September 28, 200618 yr I think the Virtual console prices were: NES: 5 Euro SNES: 7 or 8 Euro N64: 10 Euro I don't think any word on downloading Gamecube games is out yet. I think you just need to buy the games, since it has been confirmed that they will work on the Wii. I don't think you can download them.
September 28, 200618 yr Well, yeah. I mean you can just play GCN games on the Wii...and besides, they're probably too big to be downloaded efficiently (or realistically), though the real reason is that they'd be cheaper to download, and Nintendo would end up losing money since they're still on the market ;-)

September 29, 200618 yr They'll only start allowing downloads online of GCN games when they stop selling GCN games altogether, which will be when the NEXT console comes out ;-)
September 29, 200618 yr Author My local games store has already stopped selling gamecube games, which I'm pretty appaled with.
October 4, 200618 yr in canada it is nov. 19. im gonna beg my parents for it. it also plays NGC games, which is a good thing considering i have 8 NGCGs
October 5, 200618 yr 8 Cubes? Or 8 games? Well, I have 2 Cubes myself. One has a lens which couldn't take it anymore after 3 years of heavy use, so I got a second one. It'll be good to have a Wii around in case my second Cube fails on me too. Else that makes 23 useless games :-/
October 5, 200618 yr Yea, it is a good thing that the Wii is backwards compatible, because once my GCN stops running I would have 33 useless games! X-D
October 12, 200618 yr Author Hey guys, here are some cool vids of people from around the world playing Wii Sports: Wii Sports Looks like it'll be fun straight out the box.
October 12, 200618 yr Cool. But it's going to be hard to play when I'm forced to sit on top of a bunk bed to play. Maybe I need a room re-arrange....
October 12, 200618 yr Cool. But it's going to be hard to play when I'm forced to sit on top of a bunk bed to play. Maybe I need a room re-arrange.... Hehe, just try not to smack your ceiling too many times with the controller. :-P
October 12, 200618 yr Am I the only one noticing a slight lag between user input and the onscreen action in those WiiSports videos?
October 12, 200618 yr no, you're not. Wii looks awesome but I think I'll stick with my Xbox 360 for now. :-/
October 13, 200618 yr Keep in mind that it's a demo, and people still need to get used to the control scheme ;-)
October 13, 200618 yr Author Even if there is some slight lag present, it doesn't seem enough to totally ruin the gameplay.
October 13, 200618 yr Sorry for double posting, but back on the topic of the controller delay, I found a video about programming the Wiimote. Anyways the last part, part 3 shows a small game the guy made and I noticed that there is no delay whatsoever... what do you guys think? 8-
October 14, 200618 yr Author Arguably, this could be due to the game being a lot simpler. But it does show that there is no lag normally.
