Looks pretty good. I like how you made it look cluttered, but without making the vig itself messy looking.

The one thing I don't like is the candle, it's a good idea, but I don't like the use of the hand, because to me, it doesn't really say 'flame' as much as just 'hand'. :-/

I think it would be better if you just used that lever piece like others have before. :-)

Still, a nice vig overall.

I like the details on this, try to find some more (dark)grey/bley for metal rather than black though. Good job otherwise!

Oh sorry. I meant 'hinge control piece' http://peeron.com/inv/parts/4593. When in yellow, I think it looks pretty good as a candle flame.

Ah, I see what you mean, that would look nice. I find a trans-yellow 1x1 round plate on a chrome lightsaber makes for a nice "candle" or something of the sort.

What's a BoM vig?

BoM is short for Book of Mormon.

Anyway, thank you all for your comments! It was interesting to see the different candle designs discussed in this thread; I'll definitely use them in different places. :-)
