Big Cam Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 cralegoboy. Pronounced see-are-aie-leh-goe-boi. cra-initials of my school( a very good school, hardly any bullying ), lego- this should be self explanatory, and boy-I'm a guy. LOL, I feel a fool, when adding your name to an index in the Reviewers academy, I read it is Crale Go Boy, and I was really confused. All is explained now. Quote
Sisco Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 I read it is Crale Go Boy, and I was really confused. All is explained now. Oh, don't worry, I get that a lot . Seriously, though, I probably should have capitalized the CRA in cralegoboy... Quote
Carbohydrates Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 I used to play a lot of Unreal Tournament, a PC first person shooter game, against my dad. At one point in time, he was on the Atkins diet when we played, and I was doing well against him, so I started changing my in-game name to various carb-laden foods like "rice," "pasta," "pie," and so on, so he kept seeing messages such as, "You were killed by pasta." Eventually, I got tired of constantly changing the name and left it as "Carbohydrates," and it stuck. That was almost 10 years ago, and I use the name for just about everything. Luckily, it's generally available when registering for things. Quote

LegoLink Posted December 6, 2009 Posted December 6, 2009 When I joined back in January I had an obsession with The Legend of Zelda games and decided to name my avatar by the main character's name, Link. So basically it's Lego+Link=LegoLink. LegoLink Quote
The Who Posted December 6, 2009 Posted December 6, 2009 (edited) Due to recommendation, I guess I'll explain my names here. booger540: When I was about 10 years old and created my email, I was absolutely bored out of my mind and could not think of anything else to use as a name. That sort of stuck ever since (Until now, of course). The Who: This one makes a little more sense, I think. Seeing the name booger540 made me feel as if I looked immature, so I wanted to change it, but again stumbled upon the problem of deciding on a good name. I was thinking of bands I like (The Who, for example), and AC/DC's song "Who Made Who," when I thought of this name. Plus my friend and I used to always talk about The Who in conversations where most of the questions asked where 'Who?' and 'What were they called again?' Ah, good times, good times... Inconspicuous Posted December 6, 2009 Posted December 6, 2009 I spent some time coming up with mine. I wanted a name that sounded professional, and downright goofy at the same time. Any words with the "uou" in it are kind of funny, and I decided on "Inconspicuous", partially due to my love of magic tricks. If something is "inconspicuous" it is "not easily noticed or seen; not prominent or striking". This definition appealed to me, so it was the perfect balance of silliness, proffesionality, and meaning. Since it is rather long, the Reviewers Academy Teachers requested a nickname. "Inconspicky" sounds a little funny, but I'll take it. "Inky" was the right length and sounded right. Quote
Ras 74 Posted December 6, 2009 Posted December 6, 2009 Thanks Who! I knew your old name and your avatar. But have been wondering about who is The Who. Now all is back to normal again Quote

"You killed Yourself" "You were killed by Yourself." I'm not sure if I've posted mine yet, basically it's a combination of my first and last name, with some numbers at the end. Quote

shackleton Posted December 26, 2009 Posted December 26, 2009 My name is what I call my LEGO city, but the "shackle" portion comes from a job I was working on. I work with heavy construction equipment and one day I was struck in the head with an 8-1/2 ton "shackle" that spun loose from a crane. It struck me in my right eye at about 15 miles per hour. The shackle itself weighs about 4 pounds and is commonly used in the construction industry. By Divine intervention, I survived the incident with no stitches, no concusion, no break or fracture, and no loss of vision. I even drove home from the job site later the same day. I returned to work the next day and one of my co-workers gave me the shackle that hit me as a "good luck" charm. And from then on my nickname has been "Shackle" that was over 5 years ago. Quote

Mörs Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 I took the name after a certain brown bear that lives at a certain zoo I often frequent, as I think both the name as well as its BEARer are cool. Ahh, I love bears... Had to say this, seeing as certain people thought I was German, which I'm not. THAT BEAR, however, is. Quote
