Solscud007 Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 So Target has re-released it's Lego Bullseye doggy gift card set. This time they added more pieces and call this a 3n1 set. One nice added feature is that the gift card is NOT the box anymore. Rather the bottom of the container has a slot that holds the gift card. No need to carry your $5 box around next time you go shopping at Target. The set isn't anything too exciting. But it is technically free. I cant find my original Bullseye dog but this one seems similar to the last one. Now they added pieces so you can make a Snowman or a Polar Bear. Quote
Big Cam Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 Cute. I really have little more to say. It looks like you've been shopping at Target. Quote
autobrick Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 Thanks for the quick review, Solscud007. All three models are fairly good for a free set, and you even get printed pieces! (This snowman reminds me of the 30008 Snowman). Target can't come to Canada soon enough... Quote

Veeb0rg Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 (edited) Looks like I'm heading to target today. I always enjoy these little sets, They make great stocking stuffers. Edited November 7, 2011 by Veeb0rg Quote
AFOL SF Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 ...went to Target yesterday around 9.30am only to find the gift card pegs empty. I checked with two store associates and customer service staff but couldn't tell me if they have any left or what... with one last try, located the floor supervisor (in-charge of cashiers) and ask about it... he said people were just grabbing multiples so they decided to 'keep' a box open at a time in the area for anyone who asks... so my suggestion is, if you don't find it - go look for a floor supervisor... no harm in asking... good hunting, you guys... Big Cam Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 I'm a little confused, you say the set is free, but then you mention a $5 box? Quote
Blondie-Wan Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 I'm a little confused, you say the set is free, but then you mention a $5 box? The set is part of a Target gift card. You can't just walk in and pick it up and walk out; you need to put a minimum of $5 on it, but then you can use that towards whatever other Target merchandise you like (such as other LEGO sets, for example). The result is that you'll have paid whatever the price is for the other merchandise, and you'll have gotten that merchandise plus this set, hence it's essentially free (or rather, free with purchase of $5 or more of anything else you want from Target). The head is identical, but the legs are a little different. So only a few pieces difference between the two. Quote

Vindicare Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 Checked my local Target yesterday, it's on back order, but the employee knew about them. She wasn't sure when they'd be in. Quote
Mr. Elijah Timms Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 Checked today, nothing in my local Target. Also read a story on ToysnBricks about Halloween polybags discounted to $.39... and they all were still ringing up as $3.99 in my store. Quote

Also read a story on ToysnBricks about Halloween polybags discounted to $.39... and they all were still ringing up as $3.99 in my store. No story ... I bought 90 polybags at Target yesterday for $0.39 apiece. 51 ninjas, 21 fire helicopters and 18 Atlantis subs. I paid for them using the Christmas giftcards. Free and cheap Lego for the win! Quote
Zeya Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 I was never able to find these last year, always sold out. I'm hoping there might be some way to order a handful of these online with free shipping; I have a feeling that might be the only way I could get my hands on these. By the way, I noticed the packaging has the "3 in 1" logo on it, like the Creator line has. Quote

That's odd, I bought a bunch of polybags least week and they were on sale for 1.99, but .39 just sounds like you got lucky. Quote
sharky Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 Wow, if I realized they'd be so hard to find I would have bought the 3 instead of just the 1. Quote
Veeb0rg Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 I just got back from my local target, I had to ask the people at the customer service desk but they had a whole case of em in the back still. Quote
