Tarn attempting to make ground on the archer of the group, is to late to stop him from delivering a multitude of quarrel shots upon the party, seriously injuring Ratabor and Elgar and annoyingly pricking the other members. William nocks and arrow to his bow string, but is overcome by the rushing sword swinging werewolf who violently knocks the ranger aside stunning him as he seeks to finish off the wounded Elgar. Elgar spying the oncoming villain lets loose a tremendous shot at point blank range significantly wounding the beast making him retreat to his own lines. Atramor, with new dagger in hand easily penetrates the axe toting werewolf's defenses giving him a bloody slice across his face. Rumble Strike Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 Snarling in equal measures of pain and frustration, Tarn attacks the Werewolf Thug (Crossbow) from the front row again.
Jedi master Brick Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 Any way our cleric friend should heal himself before he goes down and Will aren't you stunned. OOC: It shows I got the SD, if so I need help healing wise

Elgar Gligin Ratabor Mossycloak Tarn Valco William Harkenshire Atramor Gibbin Sir Glorfindel Ratabor attemps to heal himself, while Atramor takes another stab at the Werewolf Swordsman from the front row.
Waterbrick Down Posted October 31, 2011 Author Posted October 31, 2011 (edited) Results of Round Two of the Battle of the Weeping Cleric: >Elgar Gligin uses Potion >Ratabor Mossycloak vs. Ratabor Mossycloak - More Heal >Tarn Valco vs. Werewolf Thug (Crossbow) - Shield >William Harkenshire - Stunned >Atramor Gibbin vs. Werewolf Thug (Sword switched to Crossbow) - Damage >Sir Glorfindel vs. Werewolf Thug (Axe switched to Crossbow) - Special Damage Elgar steps back to refresh himself from his potion, while Ratabor also takes the time to heal himself to full health. Tarn once again goes into a battle frenzy cleaving down the sword bearing werewolf, chopping the axeman and his weapon to splinters and bringing the crossbowman within an inch of his life. William stands up recovering from his stunning and prepares to return to the battle at hand. The werewolf archer determining not to go down without a fight sinks another bolt into Atramor and while Glorfindel attempts to bring him down, unleashes another multitude of quarrels at the party dealing damage to everyone. The battle continues with one enemy remaing! Note: Since some of the party is rather low on health, I will not automatically play this next round, unless the Party Leader wishes me to. CMP Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 Atramor pulls another pair of arrows from his stomach, spitting out a glob of blood at the Werewolf. He quickly chugs his potion, and then attacks it from the front row. Ratabor turns to William, and attempts to heal him. "If you're worried about your life, stick to the back," he adds. >Ratabor Mossycloak >Atramor Gibbin >Tarn Valco >Elgar Gligin >William Harkenshire >Sir Glorfindel
Rumble Strike Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 "I'll take this thug down too, don't worry!" shouted Tarn to the party after he had taken down two enemies in a frenzy of whirling axes. Tarn will once again attack Werewolf Thug (Crossbow) from the front row.
soccerkid6 Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 I launch myself forward in another attack on werewolf thug (crossbow) from the front line.
Fred Daniel Yam Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 I shoot Werewolf Thug Crossbow from the back row
Waterbrick Down Posted November 1, 2011 Author Posted November 1, 2011 (edited) QM Note: Since Jedi master Brick is not in probable danger of being knocked out this round, I am going to commence with the next round of battle. Atramor quickly drains the potion in his dagger's hilt refreshing him for the final strike as he finishes off the crossbowman. THE BATTLE IS VICTORIOUS! All Players gain 1 level of experience. "Incredible, simply incredible!" The somber cleric approaches the party, "gentle sirs, you have opened my eyes to what my gift may really be used for. If you'll pardon me, I'm going to go stew on this turn of events over a nice cold bowl of cabbage soup. Oh and by the way, that old coot of a werehound bids me tell you that and I quote, "I have a little house in which I live all alone. It has no doors or windows, and if I want to go out I must break through the wall." What ever it means, I have no idea. Fare thee well." With a sniffle and a blowing his nose on his cloak, the odd cleric departs from the shop leaving the party in quite a befuddlement. What shall the party do? Edited November 1, 2011 by Waterbrick Down
Jedi master Brick Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 "Well done, I'll wait for the loot to be diveded but let's get going and thank you mr Ratabor." Elgar sighed and looked round the scene of his third battle.
Rumble Strike Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 Tarn's nose wrinkled in confusion as he considered the cleric's strange words. "I think he must've worked out what the old werehound was saying earlier, but even though we know the words it's as much a riddle as it was before."
soccerkid6 Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 (edited) That is what the werehound said when we asked if he has seen Julian. I say we think about it on the way to wherever we go next. I would still like to go back to the fish market to get a loan. One possible answer to the riddle, is an egg. It has no doors or windows, and the chick must break through the wall to get out. I took a look at the map, and realized Fort Bonaparte looks a lot like an egg. So that might have something to do with the answer to this mess. And I suppose everyone will get 12 gold. Rumble Strike Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 Tarn, polite and yet fearsome in battle, was not the sharpest knife on the hunter's belt. He wouldn't have much chance in actually solving a riddle, but hearing Sir Glorfindel's musings on the answer being an egg, nodded enthusiastically. "I believe our valiant Knight could be onto something here. Perhaps it is a place, or perhaps we need to look for an actual egg on our travels." Tarn looked again at the glass blowers, hefting Kyrferath and considering the possibility of fitting it with the hollow blade technology. "A gem-enfused hollow bladed weapon would truly be a marvel," he murmured.
CMP Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 Atramor rubbed his eyes at the wasting of a potion and the riddle. "See, I had that worked out already. But it doesn't help in the slightest." He then hands 12 gold to each member of the party, while pocketing the Grand Potion for himself. "Okay, we'll figure out this riddle later. Right now we need those Fractational Columns. And I don't think the Guild even needs to be charged, considering we just saved your shop."
Jedi master Brick Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 "Thanks for the gold, let's get going after getting what we need"
soccerkid6 Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 Thanks, so to the last shop? Or the fish market? I will still give everyone three gold for the trouble of going back.
