Simon_S Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 I did some more army building, I like it sometimes even more than building. I just pimped my old ones a bit: Wow! Very impressive! Looks like I really should get some of this yellow dragon stuff
Sirens-of-Titan Posted August 3, 2012 Author Posted August 3, 2012 Great works so far everyone! I have a good feeling about this round.
Torgar Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 My entry to challenge IV is up! http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=72711 This is my first entry to the GoH, I would appreciate any comments as I would like to improve my building skills and techniques. Thank you!
kabel Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 Great works so far everyone! I have a good feeling about this round. Yeah, I actually feel the same, some really high quality stuff our members have put out so far! @Torgar: Great first entry for Mitgardia! I'll comment on it later today
Umbro Stormborn Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 Hey all! I have to get a new account because of an email change, the new account is simply Evan D, just figured I'd let people know so there was no confusion.
Sirens-of-Titan Posted August 8, 2012 Author Posted August 8, 2012 Hey all! I have to get a new account because of an email change, the new account is simply Evan D, just figured I'd let people know so there was no confusion. I strongly recommend you don't do that since EB has a no tolerance policy of multiple accounts and may ban you. There are ways to edit the email options on your existing account, and if you just want a name change you can do that as well. PM me if you need any help with this.
soccerkid6 Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 The Challenge 4 winner will be decided by a vote again, correct? Also in the survey quite a few people said they wanted scores to be more transparent, as in everyone can see what each entry/freebuild (when they are judged) scored, or at least the top 5 from each guild in order of highest score to lowest. Will anything like that be done? Personally I'm for it

In hindsight, that is what i should have done, but i didn't know that i could. I think that my cousin will take control of that account, so he may PM you about name changes and stuff, I just wish that I had waited for a response, but thanks for the help anyway.
Angeli Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 The Challenge 4 winner will be decided by a vote again, correct? Also in the survey quite a few people said they wanted scores to be more transparent, as in everyone can see what each entry/freebuild (when they are judged) scored, or at least the top 5 from each guild in order of highest score to lowest. Will anything like that be done? Personally I'm for it I do not think that is a good idea, that puts guildleaders in position where they have to explain every decision and score, if they be leaders, let them be that all the way, and we will have to trust their wisdom and ...I am searching for the word, when you are not bias :) ah, "nepristrastnost" on my language :) In any way, the point of the guilds should be playing, building, making fun (pillaging Avalonian villages is SO fun, you should try it:))), and I think that strict scoring system would ruin that. Evidently, the highest scoring guild is the most active one, and the lowest is the best one (heh:) ok, the least active one. So, activity in: making fun, merrymaking, building, presentation, inventing stories and events (like arena, archery, political advertising, song writing, commerce and similar) are the thing that actually bring points. So, if you want your guild to prosper, make an assassination point on your guild leader (instant-Nocturnus:)), make some type of game, discover new area/race/artifact, write a story, adventure, have a baby (there are NO new babies in Historica!!:))), make a war/friendship act/ bounty hunting trip and keep on doing that until your guild is in lead ;) Scoring should stay privilege for the guildleaders. It is ok to replace guildleaders if you have an antagonist capable enough and army strong enough :)

The challenge builds we can ask for our score which works well in my opinion. But the free builds we don't know anything except what our guild totaled over the 2 month period. I just like to know what I scored/how to improve. Even if they just let you know your score on request like they do for the challenges with a limit of 2 freebuilds per scoring of them so they don't have a ton of PMing to do. Just voicing what seemed to be the opinion of quite a few others in the survey. If the guild leaders want to keep doing it the way they have that's OK as they have done an incredible job Edited August 9, 2012 by soccerkid6

I suppose that will do, just transfer or delete your old account so that you don't get banned for having 2 separate accounts on EB.

I can't find the delete button, so I'll probably just change the email to my cousin's and have him change the password.

Legonardo Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 (pillaging Avalonian villages is SO fun, you should try it:))), putting aside the fact that you end up a life-less waste of space. But i do agree with Angeli on all points bar this one.

Savage Sebstian Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 (edited) I tried uploading my Mitgardian figure but it was too big? I am not familiar with photo editing. Edited August 12, 2012 by Savage Sebstian
Angeli Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 I tried uploading my Mitgardian figure but it was too big? I am not familiar with photo editing. use program named paint, every windows should have one :) open a picture in it, and type ctrl+w and type something like 40 and 40 into STRECH both vertical and horisontal - type any number you like (it is a %), but it should be the same numbers just save it (ctrl+s) and that is that :)
