LegoDad42 Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 Wow, great artwork here guys. Loved going through this thread. Here's a couple of things I like to draw from time to time. I get a few people that like that I draw in their sketchbooks or do illustrations on those blank variant covers that Marvel Comics puts out from time to time... Quote
def Posted November 24, 2011 Author Posted November 24, 2011 http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y174/PencillerZero/DSCN5573.jpg Ego the Living Planet! Can't go wrong with that Quote
def Posted December 3, 2011 Author Posted December 3, 2011 Finished my new story today. It involves talking foxes. I hope you like it. You can see them bigger here (http://naha-def.deviantart.com/art/Sly-Fox-1-0f-7-261973269) if that's the kind of thing you're into. Quote
TheLegoDr Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 (edited) def Great artwork, great comics. Moral of the story: Don't help strangers. You will just get stuck babysitting their kids. I also really like the culture shock comic. Edited December 3, 2011 by TheLegoDr Quote

Sisco Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 Wednesday from the Addams Family? I love that show! If it's not, it's still a fine piece of art. Quote
def Posted January 16, 2012 Author Posted January 16, 2012 Wednesday from the Addams Family? I love that show! If it's not, it's still a fine piece of art. I can see the resemblance (and did when I drew it) but I actually just did a screen grab of the girl in True Grit. A relatively unflattering one at the start of the flick too. She doesn't really have a dopey expression for most of the film. Still, I think it was an interesting facial expression. Thanks Quote
Sisco Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 Ironically, I'm watching True Grit right now, and I can see it. Still a fantastic character and work of art. Quote
kotaco Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 I don't have the talents to draw things out in pencil, but I can do a little bit with the computer. These are my LDD designs with some spice added: Quote
Antrozek Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 some random stuff I drew last year. pretty proud of this sketch (dunno if anyone here knows where's this from) (spoiler: it's gundam) A little quick splatterhouse doodle, this one is more recent Quote
Aanchir Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 One of my most recent projects: (Sensei Wu and Lord Garmadon are upcoming-- still need to finish coloring them) Also, I drew this pic of Breez from Hero Factory during work last week: Quote
Palathadric Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012 I did a fair bit of drawing in the past. I'll see if I can scan any of my old works. I do painting every once in a while these days too. Here is one I worked on: Quote
Vindicare Posted March 23, 2012 Posted March 23, 2012 def, you have a great skill! I love your artwork, and the stories. I took some offense(both real and hypothetical) to your comment of people wearing sports attire when they physically can't play. Great job, nonetheless. Quote

Thanks Honestly, the ideas in my head can be aggressive, and my artistic challenge is to make them as non-offensive as possible while not being watered-down. I have to admit though, I have, at best, an antagonistic relationship to sports Quote
Aanchir Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 This is my entry for BZPower's General Art Contest #18: Battlescapes. The theme was to draw any sort of battle or conflict involving LEGO or BIONICLE characters. I may have stretched that definition a bit. Click for fullsize: Topic deviantART page Quote
CM4Sci Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 I like to doodle in my spare time, and I'm also kinda good at it on Paint.NET. Here are a couple of my eh..drawings: -Sci Quote
def Posted May 23, 2012 Author Posted May 23, 2012 Doing some illustrations today, and this was the best of them. Working on another strip, just a matter of keeping focus Quote

Corweena Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 Its been a while since I've been on here, but I haven't stopped drawing! Recently, I've decided to challenge myself to try and draw animate objects instead of just cars, planes, etc. So for my first venture into this type of drawing, I decided to do something that is both animate and mechanical..... IRON MAN! Its still a work in progress, I will be darkening all of the lines, as well as add some minor details, and lastly, shade the whole drawing. Quote
jFox Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 A painting I did, I call it "Son of Mario" and based it on a Magritte painting. Size: 20"x30" Quote
Aanchir Posted July 21, 2012 Posted July 21, 2012 I've been pretty productive artistically in recent weeks: First, an image of Holly Short from Eoin Colfer's Artemis Fowl series which I've been working on coloring for some time. Next, an image of the Endless from Neil Gaiman's The Sandman in the style of the show My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. I am far from the first to do this. Third, an image of Kai and his family from LEGO Ninjago. They don't really look to be the right ages relative to one another, but I still thought it was a cute image. I'm very pleased with how clean I kept the lineart on this one. May color it eventually. Finally, a picture of Jaller, Captain of the Ta-Koro Guard from BIONICLE. This was done for a contest on BZPower. It's in the same style as my Macku drawing from a couple years ago, which I've always been quite happy with. Quote
