ImperialJohn Posted January 5, 2005 Posted January 5, 2005 It is great. Now the Danes finally can invade England again. Lego style :oD
Wolf04 Posted January 5, 2005 Posted January 5, 2005 Everything looks awsome. There are no words to describe these amazing sets. So detailed, so big. This is what LEGO should be. I hope LEGO has some amazing profits this year because they deserve it. Anybody know what the Adventurers theme will be? Near the Vikings picture, there is this kind of bird but I have no idea what it is.
Luigi Posted January 5, 2005 Posted January 5, 2005 "a crystal ball" He should have a palantir instead, or 7 cristal balls maybe to call the dragon and take the wish that Lego is making this set (which is maybe juste a fake but we all hope).
Vader Posted January 5, 2005 Posted January 5, 2005 Soon enough someone will put better pics of these sets up for us all to see, sooner the better IMO :)
The Middleman Posted January 5, 2005 Posted January 5, 2005 Hold the phones! VIKINGS!? WOW! Another return to classic themes! GREAT WORK LEGO!! I'm skeptical of Adventurers, though - it looks kinda thrown together. BUT VIKINGS. 10 bucks within the first few days of release there's a Spam Song diorama. ;)
Vader Posted January 5, 2005 Posted January 5, 2005 Well the adventures pic is not good so its too soon to judge really and as lego are giving some great sets this year the adventures sets could turn out to be fabulous.
bigbase Posted January 6, 2005 Posted January 6, 2005 it looks like we're going to get a lot of great sets this year, especially the vikings really got my attention! too bad the pics are so blurry, hasn't anyone got better pics yet? i'd love to see more of the vikings, and more pics of new adventures and city sets would also be welcome! 2005 yes yes yes.... :oD
Darth Drew Posted January 6, 2005 Posted January 6, 2005 2005 looks like the best year for TLC. :-D That viking ship looks very nice and is showing lego's return to the basics.
DoubleT Posted January 6, 2005 Posted January 6, 2005 it looks like we're going to get a lot of great sets this year, especially the vikings really got my attention! too bad the pics are so blurry, hasn't anyone got better pics yet? i'd love to see more of the vikings, and more pics of new adventures and city sets would also be welcome!2005 yes yes yes.... :oD Nope this is the first pic ;)
Orlego Posted January 6, 2005 Posted January 6, 2005 Vikings are a great theme. I can't wait for these sets. We just need the old pirate theme to come back and we will have the best year ever for Lego. :D BTW... how is it that a banned member can still post? |-/ ;)
Darth Drew Posted January 6, 2005 Posted January 6, 2005 I think this is how it goes: a banned member can register again with a new name it's easy to do and that is why it is difficult to stop banned members.
ApophisV Posted January 6, 2005 Posted January 6, 2005 Yes... That's exactly the point... We have the possibility to ban IPs also, so that the banned member can't connect from the PC he usually connected from. But if he signs up from another PC (at school, work, internet cafe,...) we can't controle this.. David signed up as "CSDB" and this member was already banned again before chistmas... But somehow (I'd say that was related to the hacker's attack where we probably lost some settings for the groups) "CSDB" wasn't a banned member anymore... So I had to put him back in the group he belongs... ;)
Jipay Posted January 6, 2005 Posted January 6, 2005 This hacking stuff is so annoying... Anyway, also take a look at the banned IPs just in case to see if they are still up ! gotta go to class fniff :'(
Orlego Posted January 6, 2005 Posted January 6, 2005 Ha ha ha, damn hackers. I see, just wondering. :D ;)
Vader Posted January 6, 2005 Posted January 6, 2005 So the sneaky little megablok got in through the back door, oh well hes been booted out again until he finds a open window :-D ;)
DoubleT Posted January 6, 2005 Posted January 6, 2005 Wel it would be no problem if he behaved...... But lol back on topic ;)
lemon_squeezer2 Posted January 7, 2005 Posted January 7, 2005 This is awesome A Viking theme was one of the top 10 ideas that I had always wished Lego would do. As long as the sets are good quality, I would definatly pick one up. Now all we need is an ancients theme with Romans and the like.
The Middleman Posted January 7, 2005 Posted January 7, 2005 Yes, a Greek and Roman theme has always been a top for everyone. If this sells well, I'll bet we'll see one! Maybe they'll realize that cultural themes sell well, even without a connection like Adventurers. ;)
Jipay Posted January 7, 2005 Posted January 7, 2005 Well I dunno ! Viking theme seems quite close to pirates, so why not a roman stuff later, who knows what are Lego plans for the future :)
Vader Posted January 7, 2005 Posted January 7, 2005 Well theres going to be a big hole to fill in late 2007 when the star wars sets stop, so lets hope they give us more themes like the ones that you guys have already suggested. :)
Orlego Posted January 7, 2005 Posted January 7, 2005 Roman sets would be great. Just imagine the cool Roman buildings...
