Jipay Posted April 23, 2004 Posted April 23, 2004 If found this by surfing on a seriouys website today !! Quote
jonfett Posted April 23, 2004 Posted April 23, 2004 Yeah, same for me. Comes up with the red cross and 'User posted image' Must be a problem with it. Jon. Quote
Jipay Posted April 23, 2004 Author Posted April 23, 2004 It's a rumour but here it is ! A new legend ! what do you think about this ? Quote
jonfett Posted April 23, 2004 Posted April 23, 2004 Hmmm, looks like it has been photo-shoped to me. I don't think it is a re-release. Looks like a nice set though :D Jon. Quote
ApophisV Posted April 23, 2004 Posted April 23, 2004 yes, that image looks faked or fan-made... Quote
jonfett Posted April 23, 2004 Posted April 23, 2004 Either that or Lego has decided to spend a little less time and money on box art, actually make that a lot less. :D Jon. Quote
Jipay Posted April 23, 2004 Author Posted April 23, 2004 yes it's a fake image but they said it wa sonly to illustrate the news... This website is really serious and is well know for it. They also have some exclusive shots of new sets Quote
jonfett Posted April 23, 2004 Posted April 23, 2004 Where can we find the news or pics of it. I am interested to know more about this set. Jon. Quote
Jipay Posted April 23, 2004 Author Posted April 23, 2004 This an old train set : follow this link for more informations link ;) Quote
ApophisV Posted April 23, 2004 Posted April 23, 2004 after this is cleared up, IMO it would make sense to rerelease (the better) train-sets, it looks like the train theme became once again more popular the last years... Quote
Jipay Posted April 23, 2004 Author Posted April 23, 2004 This is also my opinion. And when you see how the old train sets where good, you anderstand why they should release old sets Quote
jonfett Posted April 23, 2004 Posted April 23, 2004 Yeah, I agree! Trains are making a come back. I don't have many of the sets though, just the platform and a crossing set from a couple years back. I hope to buy more if there are new ones coming out though! Jon. Quote
ApophisV Posted April 23, 2004 Posted April 23, 2004 i've none... but the whole amount of town-themed sets i own is under ten... and the half of it are paradisa-sets my sister doesn't play with anymore... Quote
Jipay Posted April 23, 2004 Author Posted April 23, 2004 paradisia sets are good in my opinion. But some town sets are just awesome ! I'm trying to build a city but what I miss is space to expand it :( Quote
ApophisV Posted April 23, 2004 Posted April 23, 2004 but hte color-scheme of the paradisa sets wasn't really good... he he, when i searched for jonfett's fire station, i saw some nice town sets... maybe its a shame that i hadn't played with these, but on the other hand was i able to get more castle and pirate sets!!! ;) Quote
Jipay Posted April 23, 2004 Author Posted April 23, 2004 well I didi the same. I only ordered space castle and pirate sets when I was young. Today I regret it, I want more city sets ! Those were awesome ! Fortunatly my parents offered me a trainb set when I was 14 so I got few sets :) Quote
DoubleT Posted April 24, 2004 Posted April 24, 2004 Jipay is it confirmed that it is a Legend set? Quote
Jipay Posted April 24, 2004 Author Posted April 24, 2004 Not directly by lego yet. But you should consider this info as 80% sure Quote
Jipay Posted April 24, 2004 Author Posted April 24, 2004 on nedlug (famous for having the iinform Quote
Jipay Posted April 25, 2004 Author Posted April 25, 2004 I just hoep it is, this set is really good in my opinion Quote
jonfett Posted April 25, 2004 Posted April 25, 2004 Cool, it would be great if this was the next legend. But, weren't Lego going to let the public (by public I mean Lego community) choose the next one?? Anyhow, IF lego decides to go ahead and release all sets (not just licensed) with flesh figs then do you think the legends will too? It would kinda ruin the old classics though I guess. Jon. Quote
ApophisV Posted April 25, 2004 Posted April 25, 2004 oh no, THAT would be a very heavy mistake... i think that could ruin the whole company... Quote
