Once, a (kinda) long time ago, I tried registering for a Lego.com account. I was rather focused on Bionicle at that time, so I tried the name "tahu," which, amazingly, came up as taken. Annoyed by the constant suggestions to try "tahu455387692." :hmpf_bad:

I attempted to implement my memorization of which number each letter is in the alphabet, (A=1, etc.) I settled on t20a1h5u23. Of course, for anyone who cares to check, I was wrong, as H=8, and U=21. My username should be t20a1h8u21, but that looks even weirder now that I have been using this for so long.

I actually like my username, and can type it in less than three seconds with a number pad. I use it on every website I go to.

I got insulted at another forum because it was apparently "a random jumble of numbers." If anyone needs to addres me, t20 is fine!

Actually I didn't come up with my nick by myself. It all hapened a long time ago when me and my pals used to play computer games on Amiga at my friend's place. Besides me there was one more guy with the same first name as me. So to know who we are talking to, we started using nicknames. And the funny thing is that they first started calling me Dreamweb behind my back, and that was because I often played Dreamweb the computer game. After some time they started addressing me with this name. I use it ever since but only online, nobody except those friends (a few of which I still have contact with) talks like that in person or even knows about it.

BTW I've always wanted do make a Dreamweb the game MOC made by Dreamweb... Perhaps one day I will. :classic:

HOB-147 is a V-19 Clone Pilot and a

member of the Light Brigade Division.

He's also the protagonist in the Clone

Wars Adventures: Volume 9 "Salvaged".

Needless to say, it was one of my favorite

comics issues.

I'm legitimate and my first name is actually Alex. Don't strain yourself too hard on this one.

Now that is a very legitimate response, but I can't help but think of this guy when I see your name.

What's it going to take in the 90's to burn the charts? Legit, either work hard or you might as well quit.

Yeah, whenever I say my name it pops to that song.

974Praf is a character in the Iain M Banks novel "look to windward", she is a bird species translator assigned to a visitor of a giant sentient tree floating in the atmosphere of a gas planet. makes more sense when you read the book :classic:

I just named myself as 974s predecessor, 973Praf. I always liked the name, after 4-LOM from Empire Strikes back its one of the few names I've found thats starts with numerics.

I've always used it on pretty much all non-work related online activity.

Well my actual name is Silvain, pronounced as Sil-ven, and one day a friend called me 'sen' for short so I used it as a online name.

I really like the character Cammy from Street Fighter, and kinda look a little bit like her too, so I have always called myself Cammy online.

The "§" in my name? It's called a Sedalia.

Since a sedalia looks like an "s", I decided to make my username "§edalia".

You can make a sedalia by holding "Alt" then pressing "2" and "1" on the numeric keyboard, in that order.

YOU'RE WELCOME!

It's just my nickname, Kiel + DaMan (slang for "The Man") = KielDaMan. It was just a silly name I made for my custom player in NBA Live video game, and from then on I've used this nickname in all the online forums/communities I've joined.

Artanis is a (male) protoss character from StarCraft, (also apparently another name for Tolkien's Galadriel). Someone once pointed out that it's Sinatra spelled backwards, but that's not why I chose it haha. I've used it for 10 years or so.

Unlike some, I don't look anything like who I'm named after... for starters I have more nostrils, haha.

Brickdoctor- Because I started out as a failed minifig customizer :cry_sad: , who 'doctors bricks'; and because it began as a screen name for my Bricklink account, which was originally a joint account for myself and my dad, who's a doctor. I thought it was clever at the time, but by the time it dawned on me that the name in no way fits my personality, I'd already been using it for over a year on other sites.

'Artifex' means 'artificer', 'craftsman', 'artist'. It is also the name of an entity that is 'the shaper of worlds' (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&defl=en&q=define:artifex&sa=X&ei=LDs2TJrdLcOOjAf56aWOBA&ved=0CBUQkAE).

I took the name from na old NPC (Non-Player Character) of mine in a(n) (Advanced, then) Dungeons and Dragons campaign. He was a drow (dark elf) very, very skilled with the sword and the perfect killer. His art? Swordfighting. He gave my players many nightmares till he finnaly dying in the very last game session, seven years after that campaign began - and fighting alongside good.

I was always fond of the name (and of the character), so I just use it in most forums I register in.

Team "Black Ice" was a paintball team I played on (very briefly) back in highschool. "Blackicep8ntball" became my email address, AIM sn, etc. and it has just stuck ever since. And yes, I know if you try to pronounce "p8ntball" it comes out as "pate-ntball", but hey, I was in highschool when I made it :classic:.

Ever since you joined, I've been wondering about that. And "irritated" at the pronunciation. default_tong.gif
