JopieK Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 Well, I have used jopiek for about 11 years now I guessm since I became active on the internet (1997 when I started my Bachelor in Informatics). it's a modification to my first name Johan (eng: John) and the added K of my lastname. So it also should be pronounced [jopʰiːkɑ] or in English [jopʰiːke]. Quote

Admiral Bejaune Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 (edited) I really only build sailing ships, so I wanted to go with just HMS, but I think It was taken or not long enough so I just put 243 at the end. 243 is the start of an old telephone number I once had. Zorro Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 Zorro is the same as "De Vos" in Dutch, it also used to be my nickname on school, that is why I use it. And also my email starts with Zorro. The number 3999 is my Visa Card Code (the one of Visa 3765-7587-7876-467 that expires January 2010) I took it so I would always remember it. Quote

Dark Sword Ragnarok Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 (edited) Well, let's see. When I was little (like, 10 or something) all my friends had a Neopets account. I made one and tried to name myself "ragnarok" after the double-bladed sword called the Ragnarok in FF: Crystal Chronicles. Alas, the name was taken, but Ragnarok214 was suggested. I took that. When I joined here, I thought I should get a name that sounded really cool, but stayed true to my original. The original Ragnarok I saw was black, so I thought, Black=Dark. And, well, it's a sword, so, yeah. Dark Sword Ragnarok! Whammo! Just as a side note, the Ragnarok is the most powerful sword in most all FF games (except FF Tactics Advance I, where it is the weaker sword, and the Nagrarok is most powerful) An excerpt from FF:CC:Ring of Fates: "The fantastical sword said to lead toward the world's end, and then to another world reborn." and what the design says: "Pattern for the weapon used by the king of gods in the final battle. For Clavats only." Thus, Clone Commando Two- Fourteen, also. DSR Edited October 20, 2008 by Dark Sword Ragnarok Quote
h.k. Posted November 2, 2008 Posted November 2, 2008 Well, whenever I register for something online, I use h.k. because no one has that. It is my first and middle name's first letters. Quote

hewkii9 Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 Well, a long time ago, in like grade 3, I was in running club. I quit in grade 7 after I came second-last in a race, and last place broke his leg. But I was running, lagging behind my friends [second-last, remember?], when I heard one of them mentioning leveling up their cooking. I was intrigued. I found out they were discussing Runescape. Oh, those good old days with the crap for beans graphics and the delightfully retro feeling to it. I signed up, needed a username. Hewkii's my favorite Bionicle character [well, tied with Pohatu], so hewkii. And I was 9, so hewkii9 was born. I've used it ever since for everything. Although I'm Hewkiril on CC. Quote
Dennimator Posted November 5, 2008 Posted November 5, 2008 Well, mine actually is very simple. I´m doing stop-motion animations and my name is Dennis. Dennis + animator = Dennimator. On youtube it´s Dennimation, though. (Haven´t uploaded anything there yet, my brickfilms are crap... But I have got a great idea! ) Quote
Captain Zuloo Posted November 6, 2008 Posted November 6, 2008 Well, my name is from a long tradition of te Zuloo... Actually, I was pretty tired when I created my account, so instead of Zulu I wrote Zuloo. But I'm actually glad I didn't make it Zulu, because it's more unique this way. I reckon Captain Zuloo is a good name for a pirate hunting minifig anyway. Quote
Guss Posted November 6, 2008 Posted November 6, 2008 so you're the captain of the Zulu ? funny ^^ Dennimator : nice contraction ^^ @Guss: default_oh3.gif I never would have guessed! default_tong.gif and I didn't put my complete nickname ^^ Normally it's : Guss De Blöd , but it's too long to write when I want to connect to a website, so I used Guss ^^ you want to know WHY "de Blöd" I think there is some german people there ? They surely know what " Der Blödmann" means ( I don't speak German, It's just another friend who called me like this because he was german and used to say that I do stupid things ^^ ) Quote

ProducePrincess Posted November 8, 2008 Posted November 8, 2008 I got my name from a stratagey i use in crysis where i jump like a rabbit to avoid being hit ,because when your fighting hackers they can 1 shot kill you and the reason why its black rabbit is becasue it sounds more sinister than white rabbit ive had multiple names like doomsayer but i found those names to be somewhat stupid so thats why i stuck with black rabbit Quote
Bricklanta Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 (edited) My name comes from a Gameboy Advance game called Golden Sun. Back in the days when I first got on the internet (well, on a daily basis) I really loved that game and just loved the pronunciation of Kikuichimonji (which is a sword in it, it's based on some kind of Japanese folklore/legend).Like most of us, I never got rid of it. I still like the sound of it, but I'm not into Japan that much anymore. Although...I still enjoy collecting Japanese games and am teaching myself Japanese. ...can you imagine how bad it was a couple of years ago :-D I love that game too! I can't wait for Golden Sun 3. My name comes from the city I'm from, Atlanta Georgia plus brick. So it's Bricklanta Edited November 11, 2008 by BRICKLANTA Quote
Thee Pirate Posted November 13, 2008 Posted November 13, 2008 My name actually has nothing to do with Lego pirates, and everything to do with rock and roll. Thee Pirates was a punk rock band from Canada around 10 years ago. I was a pretty big fan of them, saw them every single time they came to California... and my user names have always been "thee pirate" or "hot rod camaro" (because of my first car) Thee Pirate just seemed more appropriate for this forum, so Thee Pirate it was. I'm even a huge fan of un-Lego pirate merch. Movies (Captain Blood, POTC, Treasure Island, etc.) , books (Richard Zacks' The Pirate Hunter), games (I totally have the POTC edition of Life, where you sail around in a little boat instead of drive a car, and I have been known to play Sid Meier's Pirates for hours on end) Quote
iamded Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 I [...] tried to name myself "ragnarok" after the double-bladed sword called the Ragnarok in FF: Crystal Chronicles. Ragnarok is actually the end of the world / beginning of a new world in Norse mythology. Don't worry, I learnt that from video games too, in Age of Mythology. ~Peace Quote

It's good to have that cleared up. Quote
