May 3, 201212 yr I had 6034, oh such memories! I loved that little set! Brilliant reviews! Its made me realise how much else I missed out on though, I only had 6034 and the grey castle (not the black knight one, the black knight enemy one, which was awesome, gave me soooo many hours of fun, loved the trap door ) I still have both the ghost and my black knight on his horse on my shelf even now

May 6, 201212 yr Great review! I'm loving all of them thus far. Black Knights were my favorite faction when I was young. I use to drool over the Black Knight castle as a kid. As a kid, I remember LEGO being hard to find . . . especially at my local store. Could only find the bigger sets at TRU are KBToys. And trips there were far from few. Luckily, I was able to get it on ebay :)

May 7, 201212 yr Since this thread has been revived, I'd like to add that it was only after this review that I realized how much the name "Black Knights" doesn't fit the faction at all. At the time of their release, the only black thing about them were the castle walls, which were later seen in the Wolfpack, Dragon Masters, Royal Knights, and the new Dragon Knights factions. They hardly wore any black (less than the preceding Falcons, for example), and they didn't seem dark or evil "in spirit" either. In hindsight, it looks like TLG came up with a decidedly undistinguished faction, then slapped a cool name on them to compensate. Not that I'm criticising or anything, they still have the best castle (6086) yet, as well as the best boat of the Castle line (the Sea Serpent 6057), IMO, not to mention my fond memories of 6034.

Never got a chance to snag 6086 but, it still ranks right up there with the Classic Space "Galaxy Explorer" set at the top of my "want to buy someday" list.
