Maxim I Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 And now I am thinking 'a out' a giant who is trying to text on an Ipad...
Maxim I Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 Still sorting my bricks Gonna be a race against the time for chal VI Anyway, I made while sorting next map. It is going to appear in one of my MOC's for Chal VI It is based on the many travels Lord Damaximus did with his Alleenridders. Also note that like real medieval maps, the scales can be a little bit wrong You can find the Guilds of Historica, Guilds of Eilandica ("my" Guilds), LCC (you never know it will be war, so we need to know their locations), the lands of ASOIAF (you have to turn your head upside down to see them clearly) and some other unnamed continents, islands, ... In next link, I noted the known Guilds: http://www.flickr.com/photos/76053512@N04/8635950132/in/photostream/
-Carson Haupt- Posted April 10, 2013 Posted April 10, 2013 Cool! I love drawing maps. It's one of my nerdy obsessions,
kabel Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 maybe some mod could change the first page of this thread where it still says that SoT is leader of Mitgardia
Maxim I Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 In 315 (after this post 314) posts, we hit the 25000 replies!!!! I think we can be proud
Disco86 Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 I thought GoH was about building and not about posthunting ???
kabel Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 Not only, somtimes GoH is about bullshiting as well!
Legonardo Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 what would GOH be without all the fun crud? Dmax: looks to good ol' avalonia...
ZCerberus Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 Switching guilds is not prohibited, but it is somewhat frowned upon. If you have not competed in more than one challenge for any one guild, I would guess the issue would be even less. In other words, you can switch if you really want to, but those who are highly affiliated with one guild may receive more backlash for switching.
Maxim I Posted April 20, 2013 Posted April 20, 2013 Hmm, nobody sent troops to besiege Cedrica together with Lord Damaximus (Except for the Nestland Clans) Shame on you guys!!
kabel Posted April 20, 2013 Posted April 20, 2013 (edited) too bad to hear pal, but consider that this is the final week for challenge VI. At least I am working on my stuff like crazy, trying to get thing done by next weekend. Guess the others do that too, considering that so far we have hardly any complete entries at all Edited April 20, 2013 by kabel
Maxim I Posted April 20, 2013 Posted April 20, 2013 The problem is I have some Avalonian, Mitgardian and Nocturnian soldiers marching with me, but I need some members who "claim" them... Or I just say they are mercenaries who are supporting my cause
kabel Posted April 20, 2013 Posted April 20, 2013 alright then, as an old friend and ally of Mpya Stedor (besides our differcences concerning the drow issue) I pledge you my support
soccerkid6 Posted April 20, 2013 Posted April 20, 2013 @damaximus: Glorfindel sent some troops to Cedrica after rescuing Cameria. So some of your Mitgardian soldiers could be from him :)
Legonardo Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 heck Ill claim them, Ill get some pics of some of my Avalonian warriors. (no siggies right?)

Great Oh and I planned to make a small reference to your entry (about your warriors opening the gate, because I don't have time to make such a MOC ) Edited April 21, 2013 by Damaximus
ZCerberus Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 If you live in Minnesota, you'd know Winter never left!
Gideon Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 A quick question regarding challenge VI (that might have been responded to already?): Do you actually have to include Revolword in the builds? My story right now doesn't include him, and rather focuses on another part of the showdown and is therefore compatible with most other endings, is that ok? In the rules it says that the builds should "-Finish the Revolword saga by writing a story that incorporates at least three different builds.", what made me confused was just the "finish" word...

In the rules it says that the builds should "-Finish the Revolword saga by writing a story that incorporates at least three different builds.", what made me confused was just the "finish" word... It's not necessary to actually show the minifigure in your builds I'm sure, but if you don't make any mention of him at all, I'm not sure how much that would be considered as finishing the saga; the idea I believe is opening up a new chapter where Revolword is not there/has been changed for the beginning at least (though many have left open the possibility of his returning). For voting purposes I do think a lot will depend on the ending of the story, so if you're trying to win there not talking at all about Revolword might not be the best idea. But I'm pretty sure something like that wouldn't disqualify you or anything! Of course I'm no authority. Just my two cents! Oh, and there is a thread for Challenge VI questions here. Might want to ask there?

Seems fine to me. Good luck!
Kayne Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 If you live in Minnesota, you'd know Winter never left! This made me chuckle....Michigan feels the same. I think that's why I chose Kaliphlin instead of Mitgardia. I can at least pretend to be warm
