CMP Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 Glorf?! Somewhere in Heroica Hall, a barbarian laughs an evil laugh... "Sorry, William."
Waterbrick Down Posted November 4, 2011 Author Posted November 4, 2011 "Alrighty then. If you see Julian, tell him Mandrel says to keep alchemical spills away from his new turban." Atramor's compass needle points in a west, south westerdly direction.
Fred Daniel Yam Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 (edited) Where's that pointing to? Ziegfried Manor?! Either that or I can't find where North is on the map. Edited November 4, 2011 by volcanicpanik
CMP Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 "Hmmmm...." Atramor leads the party towards the route between the Fishmarket and the Apothecary.
Fred Daniel Yam Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 OOC: WBD, is North on the map just up and South is down?
Waterbrick Down Posted November 4, 2011 Author Posted November 4, 2011 (edited) QM Note: North is towards the top of the map. Atramor's compass begins to go around in circles, dark clouds start to gather over head and lightning flashes, creating an interference in the compass' signal. Edited November 4, 2011 by Waterbrick Down
CMP Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 Atramor stops and looks around the current area. "Think we're here..."
Fred Daniel Yam Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 Great, I predict we get attacked by more Bloodpaw guys, run into a commandant type, warns us to stop, we beat 'em up and he goes to the head honcho.
Waterbrick Down Posted November 4, 2011 Author Posted November 4, 2011 The Party stops in the middle of the street half-way between the Apothecary and the Fish Market. The rain begins to fall. What will the Party do?
Jedi master Brick Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 "I say fish market , if he is being kidnapped the kidnappers would go towards the coast to get away. Any way that is going toward fort Bonaparte.". Elgar as he used one of his Orc venom on his arrows.
Rumble Strike Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 Tarn was impressed by William's deductive skills in solving the riddle. He'd just wanted to cleave the two annoying grobs in half and be done with it. "I am not sure. If Julian has been taken we have no idea by who. However Fort Boneparte has come up in our discussions before so perhaps that's a good choice".
soccerkid6 Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 I would still like to make a quick stop in the fish market. But whatever the group wants to do I am ok with.
Rumble Strike Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 Tarn grimaced as the rain fell, soaking him. He knew his hair would get frizzy in a moment. He nodded to Sir Glorfindel. "If it gets us out of this infernal weather for a few minutes then let's go back to the fish market."
CMP Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 Atramor mumbles at the evident failure of finding Julian. "Fine, fishmarket it is."
soccerkid6 Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 Thanks, I will be as quick as possible. Meanwhile I suppose we should think about where to find Julian.
Waterbrick Down Posted November 5, 2011 Author Posted November 5, 2011 (edited) As the rain begins to spatter upon the cobblestones, the Party once again make their way to the fish market. Gurnam smiles as he sees the party approach. "Well, well, look what the cat dragged in. Ah, I see you've spent my money wisely haven't you rogue. You come to pay me back already? Or can I interest you in some of my other wares?" Services and Wares Available: Upgrade to Poison Blade: Gurnam will permanently instill a poison effect onto an individual’s weapon. Costs 80 Gold and 1 venom Venom: Use on a weapon to make it cause a poisoned-effect on an enemy it hits for the duration of one battle. A poisoned enemy loses 1 health each turn. Costs 7 Gold Short Loan: Gurnam will loan an amount of money at 30% interest, up to 100 gold for the entirety of the quest. The individuals must repay him by the end of the quest or be forced to sacrifice their inventory to make up the difference, though if the party fails, they will only have to give up any items they bought during the quest. CMP Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 "Well, guys, get your stuff and let's get going." Atramor taps the glass on the compass, attempting to use it again.
Waterbrick Down Posted November 5, 2011 Author Posted November 5, 2011 The lightning storm continues to interfere with Atramor's compass swinging it around in circles.
Jedi master Brick Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 "Let's get going, the price of his venom is high, I got Orc venom and that lasts 2 battles at the same price" Elgar talked to the group. Elgar looked round the market to see what was going on
soccerkid6 Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 (edited) I will borrow 40 gold I say as I take a bag of coins Edited November 5, 2011 by soccerkid6
CMP Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 "Alright. I guess we'll try getting to Fort Bonaparte?"
soccerkid6 Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 Sounds good. Seeing as your compass is still being stubborn. I would like to get a hollow blade put on my sword at some point. However we can do that anytime before we take Julian back to the Dr.
Rumble Strike Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 "Seeing as we haven't really got any leads, I'd be happy for us to get Sir Glorfindel kitted out."
soccerkid6 Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 I would just like to say, that my idea about Fort Bonaparte was before I knew that mentioning the egg would make the old werehound better. The old werehound didn't say anything about knowing where he went when he was back to normal.
Waterbrick Down Posted November 5, 2011 Author Posted November 5, 2011 (edited) "Let's get going, the price of his venom is high, I got Orc venom and that lasts 2 battles at the same price" Elgar talked to the group.
