great minds think alike...

gate

That looks great man! I'll try to make mine look different than yours.

What are some good colors for Cedrica? I was thinking red and blue. At the lego store they had a ton of red and blue slopes, so I got some. I was thinking they could make cool tent-like thingies.

Right, and too much Red and Blue may look Kaliphlinian... It seems like the King is almost all Dark Red. And.... just DAMN!!!! Legonardo, that thing looks masterful.

Please Susan Jr. By all means TAKE YOUR FLIPPIN' TIME. It would be disheartening for the rest of us if you became the first premature winner the Guild's have ever had. It's too beautiful.

So when should we expect the life-size Helm's Deep? You obviously have a hoard of the set.

Yup, America is well behind most other countries when it comes to food, they throw a bunch of chemicals together then eat it

Luckily I live on a farm where we grow lots of our own food, even have home made bread

@legonardo: Have you made much more progress on the gate yet?

I'll snap a WIP shot of my entry today, not looking like much yet but getting there :classic:

@SkaforHire: Thanks, the stream is only in it's first stage, there will be a waterfall at the beginning and I'll be adding to the river quite a bit.

Anyone have a guess as to what kind of building(s) I'll incorporate and where? There's a hint in the pic

Victor Revolwords fortress? :look:

Looks to me like you'll be putting buildings raised above the ground over on the right. Or am I just fooled by all that white and yellow (wow, man, you have tons!).

Yes, one of his anyways.

Fooled by the white and yellow  I do have a lot of it, I have a lot of bricks in black, red, blue, white, and yellow. White and yellow have the most though, here a pic of the tub that holds my white and yellow pieces (minus snowscape parts) it was nearly full: http://brickbuilt.tk/Castle/2013/Revolword's-Fortress/tub.JPG

I'm going to guess the northern bridge and gate of Cedrica.

Wrong, it is located somewhere in Avalonia. I'll wait for a few more guesses then show the layout of the buildings

@ SK: That looks great so far! I have no guess to what it'll be other than the Fortress of The Brick Separator... Well I do see some orange/ red thing to the right of it.

Posted (edited)

@Infernum: Thanks, the orange thing is what's left of my FAPC entry.

I'll post a pic of the building layout later today, it's inspired by SoT :classic:

Edit: wip2.JPG

I'm quite a bit farther than that now.

More progress, the tower is 99.9% done, now it's just the landscaping and main building:

wip3.JPG

Hoping to finish a few days before February 19. Then I'm going to Florida for a few days to visit my grandpa,

It will be my first flight and on the way back we're coming into Rochester so I might make it to the LEGO store there, even have a giftcard for there :sweet:

Can't wait to see it finished SK! I assume you mean Rochester, NY... had there been a Lego store there when I lived in NW PA, my car would have had a lot more miles on it! Nice to see the expansion of Lego Stores all over the place.

Your first flight? It's fun... actually I don't think I could count all the times I've flown...

Anyway it looks great! Can't wait to see it finished but the bridge over the river was a great idea!

I'm looking forward to flying. Thanks, the bridge features a design I haven't seen before that I really like hence the aerial photo so you can't see it

That was some quick work.

What part of Florida: Panhandle, North, North-Central, Central, South-Central, South or Keys? I'm in North-Central. We've got sunny skies today.
