managed to get the Batman Sets before the prices skyrocketed out of the atmosphere, but still another set of my favourite theme would be great (not that I hope to score anywhere near the top, but I'll take a shot nonetheless for the sheer fun of a Batman contest). That's enough to haul me back out of my building hiatus!

You post it here, in this forum. Entry is to be posted in individual topic, titled "CAT 1(2): Insert Title of your entry", title description below "Eurobricks Batman Contest Category 1(2)". I'm looking forward to your entry! Is it legal to write short comments to each of the eight possible pictures of the MOC? Like, "Look's like the GCPD is in trouble here! Just make sure everyone gets the idea and enjoy the story, you're telling. Looking forward to it! Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )

October 23, 201113 yr This looks like a great contest- it's brought me right out of my builder's block. :) I can't wait to see what everyone else makes- I love me some Batman.
October 23, 201113 yr Greetings gentleman Penguin, Thank you for holding this wonderful contest. I just have some ideas in mind for Category 1 entry, but before I start building, I would like to ask a few questions. I am not quite familiar with Batman's comics and cartoon, so for the "scene from the LEGO Batman Universe", does it necessarily have to be media-related, or we simply create a new story new scene but with known character ? (If yes, I guess I have to do more research, more comics !) Also for the "fitted right here in Gotham City", are we supposed to make City view (like lego-maniac's creation), or street view ? Can we make indoors scene like Gotham Bank etc. ? Thank you very much and good night !
October 23, 201113 yr Can we do multiverse versions of certain characters? Well, it's not forbidden by rules. But mind that very few around here (even some Bat-fans) know much about multiverse concept and thus will get the story. Most people got used to good old, classical approach Batman. Good day to you! 1) Your svene is not obliged to be from a particular comic or cartoon, or film, etc. Just tell the story as you see it, so that the whole community can enjoy it! 2) Anything you like. Outdoors, indoors, overview. ) Just make the scene that may fit into an old rusty megapolis such as Gotham. Knowing how talented you and other members around here are, I can't wait to see your entries, people! ) Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
October 23, 201113 yr To all the people that are complaining about not having any Batfigs: Just look at MOCs such as Ninja Nin's Tribute to the Legendary Master. It's perfectly possible to make a Batman-related scene without any official figs. Besides, if we get lucky, the new sets might start showing up in stores before the contest is over. By the way, does our entry have to be minifig-scale?
October 24, 201113 yr I just thought of three questions: 1. Can we enter both categories or can we just choose one? 2. For the second category can I make a home for a custom figure I made out of official parts or just ones from the Batman line? 3. Can I use figures that I made in the first category like random goons that I made?

Moreover, it may not be very modest of me, but if you look at some of my custom figs (purist ones), you'll see that they can be made without any Batman parts at all. ) I just thought of three questions: 1. Can I use figures that I made in the first category like random goons that I made? 1) You can enter both categories, but not more than one MOC per person per category. 2) I'm afraid you'll have to make home for official figures here. Custom figs will be more than welcome in category 1. 3) Yes, you may. Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
October 24, 201113 yr Indeed so. Moreover, it may not be very modest of me, but if you look at some of my custom figs (purist ones), you'll see that they can be made without any Batman parts at all. Very good point. So how about my question about the scale?
October 24, 201113 yr Very good point. So how about my question about the scale? Oh, I'm sorry, Oky! ) Yes, it has to be a minifig scaled MOC, since we're using LEGO Batman line as a basis and sourse of inspiration. Taking into accoun your wonderful MOCs, here, in Licensed Forum, it should be of no difficulty to you! Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
October 24, 201113 yr One more question came to my mind - for the 1st category, does the vig have to be 32 by 32 studs or is it allowed to be smaller and 32 x 32 are the maximum dimensions?
