Heyja,

Just recently I bought the 10197 Fire Bridage off Pixmania.com. While my girlfriend was building it, she noticed something strange; sometimes the brick count is missing (in the little box, top left corner of every page). You'd for example have to place 4 grey 1x4 bricks, and the inventory of the building page only displays one grey 1x4 brick, no count, no "1x", no "4x", no nothing. Other bricks in that same inventory box display their count just fine.

Is this something you've seen before? The digital PDF instructions, gotten from LEGO.com, are just fine so it's only the (older) printed version.

I think yours may have just been a printing error. I have that set and never noticed anything weird in the instructions while building mine.

Mine was a second hand buy from eBay. I didn't have any misprints on the instructions but, had a few missing piece scares. Either you're lucky, or unlucky, depending on how you want to look at it. Hope it comes together well default_classic.gif

I had tons of repeating/missing pages in my FB instructions booklet.

my set had an ORANGE 2x1 brick instead of a grey one... :)

I know this is an old thread but I just wanted to say I also have these errors in my FB instruction booklet. I ordered direct from Lego - I guess I must have gotten one from the back of the store-room if this is a 16months+ old problem.

I just got mine.....I had a piece error, 2 1x6 flat tiles replaced with 2 1x8 flat tiles. I have no idea how in the world this happened, perhaps something with the weights and they thought they had to add 2 1x8 instead of 1x6. They probably weigh about the same. Anyway I had to dig into my collection to get 2 1x6s......

Hi there, (first post, long time lurker :classic: )

I had this problem too about 2 weeks ago, & I contacted Lego for replacement instructions and when they arrived they were the same. I'd already finished the build by then so I just let them know that they still had an issue and left it at that.

The downloadable ones from lego.com don't have the problem, so I guess it's a oddly selective printing error.

I bought this a month ago and my instructions have the same problem. I've only just started building it and had a few incorrect parts for part 1 of the build. Am waiting until I hit the end of part 2 before I do anything about it though.

I have a set on its way now from eBay...I'll update this thread once I get a crack at it!

My instructrions are the same, bought the set new in March 2013 from amazon.de marketplace. The error only is in booklet one, booklet two is fine. I actually built the upper half of the building first because one of the bags (the one with the 34 dark red 1x6 bricks in it) had split open in the box and I was afraid I was missing some parts from that one (luckily, all parts were there)

So far, the missing brick counts in booklet one didn't give me any troubles apart from the fact that I have to scan closely for added bricks - but in the old days, almost all instructions were like that.

Hope I don't encounter any missing pieces.
