Jareth Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 So how many Nocturnusians are going to do Challenge 6? Man! I wanted too, but I've been suffering from a double dose of block....writer's block and building block. Come to think of it, the last story challenge I managed to work in builds that I had planned anyway (the river, the labrynth, the swamp and the demon) but now my planned builds are mostly for my town. Oh well, the important thing is to have fun and become a better builder.
Dr Rod Posted March 15, 2013 Posted March 15, 2013 One of Dr Rod's emissaries sent to check in with the Drow has returned, I doubt the other will be coming back any time soon. He reported that construction is going well in the Drow's new city and provided some very descriptive sketches and water colours of the new builds. The Drow still love their red buildings, rumoured to be engrained with the blood of tight wearers. No tights here! :) But a nice big bridge!! And a drow garden, hopefully the Drow have not gotten too influenced by those forest dwelling folk to the West. Dr Rod
Brickington Posted March 15, 2013 Posted March 15, 2013 Wait, is this for CH. 6 or is this a free build? And this could make for a new enemy after CH. 6. Drow returns only to get their a$$ kicked!
kabel Posted March 15, 2013 Posted March 15, 2013 what a shame Angeli is still banned. I really hope the mods will eventually allow him to return because I really miss his trash talk and of course I miss kicking some serious drow butt
Dr Rod Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 Wait, is this for CH. 6 or is this a free build? And this could make for a new enemy after CH. 6. Drow returns only to get their a$$ kicked! It is stuff Angeli has been working on for his new Drow city, not Ch6 entry.
Maxim I Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 @Angeli: Long live our traderelations!!! Didn't expected such a fast result, but it is amazing!!
Artanis I Posted March 18, 2013 Posted March 18, 2013 Impressive sketches Dr Rod, thanks for sharing. Good to see the blood of those Avalonians is good for something, and that those drow are still building on an impressive scale and using some nice techniques with their ornate constructions. I like that garden & weapon store. The "bridge guardian" looks familiar too.
I Scream Clone Posted March 18, 2013 Author Posted March 18, 2013 Nice to see Dr Rod is keeping us informed of the goings on in Drow lands. I come with tidings that I have stepped down as History Moderator, I hope in time it will grant more time to again build in Historica. Perhaps it truly is time to rise up and crown a new lord of Nocturnus? Maybe after the Ch 6 builds are done, we can run a topple The Lord vignette mini-challenge?
Captain BeerBeard Posted March 18, 2013 Posted March 18, 2013 @ISC That's a great idea. Is it open to all guilds?
Legonardo Posted March 18, 2013 Posted March 18, 2013 @ISC That's a great idea. Is it open to all guilds? haha, but really is it?
Dr Rod Posted March 18, 2013 Posted March 18, 2013 @ISC That's a great idea. Is it open to all guilds? I would think that one would have to be a Nocturnian to challenge Lord Ssilyrrlith for the rule of Nocturnus. How many power hungry turn coats are out there I wonder... Dr Rod
Brickington Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 @DRod There's for sure a couple. I would think that one would have to be a Nocturnian to challenge Lord Ssilyrrlith for the rule of Nocturnus. How many power hungry turn coats are out there I wonder... Dr Rod @ISC That's a great idea. Is it open to all guilds? haha, but really is it? Why don't you guys just have your sig-figs spend a couple of days in Nocturnus and claim them as Nocturnians and then try to enter the mini-challenge. And if you don't win, just come back to your home land. Seriously speaking, why would you want to be a Nocturnian, even if you were the leader? Avalonia is where it's all at baby!
Dr Rod Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 I guess the drow will rule supreme after all Maybe... or maybe not. They are building up a new city somewhere east of Nocturnus. Dr Rod
Rogue Angel Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 I guess the drow will rule supreme after all This would be the biggest reason to occupy Nocturnus. The Elves have considered it for a long while - It would be the perfect base from which to assault the drow.
Legonardo Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 They would not be welcome. they'll make themselves welcome.
Dr Rod Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 Elves are welcome to visit Nocturnus. I can give them a special guided tour of my basement if they want.
Rogue Angel Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 They would not be welcome. When the residents of Nocturnus take it upon themselves to control the Drow menace instead of negotiating and catering to them, then the Elves won't be required to take matters in to their own hands. Perhaps the current power vacuum in Nocturnus will be the perfect opportunity for a little house cleaning.
Captain BeerBeard Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 Looks like the mighty (trumpets!) Zakon GoldBlade will rule two guilds soon.
Brickington Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 Looks like the mighty (trumpets!) Zakon GoldBlade will rule two guilds soon. How?
Infernum Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 they'll make themselves welcome. Then when both guilds have been weaked by the fighting, Mitgardia will charge in and claim both!
SkaForHire Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 And then finally, DaMaximus will rule the whole world!!!! Muhahahahahaha Kaliphlin plans always take the longest to unfold, but they are often the greatest success stories.
