Peanuts Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 I'd like to know what I see when I look out of the window and check if there is anything behind the clock. Just in case there's another safe.
CorneliusMurdock Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 Can one of the Montgomery's explain this bloody knife? Really weird that it would be left out on the counter next to the trophy. Is that the remnants of an alcoholic drink next to it? I'd like to examine the glass with the cherries in it.

Is that the remnants of an alcoholic drink next to it? Is there any known case of somebody in this town ever being attacked by a knife before? What about that tourist at the docks? What happened to him, anyway? I'd like to ask Snowball if she's seen anything unusual recently before moving the crowd on towards the den. Really? This town is insane.

Bob Posted October 30, 2011 Author Posted October 30, 2011 I check the calendar for anything written on or in it or any pieces of paper tucked inside it. It's just the usual with random appointments and whatnot. I'd like to run my hand through the water of the sink to check how hot it is. Why? Well, if it is hot, someone has used it recently. It's cold. Oh, I see someone here is an amazing chef! Is it you Julia, or is it Jack? Just being curious, who won the first place this year? "It's me, but why do I sense a bit of sarcasm? And some guy from Santa Barbara won this year." Jeez, it couldn't possibly be me, could it? I'd like to ask Snowball if she's seen anything unusual recently before moving the crowd on towards the den. "Meow." I'd like to know what I see when I look out of the window and check if there is anything behind the clock. Just in case there's another safe. There's trees when one looks out the back window. There's also nothing behind the clock. Can one of the Montgomery's explain this bloody knife? Really weird that it would be left out on the counter next to the trophy. Is that the remnants of an alcoholic drink next to it? I'd like to examine the glass with the cherries in it. "I was cooking dinner last night; I had to cut the beef while it was raw to comply with the recipe. Is that a crime?" Is there any known case of somebody in this town ever being attacked by a knife before? What about that tourist at the docks? What happened to him, anyway? "Um, not that I can recall. I suppose someone has. The tourist from the docks went home." Can one of the Montgomery's explain this bloody knife? Really weird that it would be left out on the counter next to the trophy. Is that the remnants of an alcoholic drink next to it? I'd like to examine the glass with the cherries in it. Oh, and it's just an empty glass that has cherries in it for some reason.
Brickdoctor Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 Out of curiosity, why would someone having used the kitchen sink be unusual? And don't the Montgomery's have running cold water? I'd like to ask Julia why the knife has been left out, dirty.
Fugazi Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 "It's me, but why do I sense a bit of sarcasm? And some guy from Santa Barbara won this year." Not at all Jack, no sarcasm was intended. Congratulations though, I guess I know where I'll invite myself for dinner next time!
Peanuts Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 "Um, not that I can recall. I suppose someone has. The tourist from the docks went home." I know, but what happened before he went home? Can we get an overview of this whole case? By the way, shall we go on to the den?
Fugazi Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 By the way, shall we go on to the den? Yes, I believe we've checked everything in the kitchen.

I'd like to ask Julia why the knife has been left out, dirty. "I was a bit busy last night." I know, but what happened before he went home? Can we get an overview of this whole case? By the way, shall we go on to the den? "There's a copy of the case file in the Police Station. We all read it." The den.
Peanuts Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 "There's a copy of the case file in the Police Station. We all read it." Yeah, but the case file focused on Branhouser and you, Chief. But I assume I'm barking at the wrong tree again. Shall we head back to the Police Station, everyone? Anyway, I'd like to examine that red fish thing.
Fugazi Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 I would like to examine the decorative shield as well as the wall behind said shield.
Jedi master Brick Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 I would like to turn on the tv and put on the news I do hope we find something that can help us soon
Bob Posted October 31, 2011 Author Posted October 31, 2011 Yeah, but the case file focused on Branhouser and you, Chief. But I assume I'm barking at the wrong tree again. Shall we head back to the Police Station, everyone? Anyway, I'd like to examine that red fish thing. Well, there's no need to get snippy. "If you'd like me to try to remember the full story, I will. It was at night and this tourist was walking around on the docks, illegally I might add, to try and take some pictures. He was traveling alone. He was attacked, and he alerted the authorities by yelling. He was later taken away by ambulance and Branhauser was arrested. Unfortunately, it was a bad arrest as we all know. The case has since gone cold and we have to assume the attacked may have left. We also must acknowledge the theory that there wasn't an attacker at all. Forensics pointed that some wounds may have been self-inflicted. However, I'm saying much too much about an open case." The red fish thing is a giant red block with a painted fish on it. It serves no purpose and is completely solid. I would like to examine the decorative shield as well as the wall behind said shield. The shield looks like it is well taken care of. When 3001/55 removes the shield, nothing but dust is behind it. I would like to turn on the tv and put on the news I do hope we find something that can help us soon Ugh, the news. "Our top story today, the people of the tiny town of Lexington are still unable to find the killer of their beloved Chief. Sources close to the Mayor's Office tell us that the Mayor intends on promoting Deputy Chief Scott to official chief of police sometime in the near future. It is believed by a few that the case has gone cold. When we return, we'll show you the weather." I'd like to capsize the couch. Jack flips the couch over.
CorneliusMurdock Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 Jack, stop overturning your furniture! Go work out your anger issues when we're not investigating. Is the cabinet under the TV searchable? If so, I'll search it. I guess the fish block was just a red herring...
Bob Posted October 31, 2011 Author Posted October 31, 2011 Jack, stop overturning your furniture! Go work out your anger issues when we're not investigating. Is the cabinet under the TV searchable? If so, I'll search it. I guess the fish block was just a red herring... Yes, it is. There's various movies underneath, as well as remotes and a popcorn machine. Everyone laughs at James' joke. Second Floor, when you're ready.
Fugazi Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 Everyone laughs at James' joke. James, you're a riot. Ok, I'd like to browse through the objects in the cabinet in case there's anything unusual hidden among them. Then I'm ready to visit the upper floor. More specifically, unless there is anything of interest in the corridor, I suggest starting with Jeremy's room.

CorneliusMurdock Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 Somehow, I expected it to be messier. When Robbie was your age, Jeremy, I could never find the floor of his room. I'll check under the rug for anything that shouldn't be there.
Fugazi Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 Ah, I don't remember the last time I surfed. I need to get out more often. I would like to have a look in the chest of drawers.
ADHO15 Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 Somehow, I expected it to be messier. When Robbie was your age, Jeremy, I could never find the floor of his room. Oh no, I'm very tidy really. Ah, I don't remember the last time I surfed. I need to get out more often. You should come down to beach sometime. I could give you a lesson.

I'll check under the rug for anything that shouldn't be there. There's a lot of dust under the rug, as well as a crushed soda can and a folder. Ah, I don't remember the last time I surfed. I need to get out more often. I would like to have a look in the chest of drawers. There's a great deal of clothes inside the dresser including various shirts, about five of the same sweatshirt Jeremy has on now, a nice sweater, several pairs of pants, a comb, socks, underwear, pajamas, a folder, some gum, a candy bar, and a piece of felt.
ADHO15 Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 I'd like to eat the candy bar and check both folders.
