gedren_y Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 (edited) That was just Artorious's throne room, the Great Hall is where the feasts are held and where the Table Of The Brotherhood Of Avalonia is located. I should build a round table really , but that would be too predictable. However I do like the Round table in the movie 'First Knight' where all the members lay their swords down upon it. Still a round table is all very well and fitting with our Avalonian feel, but they are a bugger to build properly and it would need to be big enough to fit all our members seated around it , so maybe a long rectangle one or one shaped like a sword. Even better, one shaped like a Dragon! - now that would be a pain to build! As to the table you could do a semi-circular cut-out table like this: Guild Table 01 by gedren_y, on Flickr Guild Table 02 by gedren_y, on Flickr You could have anyone with something to say stand in the middle and address the whole group. You could make the table with as many sections, and as long as you need. You could also have a place near the entrance for laying down arms, so that warriors in the midst of heated debate do not go for weapons to settle disputes. Edited June 6, 2012 by gedren_y

ZCerberus Posted June 7, 2012 Posted June 7, 2012 Wow. I noticed you made a new construction in front of the city entrance. We definetely need more pics. You'll have to wait until after its debut at Brickworld. It isn't anything too special, but I don't want a big reveal 'till it gets a showing there first.
de Gothia Posted June 7, 2012 Posted June 7, 2012 Thanks guys! Have to buy some of them, once bricklink is ok again!
Captain BeerBeard Posted June 7, 2012 Posted June 7, 2012 @ZC I can't wait to see that. That gate was huge before the addition. Did you figure out an easy transport method for that?
ZCerberus Posted June 8, 2012 Posted June 8, 2012 @ZC I can't wait to see that. That gate was huge before the addition. Did you figure out an easy transport method for that? Well I did manage to get it from my basement to my kitchen... the upper levels of the gatehouse are removable, so it isn't TOO bad to move it.
Legonardo Posted June 9, 2012 Posted June 9, 2012 my entry to the commerce challenge Captain Susan 100! looks amazing!

Hyler Talliwell Posted June 9, 2012 Posted June 9, 2012 I look forward to poring over every detail of that creation in person.
NiceMarmot Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 ZC -- I can just hear your captain of the guard, yelling: "OK, who's the wise guy that stole half our bridge! O'Reilly! What did you do with the bridge?" Have fun at BrickWorld you all. We expect lot of pictures!
ZCerberus Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 "OK, who's the wise guy that stole half our bridge! O'Reilly! What did you do with the bridge?" I guess they didn't read the "detour ahead" sign. Surprising considering the soldiers are from Mesodraconem. It is supposed to have the best schools in the land!
de Gothia Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 Home again from the border as you commanded my Liege! Glad to be home again...
