kabel Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 no way, we're too chilled too be easily fooled by hot blooded head-less Kaliphlins! *sings: Rule Mitgardia, Mitgardia rules the seas ...*
SkaForHire Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 In my mind that anthem fits Avalonia... but we all know Mitgardia and Kaliphlin have much larger navies! So I guess it will have to be a Mitgardian anthem, because we just don't care about controlling water, we just like to stea.... erm... buy your stuff!
Dr.Cogg Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 I think most of you other guilds would get lost in the maze and end up getting eaten by monsters or find a corner to curl up and cry.
Maxim I Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 I think most of you other guilds would get lost in the maze and end up getting eaten by monsters or find a corner to curl up and cry. Indeed, and if enemies want to cross the border in the South of the Keldra Labyrinth (so the border between Kaliphlin and Nocturnus) they will have to go through small paths in the Rakath Mountains, a region completely controlled by the I.A.M.S. (and it is a public secret they are good friends with Nocturnus). And in the North of the Keldra Labyrinth, Nocturnus has the fine Drow, Dr. Rod, and some others
Balthasar Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 We could have fancy tournaments, talent shows or election. But we all know that the price goes to the highest bidder. I believe kaliphlins have a good shot at the title here, lord damaxmus. Just make sure to poison all your brothers and sisters, like in good nocturnian tradition
Dr Rod Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 And in the North of the Keldra Labyrinth, Nocturnus has the fine Drow, Dr. Rod, and some others Dr Rod is not a Drow, but he is rather chummy with them. Dr Rod is an ex Avalonian who is self exiled to Nocturnus as his alchemical ways were not very well appreciated within Avalonia (mostly because of the amount of human blood required). Dr Rod

Dr Rod It was more meant like: The Drow & Dr Rod @Balthasar We still have to keep our fame high, so killing my Kaliphlin brothers or sisters is not really an option
gedren_y Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 I think Dr. Rod would enjoy the company of the fleshmage Neord Bloodmane. He is being considered for the possition of Nestlands Emissary to the Nocturnus Court, whatever it turns out to be after the big fight.
Artanis I Posted April 2, 2013 Posted April 2, 2013 Big fight? If this is in reference to an invading army (that wouldn't even get past the mountains if by some fluke they manage to navigate to them) it's more like big joke. One does not simply walk into Nocturnus...
gedren_y Posted April 2, 2013 Posted April 2, 2013 We in the Nestlands of course mean by 'big fight' the toppling of Revolword. Neord intends to turn many of those Hand of Corruption creatures into rotten meat with his fleshblade. There is now a small band of Nocturnians in Cobalt Vale. Two of their number are werewolves who have been trading mountain cat carcasses for goods. The MInister of External Affairs enjoyed his slow cooked northern mountain cat.
Jareth Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 Sigh, Once again I have bitten off more than my collection can support. Where are all of my 1x2 plates? Well, I'm pretty sure I can make this idea work, just not as perfect as I would like. I'm working on a combined elf/forestman base.
Jareth Posted April 4, 2013 Posted April 4, 2013 Ok, here's some WIP pics You know, now that I have pics I feel a lot better about the Imperfections. I wanted the interior to be compeltely yellow, but the brown patches are ok. I also Don't like the odd patches of grey and white (and red and blue) on the floors, but those were necessary for SNOT technique. I think they will be less visible when the rooms are furnished.
Gideon Posted April 4, 2013 Posted April 4, 2013 Ok, here's some WIP pics [...] Looks interesting! Nice rounding and impressive scale, is it going to be a giant tree?
Jareth Posted April 4, 2013 Posted April 4, 2013 Looks interesting! Nice rounding and impressive scale, is it going to be a giant tree? Yes, it's going to be a forestmen/elf base
Maxim I Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 (edited) Those who read the first part of my entry (Not really an unexpected journey) will know that Lord Damaximus will besiege Cedrica. So to all the great Lords, mages, ... of Nocturnus who want to join our army, feel free to do it! Just post a painting (aka picture) of a bunch of soldiers/monsters together and you are in! (post it in my Chal VI topic) I am not going to make another epic battle again, so they will just be mentionned in the story Ofcourse, those who join me will have a great advantage when I am becoming emperor reduction the next time they buy something in my city deadline: 20 April note to The Order: the time has come Edited April 13, 2013 by Damaximus
Devorath Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 Uhhh, can I still join this guild? And if so, is this the right place to sign up?
Dr Rod Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 Uhhh, can I still join this guild? And if so, is this the right place to sign up? Sure! Not sure how many Nocturnites are left though... Last challeng is due in a week so you might have missed the boat... I intend to keep Nocutrnus alive for a long time with MOCs though and who knows where we will take things... Dr Rod
Dr Rod Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 It is so quiet... must be trouble brewing... Dr Rod
Infernum Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 Ooh! A great looking build Dr. Rod! I wonder what's brewing in nocturnus?...
Dr Rod Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 Ooh! A great looking build Dr. Rod! I wonder what's brewing in nocturnus?... Trouble. Dr Rod
Rogue Angel Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 Dr Rod has used the Dragon Soldiers since before they were determined as Avalonia's standard troop.
Dr Rod Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 Dr Rod has used the Dragon Soldiers since before they were determined as Avalonia's standard troop. Yeah, had them onside for ages (or at least 18 months :) ).. For those that don't want to read back a few hundred posts: Dr Rod was exiled from the nation of tight-wearing folk as his alchemical experiments were a bit too unwholesome for their delicate sensitivities. He took with him the meanest, nastiest and foulest of the dragon knights and soldiers, chucked a red belt and plume on them and the rest is history. Dr Rod
Dr Rod Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 We Nocturnites have our lovely lava to keep us warm! Dr Rod
Hyler Talliwell Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 And our nice fetid swamps. (Still around and prowling, but focused on some Brickworld stuff.)
