I chose White Lightning's cockpit, because (with full armor on),Ha-Ya-To can NOT be sniped in any way (that is,if the windscreen is bulletproof).

*NOTES*

Stealth Hawk is an alternative name for the Gate Defender.

I did not include the promotional Hardsuits and the Sentai HQ Glidersuit, because they don't even have cockpits.

I do not mean the set-wise efficiency,but storyline-wise efficiency.

I forgot to add Striking Venom and the MDT to the list,so when voting for either, please confirm.

I voted for the Supernova. It's cockpit looks sturdy and protects most parts of the Pilot.

Story-line wise: The Stealth Hunter took a direkt hit to the cockpit from a Fire Vultere flamer. Nothing happend.

I voted for the White Lightning because like you said there is no way for it to be hit ;-) Cool poll

I don't think I'd design a mech that had glass in the windscreen. I'd instead completely enclose the pilot and install cameras to allow the pilot to see.

Find a good energy weapon and all those little LCD glass thingies that form the only protection for the pilot go sayonara in less than 3 miliseconds.

Whoever said Silent Strike was the best obviously never had it. If you have it, you can see it can get sniped on the sides and if it's straight above the ground the cockpit falls leaving the pilot completely exposed. ;-)

I'd vote for striking venom. So many built-in bots that You'll have a hellova time trying to blast 'em all before they blast you!

if u look at the side profile he could be sniped easily. the super nova or the silent strike on the other hand, they are almost completely protected X-D

I really feel that it doesn't matter.

The sets are the way they are because it keeps the cost down (fewer bricks), but still creates the illusion of armoured behemoths.

It works fine for me. Otherwice you would have to complain about the rear of the robots, that have no armour etc. etc.

I just looked at the Bridge Walker review and its true 8-

Bloke who voted for the Silent Strike here! Yes, I don't own it, and yes, I voted Silent Strike. I honestly don't see what's wrong with it, considering it's the same build as the Supernova. I compared the two instructions, and they're exactly the same! Also, I don't exactly see where you can "snipe" from the top. I even checked out KimT's brickshelf for details. Here's a pic of the top:

I can see how you can snipe from the side, but in that case, the SuperNova also has the same case.

Anyhoo, I think we're all neglecting the fact that all Exo-Force mechs have incredible plot armor. For those who don't know, incredible plot armor is what saves main characters from getting the ax. It's also the same device that makes all heroes and enemies have horrible aim, which makes "sniping" impossible. Usually, when one shoots, the shot will hit either the arm, leg or somewhere close (but not that close) to the cockpit. Therefore, nobody dies, and if they do, said random-faceless-grunt will do so off screen.

Yes, it is hard to snipe on top, but easy on the side. ;-)

Death to the red shirts! (or orange shirts, if you want to be accurate) :-P
