OMG! You sound just like my husband. He often wears his Morning Suit, Graduation Gown or some such fanciness to the most inappropriate places. He also only uses shirt with french cuffs so he can wear one of his many cufflinks. And his manner of speaking is QUITE QUITE specific, when he gets very mad he tends to sound British.

Well, that's great! We, indeed, seem to have much in common! ) :classic::thumbup:

That's good, isn't it? )

Good day, gentlemen! ) :sweet:

I wanted a new nickname, and I was looking for something very simple and generic related to Lego. Tried a few simple manipulations of the word "Lego" until I've found one that wasn't somebody else's nickname already.

I then used Legoist on all Lego-related forums I joined so far: Eurobricks, Classic-Space, Classic-Castle and Tabletown. I think there are other Legoist in other forums online, but they're not me :classic:

Well, I've always made up puns, and since I got the Jungle Duel set I couldn't not think of Cleopatra when I saw that hair on Irina Spalko. Anyway, I got the recent Clone Walker Battle Pack right around when I decided to join EB, so I stuck the hair on the clone with ARC armor, snapped a photo, and called it Clone O'Patra. That's a mix of Star Wars, ancient Egyptian, and Irish! (but I am not Irish, Egyptian, or from the fictional Star Wars universe, although I am a fan).

That's my name story!

CC1004 meaning Commander Gree's (from Star Wars) clone trooper number. My favorite clone. I added J suggesting Jedi Clone Commander making him force sensitive. I did not see DarthMilo77's video at that time. By jedi I meant lightsader wielding clone. I just needed a litte uniqueness for my screen name. If any of you want to call me by my real name Alexander, feel free to.

Big Cam

I got this nickname along time ago, a friend of a friend went on a roadtrip with me and my friend and he kept calling me that becasue my last name starts with CAM and I am 6'4" SO I am pretty tall.

No one else has ever called me that, but It stuck as my forum name.

I'm registered on lots of forums under that name, I can't imagine being on a forum under a different name.

This is going to sound incredibly sad.

Myself and my brother (not brickzone - the other one...) both had a special most favourite legendary character each that formed the subject and centre of most of our amazing Lego super-imaginative playing and building. This developed swiftly into full-blown stories and sagas spanning centuries and across millions of light-years. Ahem.

Eventually, to complete English creative-writing essays, assigned as homework from school, we decided to write about these characters. The only problem was that they had been christened when we were very young indeed. As such, all we knew were twee, inane and childish names. The characters had sadly been named "Tommy" and "Timmy". It doesn't get much worse than that.

Our reaction was almost as sad. We started going through all our famed Lego characters, updating their names into new funky, peculiar, pseudo-sci-fi, unrealistic, non-twee, double-barreled names. "Tommy" became "Talin Agasan". An improvement? Well, it fitted the stories a lot better...

That is all. :sadnew:

Well the way I got my name was rather strange. I as one day thinking of a name for a knight or king from a fantesy realm. Suddenly Eskallon jumped into my head, this was along with the name debalon as an evil enemy but also a great friend. I used tthis name in some peacies of writing but then I started to love them and I decided to use it here and in a few other places. Though you may sometimes find the name in other places and it would not be me, though the name is completely original.

Some of you would pronounce it in different ways but I personally prefer saying it as: es-ka-lon. This is a very weird name but I absoloutly love it for some reason.

I like the bounty hunter IG-88 :yoda: , and one day when I thought about joining this (fine) forum I thought "I should use jumbled up letters to make a name like IG-88" Thus, YG-49 was born

Filefolders is a name I've had for at least four years. I was at my friend's house when he wanted me to sign up for a game called RuneScape. This friend had had a box of file folders under his family's computer desk for years and it caught my attention whenever I saw it so the name Filefolders can be see in various places across the Internet.

my name also came from Runescape. my cousin was making me an account for runescape and he made my runscape username. he made the first part Caleb, because that is my real name, the second part Exo, (cousin looks around room, sees massive exo-force display) because i liked Exo-Force at the time, and the last part 01 because it was my favorite Lego theme (and he says its best to include numbers in usernames/passwords). after that, i decided i liked the name and didnt want to have to remember a bunch of usernames so i used it for alot of stuff (like eurobricks)

and that is my name

The 3.14 part was for Pi day (when I joined or for that Pi is awesome!) and the Toasts part is because toast is the best form of bread.

pi is awesome and toast is the best form of bread(whoever invented toast is a genius) Yeah Toast!

My name came purely from my like of penguins. I had made a web site for a computer and applications class and had titled my web site "Penguinz". The web site never was online but the title that I gave it I thought was cool, so I used it again here.

Well, I like Bionicle (not as much as I sued to though) and I've always liked the ice guys – particularly Kopaka. And lightsabers are cool, so I put together ice and saber (from lightsaber) to make icesaber.

After having had a billion usernames rejected on registration -on a different site but same day- and getting the message "user name invalid" I ran out of ideas, so I entered UserNameInvalid.

To my surprise this name was accepted.

Well, Alpha, beginning, was my screen name on SWBF2 for quite a period of time. I joined Flickr, and added 'Attacker', which got me AlphAttacker. Then, on CABG, I also used Alpha.

And now, as you can guess, I'm the supermegaawesome Alph-oh, wait, I'm just regular old Alpha.

5150= American police code for insanity, or an unstable individual. When i used to race cars, i was known for never backing down in high speed corners, and generally just going balls out. My friends gave me the nickname 5150. Since then every screen name I've had has had 5150 in it in some form or another.

As for Lego... Ya, i think that's obvious. :)

So what kind of racing did you do? My wife and I used to run stage rally in the SCCA ProRally series (now known as the Rally America series).
