adello25 Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 So I originally missed out on the holiday train so I put it together by piece mail. Just need to pick up a few more of the train wheel parts; that train is long so it needs a bunch! I was wondering if the only way to power it was by the 9V system thing. I don't want to purchase all that just for the one train when I will be purchasing a bunch of PF parts for other trains. Can you power the Holiday Train by PF? Quote
medib Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 (edited) Not to slam you, but this topic has already been asked already a few times. Eurobricks Discussion thread The 9v solution is shown here: 9V instructions The PF aspect changes things. There isnt any room in the engine or coal car to make it compatible with Power Functions. If you moved it back to the first truck on the Passenger car, you might be able to fit all the Powerfunctions stuff, but you would have to forfeit some room from the passengers. I hope this helps. Thanks! Sorry for that, I looked a few pages back, maybe I just missed it. Quote
