Rogue Angel Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 Kaliphlin has always struck me as the most self sufficient guild. I hadn't thought guild leader guidance was that necessary for you guys. You've been doing a great job of creating individual cities and events and then having multiple members intertwine them in their builds and storylines.
gedren_y Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 Agreed, our Guildleader should stay, but he does need help. We need to figure out how that is going to work soon. Due to RL issues I haven't been able to do any appreciable building in the last two weeks, and I may loose my current building space next weekend. Because of this my Anticlimax story is on hold until official Ch 6 cannon voting is done. Visiting Herbologists is nearly complete (landscaping has been a *****), but parts issues have made me change some of the planned story. @Damaximus: I believe my primary characters are made of parts that are prohibitively expensive. The ones that are known to have traveled to Mpya Stedor shouldn't be, though.
Mike S Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 Guys, I need some help. I need a large number of these: Plant Leaves 6 x 5 Swordleaf with Clip in regular green http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemPic.asp?P=30239. Anywhere in the US I can get them cheaper than $0.34?
ZCerberus Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 this is probably a better question for the buy/sell forum. Where are you located Masa and how many are you looking for?
SkaForHire Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 My discovery center had some a couple weeks ago I believe, I will go check tomorrow for you.
Mike S Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 (edited) this is probably a better question for the buy/sell forum. Where are you located Masa and how many are you looking for? I'm in FL and I need a minimum of 90 and a max of 135. I posted here because I know Guild members have helped out with parts before. Edited June 4, 2013 by Masa of Kaliphlin

Si-MOCs Posted June 4, 2013 Author Posted June 4, 2013 So, how shall we best find a Lord Regent of Kaliphlin (LRoK)? While I could simply appoint someone to rule, I feel it is more of the Kaliplin way for suitors to win over the the hearts (and purses) of the great Merchants and Lords of Siccus badlands. And a great assembly of Kaliphlin should be be convened so that we shall vote on the first LRoK ? -- Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Working directly with Dex/others to ensure smooth operation of governing of the Guild affairs. Potentially participation in future planning of possible hypothetical event(s) and challenge(s) Tying Dex's shoes.
Maxim I Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 (edited) I think Lord Max Samu will volonteer for it He is the Lord of Everlast and the head of an important Kaliphlin intelligence agency (The I.A.M.S.), so that should do the trick edit: And he has enough slaves to ty Lord Dextrus' shoes Lord Damaximus himself has too many things going on right now @Ska: are you still planning to do something with those heroes you once assembled after the death of Dugal? Yes, we must have a great assembly of Kaliphlin and those who think they have what it takes to be the first Lord Rok <--- (how I will formally refer to said person ) must step forward so that all of Kaliphlin can vote.

Mike S Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 (edited) can non-Kaliplhlinites votes against certain candidates they might find evil...? Masa feels strongly that non-Kaliphlins should not be allowed to vote. However it is possible that certain Kaliphlin lords such as Shiek Abdul-Mughni could be bribed to vote as non-Kaliphlins wish. Also for those who are volunteering for the position of Lord Rok, it would be great if you posted a character MOC showing your character in some sort of setting. (just trying to get Kaliphlin more free builds) So be patriotic and show us our candidates for Lord Roc. Edited June 4, 2013 by Masa of Kaliphlin
Maxim I Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 can non-Kaliplhlinites votes against certain candidates they might find evil...? Why is everyone finding Lord Max Samu evil? For Kaliphlin, he already did some really good jobs Masa feels strongly that non-Kaliphlins should not be allowed to vote. Mike S Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 (edited) Why is everyone finding Lord Max Samu evil? Everyone? I only heard one Avalonian voice so far and everyone knows Avalonian's think anyone having dealings with Nocturnus is evil... hence coining their own term Evilonia. Masa may not think that Lord Max Samu is the best candidate but not because he thinks he is evil but because it is in his interests to maintain peace between Kaliphlin and Avalonia. (remember Masa/ formerly known as Mikel Kalores is an Avalonian immigrant. While Masa, having given up his Avalonian name for a Kaliphlin one, no longer has any dealings with Avalonia, Bishop Jamon still uses Avalonia as recruiting grounds for the Order of Aslan. Because he anticipates the eventual frown from Avalonian Lords on this practice, Bishop Jamon has begun to establish a permanent base in Kaliphlin instead of Avalonia. It is even rumored that his brother actually kidnaps Avalonians into service for the order. Note that Bishop Jamon and his brother are at odds on how the Order of Aslan should be run and the rift between them is ever widening.) Edited June 4, 2013 by Masa of Kaliphlin

CBB made his whole Chal VI entry about how bad Lord Max Samu is for this world But I do have to admit that maybe for our traderelations with Avalonia, Lord Max Samu would be not such a good choice. Now I think about it, didn't CBB blew up our traderelations already by blockading the traderoutes? Hmm, so Lord Max Samu is maybe the best choice

Mike S Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 Kaliphlin (desert tribes)men who are crossing the border to Avalonia? They must have been under the sun for too long Dang this computer is slow. I tried to edit clarification right away but you beat me to the reply. It wasn't the human tribes as they are afraid to enter Antyria. It was the Mummy Tribes that liked to go to Antyria on vacation every so often usually during the night. Kind of scared some Antyrian's as well as damaging Zakon's pretty flowers so Zakon overeacted... anyway thats what I heard

Those mummified bastards!!! Worst part of all, thanks to Robuko (Dr. Leibnitz), I can't invite the mummies to my city as I only have one mummy in my collection One and a half! Actually I'm not sure. At least one... @Si (both this and your last comment), your sort of do-what-you-like leadership has been very nice. And it's been cool seeing how well the guild sticks together. Plus you've done a great job in general of keeping the ball rolling (eg. Petraea University was is awesome!). Lord Regent is a good name, I'm not exactly sure how we should choose one... I do think it would be nicer to do something other/more than a normal vote, something with a Kaliphlin twist. I can't seem to think of anything now though... Anyway, I would run, though I'm not sure with what character yet (probably Ageven as he's very well traveled and doesn't seem to favor one guild over another... ). As far as allowing not Kaliphlins to vote, if we do their votes shouldn't count for as much. Though that might be hard to go about doing... say three points for each Kaliphlin vote (though they can't divide them up), and one for non-Kaliphlins. And five for Flagg...
Mike S Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 I have quite a few but I seperated them into two clans: the white normal mummies and the grey, red eyed evil mummies. I bet it was the evil mummies that went to Antyria thinking they were going to Evilonia. As far as allowing not Kaliphlins to vote, if we do their votes shouldn't count for as much. Though that might be hard to go about doing... say three points for each Kaliphlin vote (though they can't divide them up), and one for non-Kaliphlins. And five for Flagg... And they have to vote under a Kaliphlin name... hence the bribing a Kaliphlin lord
Maxim I Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 Maybe no non-Kaliphlin votes, it would be too expensive to bribe non-Kaliphlin members as well Nope, only one But I do have 2 Tusken Raiders (they can count as a quarter mummy because they look a bit like a mummy...)
