Mrlegoninja Posted October 25, 2011 Posted October 25, 2011 I agree. Maybe thoroughly checking the docks would be a good idea, though I have nothing against searching my house. I don't particularly want you all nosying around my room, though. Your house? Son, this is my house. I bought it, and I paid for it. Anyways, have we reached the docks? If so, I'd like a description of the docks.
CorneliusMurdock Posted October 25, 2011 Posted October 25, 2011 Those boxes are as good a place to start looking as any. I'd like to look at them to see what they're marked as and if there's anything in with them that doesn't belong. Are there any NPCs on the docks to talk to?

James decides to open all the crates and spill out the contents. "Gah! Look what you've done!" "Hi." The investigators may now talk to: Jake McHenry Fisherman Hank "I'm getting too old for this shit" Johnson Dockworker
Peanuts Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 I'd like to look inside the briefcase, the white bagpack, check what the white round thing is, turn the green 1x2 plate around to see if it appears to be a 100 Dollar Bill, and, if possible, check if the crossbow and the musket are loaded, serviceable and where they would be delivered to. Also I'd like to ask both McHenry and Johnson if they've seen something suspicious or unusual on the docks lately.

In addition to this, I would like to ask both McHenry and Johnson if they have noticed anything about the activities of a man named Richard Branhauser, black-haired, who was found here yesterday. Also, did they ever see Chief McGovern come around these parts either during the day or night?
Jedi master Brick Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 I would like to knowing there is CCTV here and if anyone came here last night? Someone else died last night and the FBI think this is not going well from what I have heard. I also think getting some seafood is a nice idea
Bob Posted October 26, 2011 Author Posted October 26, 2011 (edited) I'd like to look inside the briefcase, the white bagpack, check what the white round thing is, turn the green 1x2 plate around to see if it appears to be a 100 Dollar Bill, and, if possible, check if the crossbow and the musket are loaded, serviceable and where they would be delivered to. Also I'd like to ask both McHenry and Johnson if they've seen something suspicious or unusual on the docks lately. There's nothing in the briefcase. Inside the backpack is a sleeping bag, a frying pan, and a knife. The "white round thing" is a clock. The green plate is indeed a one hundred dollar bill. Neither of the weapons are loaded. Both are addressed to Winston Robertson. It would appear that both weapons do not function. "Yeah, you morons!" "Can't say I have." Good work Amber. In addition to this, I would like to ask both McHenry and Johnson if they have noticed anything about the activities of a man named Richard Branhauser, black-haired, who was found here yesterday. Also, did they ever see Chief McGovern come around these parts either during the day or night? "He's a co-worker, but not much else. I don't associate myself with him. I've never really seen McGovern at the docks, except when he was here on that attempted murder case." "Can't say I have." I would like to knowing there is CCTV here and if anyone came here last night? Someone else died last night and the FBI think this is not going well from what I have heard. I also think getting some seafood is a nice idea No CCTV at the docks. Edited October 26, 2011 by Bob_
CorneliusMurdock Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 I would like to ask them both if anyone besides us have been snooping around here. Also I'd like to ask their opions on the attempted muder of the tourist, and whether they think Scott might have been involved somehow.

I could have known they were for Dad. I assume he's also the receiver of the two shields? Who else would buy such useless stuff? I'd like to pocket the bill after examining it closely and then continue searching through the seafood. "Yeah, you morons!" "Can't say I have." Wow, those guys are really helpful. I'd like to ask the dock workers if they have any idea why anyone would kill Officer Jackson. Or if they know anything of avail about him. Or if they've heard his name before. I'd also like to ask them how many attempted murder cases there had been on the docks and if they know any details.

