I urge you all to come up with a name for each of your mocs, as this will make it easier for our Cartographers, who are hard at work creating the map for our land. For example, I have named my upcoming village 'Durnovaria' and it will be situated outside the capital to the east. If you would like your buildings/mocs on our map then I suggest you give them a proper name and state where you would like it to be located. Although we will probably have to see an empty version of the map first, so we can then work out where our builds will be placed. I will leave this in the map makers hands for the moment.

All right, I'll name mine "Bricdocton" because I'm so creative. On this map, it would be situated somewhere between the Avalonian lower windmill and the Avalonian forest. It's on the edge of the forest, inhabited by Forestmen in the forest and normal peasants in the plains portion of the village. It's also home to a number of the army's engineers and a sort of invention guild and workshop.

I was just going trough the forum, and found this:

6332033332_d7dbc8bd0a_b.jpg

The whole page can be found here named "Prince Maerendil on Findelhuv – Leaving the Beloved for Jousting" by "Wardancer"

Due to the choosing of the colors, he is a real avalonian in the hart, even if he does not know this :)

btw, all you avalonians should be in a 'pink stars' lady group :p

Greetings fellow Guildsmen! I bring to you, your Champion!! Grymish Fireheart, Paladin of the Invisible Citadel faces off against rival and fellow Paladin, Lord Ricvak of the Elves in the famed Sundown Duel; a longtime tradition of the Paladins! The crowd gathers and cheers on their favourite as the two formidable warriors joust!

dsc01154.jpg

The Crowd, all the women are forbidden to even watch this joust as it is the Sundown Duel. No gambling is allowed either or its to the executioner...

dsc01149.jpg

Grymish Fireheart expertly dodging Ricvak's pike and slamming his into his Elven Mithril, not hard enough to break any bones, but enough to de-mount him.

dsc01152.jpg

Lord Ricvak disorientated from the fall off his horse. Note that he prefers a Round shield compared to Fireheart's oblong shield.

dsc01155.jpg

Grymish taking a victory lap around the crowd holding up Ricvak's helmet on his pike. Note Fireheart's pike is also the same colour as his helmet: light blue.

This is for the Champion of Avalonia title, have a nice day Guildsmen! :sweet:

de Gothia- Your Balista is briliant- very easy, but good looking design! And you remind me that we have to build a nice siege weapon too!

Champion of Avalonia is done my liege. Pictures coming soon.

By the way, how do you earn titles like 'inventor of the spy glass', 'dragon lord' or 'commander of the capital, and do these count as on of your seven titles you need to be in the secret feasting hall.

They are given out depending on different things, Lordsofdragonss is Orc commander because of his Orcish horde, mattman is Vengeful Outlaw because of his vig of a Forestmen killing a Nocturnus etc. I don't think they count toward your total 7 titles.

What do people think of my Champion? Yes I am just trying to get comments

It is a questionable honour, being mentioned by a master of drow.

I am indeed an Avalonian at heart and my army bears its colours. Most of it unfortunately is and will be of the custom clan, which cannot make an appearance in matters of the guilt due its rules (which are perfectly reasonable, as they guarantee the coherence that makes the whole guilt thing fun). As soon as I shift my focus towards elven buildings, for which customizing is not necessary, I will become an active Avalonian to defend its sacred forests. Until then, I shall do as Elves always have: Hide in the dark green shadows, gather wisdom about the busy mortals in their ambitious guild endevours, grow as the roots of the sacred oak and shoot a well-aimed arrow every now and then to remind men and orc and drow that something very old is watching them.

I saw this joust the other day, my liege, and I shall now show you some pics

The crowd seems very happy with the result

I hope this gains me the title of champion of Avalonia.

Here i represent you the Avalonian Great Bombard. A great cannon designed by genious avalonian engineers and manufactured by avaloanian dwarfs. This is my creation for my Siege Master title.

Do i deserve a title of "Inventor of black powder siege weapons" :D

One of the other guilds has already fielded primitive cannon.

We should probably clarify, how advanced is gunpowder technology at this time? I'm going to assume this is around the 14th or 15th century, when early gunpowder weapons are present, but not advanced enough to reliably replace swords, pikes, bows, and various types of catapults.

I live in denial.. I hope it´s much earlier. Like 1100-1200.. :classic:

edit: great moc timura!! But I´m not sure begging for titles is the way to go...

I have read in another guilds (possible in kaliprin) topic that the cannons are limited to primitive ones and gunpower weapons (cannons, primitive rifles) could only be used by dwarfs.

Thank you! But,

I meant it as a joke therefore i put a loughing smiley at the end of the sentence.

At the end it is a subjective choice of our guild leader ofcourse. I will continue to try hard for our guild im sure i can earn some "interesting" titles for myself :)

The royal cartographers are hard at work, no worries guildsmen! We have already considered what you have posted, but if you have a specific placement for your watchtower/town, please let us know through this thread or PM, so we can be as accurate as possible. There are already so many structures/establishments to place, it's kind of overwhelming! More coming soon!

PM sent. thanks for the hard work

I have finished my Siege Machine only seen in Avalonian armies! I present to you, fellow guildsmen the Volleyer!

The Volleyer is used to take out archers from the battlements with its rapid firing rate and 360 degrees swivelling!

dsc01156.jpg

Compact and small, the Volleyer can traverse any terrain in any type of weather.

dsc01157.jpg

Foliage attached to the sides acts as camouflage in the Siege.

dsc01158.jpg

The back has space to store a bow, here, it is storing my special Panik bow.

dsc01160.jpg

We are ready!!

Hope this gets me the siege master title. What do my fellow guildsmen think of this?

Meet Dekster, also know as the Dark Passenger of Avalonia, one of Avalonia's executioners. After a confirmation of their unforgivable crimes, he himself hunts down his victims. Say goodbye to your life when you happen to end up on his table.

With this creation I apply for the Lord High Executioner title.
