Wow I just went a couple of weeks and so much activities to read and catch upon.

Nice to be back.

GoH for the win¡. :classic:

A list merely for myself (as I would lose count otherwise) of those who already arrived in Mpya Stedor:

Mitgardians:

Lord Besadarc Montero (Ecc)

Lord Elon Chorian (Ecc)

Lady Astrun Egilsdóttir (Cara)

Sir Edwyn (Sir Edwyn) - (capeless)

Lord Eric Grimmson (Kabel)

Sir Glorfindel (Sk6) - (you will have to recognise him by searching his smile :look: )

Sir Infernum (Infernum) - (The model of his hair has changed slightly)

Kyle, Finlay & Drake (Legofin) - (as I lack most of the LoTR armour, I had to give them other clothes)

Sir Lasvor (Yooha)

Lady Lena of Benoic (Ecc)

Sir Ragnar (Buurli) - (capeless)

Skyrimguy - (still has his hair, that's all)

Lord Steen Larsson of Stoneroda (Kabel) - (different head)

Captain Sven Thorson (Kabel)

Thorgar - (you can recognise his beard and hair)

Sir Uridius Dratipe (Garmadon)

Some unnamed dwarves atm (Kabel) => they are to drunk to tell their name atm

=> So right now I still have to do all the Mitgardians & some Nocturnians.

Problem is: I am out of capes... I only got dark green & dark red ones left (thanks to my brother), so it is possible I change some capes :look:

Sergio Jarrett has heard of your celebration and after the battle of Queen's Cross decided to make his way to Mpya Stedor, although not invited, to bring his best wishes and gifts to the celebration. As one of Historica's most renown mercenaries and one who has fought closely with the Gear Company and alongside many Mitgardian heroes, he feels obligated to share this day of celebration.

Everyone is invited, don't worry :classic: The problem is that it is really difficult to find back a character or a member sometimes

I gonna look if I find his parts in my collections. I hope I do because that is a very popular face your sigfig has!

A list merely for myself (as I would lose count otherwise) of those who already arrived in Mpya Stedor:

Kaliphlin:

[...]

Emad ibn Sohail al-Haboob (Gideon) - (different clothing)

[...]

I'm not surprised that Emad sees business opportunities in such an illustrious gathering

If you got the parts to build him, Sir Gideon would be happy to visit Mpya Stedor (since I will not be building any MOCs featuring him until earliest in August anyways...)

Most important parts: CMF elf hair or Eomer helmet, lion knight torso or breastplate, gray or dark red arms, dark red cape.

Maybe this should have been its own thread though...?

I don't really like making threads just for text :D

Also, considering it is an interguild happening, I thought this was a good place :classic:

Sir Gideon himself should be in the list as well :look: (looks like I forgot to place his name :look: ).

Anyway, he has the only elf-hair piece I got  Only his bodywear is a bit different, but the rest should be right :classic:

A few other Kaliphlinites arrived at Mpya Stedor:

Sir Kcaj Nosnikta (CptMugwash)

Amelia Phantomhive (Erynlasgalen)

Lord Erudhalion of Berigora (Gabe)

Lord Shale (Scubacarrot)

Sir Gideon (Gideon)

(@Scarst, I did not forgot you, but I am still struggling with the parts for your character :sceptic: )

Lets say I finally dug out my embassy from Challenge 2 and got around taking the decent pictures I promised last year. Where would I post them? In the old topic, bumping it to the first page or in a new topic with a link to the old one?

Definitely just make a new topic. The old one may be locked, but more importantly it's better to just make a new topic then bring back a really old one.

Thank you! That was exactly my impression. Just wasn't sure if there would be a problem showing the exact same moc again.

I already uploaded it to flickr so I guess I'll get around posting it tomorrow or so. :classic:

I will respond to that, since he is on a plane right now going back home. He made an interesting "on the way to MS" MOC before leaving my house. Although he didn't take his sigfig home, so I guess we won't see Sergio much more after this for a while (not that we saw a lot of him anyway, he only was in the battles and a few of MY MOCs... Scarst did build most of the Battle of Khordeem scenery though). He should post it tonight or tomorrow with the story.

Edit: as for his fig, when I had to make it, I just stuck him in a breastplate with green arms and legs. That beret is hard to get though. I only had one.

The beret is no problem, I think I can use the Scottish hat for that :classic:

The face will no problem as well (except maybe for some trouble with the drunken dwarves as I have to destroy one of them :look: )

And I can indeed put a breastplate over the Shakespear body... Yup, I think it will work out :classic:

Also, I am looking forward to the build

For the Historica Members who are living in Europe:

Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 November, the Belgian LUG will organise Brickmania Antwerp (in Belgium)

Ofcourse I will be there, just like Sebeus.

So maybe we can do a Guilds of Historica Table? It would be cool if we can show some of us work together :classic:

My city of Mpya Stedor will function as a city in the Pirates Lay-Out. But I can provide for example my 2 Interiors of my Chal VI entry and my "Amazon"-ship.

Probably I also can build some smaller MOC's as well. And I can ofcourse do something with all those sigfigs I have created :classic:

(note to the moderators/regulators: can I give this its own topic in the forum?)

Go ahead!

to be honest, I've never consciously been to Belgium so I'll think about it ...

Forget the thinking part, just do it

Google says it's about 4 hrs. That's as much as it takes to go to Berlin, quite an idea ...

Belgium is well worth a visit, great food and beer, beautiful buildings, nice people. Antwerp is a great city, I think you will enjoy it

Would love to attend but I'm already skipping college for some days the week before so I have to sit out on this one. Maybe I can ship a building or something to someone who's attending but thats all I could do.

I for myself will exhibit my Avalonian city layout in Berlin, Germany on the 17th and 18th of August on the 2nd Steinewahn event. Don't think that I posted this announcement here in the general thread. Feel free to attend, fellow German or European members!

Well, as I'm busy with my band the August weekend, I guess I'll have to go to Antwerpen! However, I'll only come if you don't mix strawberries into the beer!!

I fear it will be really expensive to ship a building :sceptic:

Hmm, 17th and 18th August... In Berlin... That's really tempting  I have to work the day after very early, but maybe I can come at Saturday and visit some friends of me in Berlin afterwards! :classic:

You know that is the only thing Belgian beer is known for here in the states.