Also I'd like to ask their opions on the attempted muder of the tourist, and whether they think Scott might have been involved somehow. "Well, obviously the police were after the case, but I'm not here at night so I wouldn't know. During the day, however, it's busy and business as usual, so anyone snooping around could be ignored. That tourist? A tragedy, but I doubt that Deputy Chief Scott was involved. "Can't say I ha- Oh, that doesn't apply to this situation. I haven't seen anyone odd, but then again I usually just talk to my fish. What attempted murder at the docks? When did that happen?" I could have known they were for Dad. I assume he's also the receiver of the two shields? Who else would buy such useless stuff? I'd like to pocket the bill after examining it closely and then continue searching through the seafood. Amber takes the money, and then reaches around through the slimy seafood. There's nothing odd in there. "Watch where you put your hands, hot stuff. These are my fish." "Officer Jackson? He's a nice kid. I like him. You don't see to many people like him nowadays. I don't know why someone would kill him. There's been no other murder cases at these docks. There's never really been crime here until recently." "Officer Who? "
Rumble Strike Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 "Great! More of my expensive artifacts being manhandled! I thought we had enough of that yesterday!" muttered Winston. I would like to investigate the warehouse.
Fugazi Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 "I haven't seen anyone odd, but then again I usually just talk to my fish." Reminds me of someone I know. Right, let's see what's in that warehouse.
CorneliusMurdock Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 I'd like to examine the crates that any of Winston's "artifacts" came in for false bottoms or any signs of smuggling.
Peanuts Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 Okay, after James has checked the boxes, let's head to the warehouse.
Bob Posted October 26, 2011 Author Posted October 26, 2011 Reminds me of someone I know. Right, let's see what's in that warehouse. It's empty. "There really haven't been any new shipments into town for awhile. The last batch, besides the crates out here, was sent off a few days ago." I'd like to examine the crates that any of Winston's "artifacts" came in for false bottoms or any signs of smuggling. No false bottoms or smuggling signs here. Everything seems legitimate. "Where do you recommend we go to next?" "Huh? I've got this really cool rhythm going you know. I'd rather sit here and work on that then do this whole investigating thing you know." "Gosh am I tired. I spent the entire night arguing." *Yawn* "I guess that's one thing we can agree on." "So let the sideshow begin! Hurry, hurry, step right in! Can't afford to pass it by, guaranteed to make you cry! Let the sideshow begin, hurry, hurry, step right on in! Can't affo--" The townspeople looked at Officer Hutch. "Oh, sorry, I was practicing my favorite song."
ADHO15 Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 "I suggest either our () house or the Jordans' house. None of the other houses have given us much to go on yet, but I get the feeling there's obviously somewhere we should be looking."

Bob Posted October 26, 2011 Author Posted October 26, 2011 PAUSE See the Discussion Thread, please. Also, don't post here.
Bob Posted October 27, 2011 Author Posted October 27, 2011 Unpause! A taxi stops, and Marcus Baker steps out. "Hi, I'm back!"
CMP Posted October 27, 2011 Posted October 27, 2011 Well, there's a few things to lay down before we move on. 1. Baseball bats hurt. 2. I do NOT play with my Star Trek action figures at night. Only before 8, because that's when I put on the original Star Trek to fall asleep to. Duh. 3. Nurses are hot. Right. So. What's that black thingy in the boxes next to the shield? And I'd like to check the Montgomery's house.
CorneliusMurdock Posted October 27, 2011 Posted October 27, 2011 Well, this looks like another dead end. I don't think we're gonna get anything useful from fish guy over there and there's not much else to really search. I'm fine with going to the Montgomery's house.
Jedi master Brick Posted October 27, 2011 Posted October 27, 2011 Welcome back Marcus I would like to ask Marcus what he remembers about his attacker
Bob Posted October 27, 2011 Author Posted October 27, 2011 What's that black thingy in the boxes next to the shield? It's a piece of construction material, nothing seemingly malicious. "Welcome to our formerly happy home!" Jack says. You are on the first floor. Please select a room you would like to visit first. You may go to one room at a time, and may not go upstairs until you are finished on this floor. Diagram is not to scale.
