narbilu Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 (edited) Sorry narbilu, but Circardia (watchtower 5 in the Enchanted Forest) already is the responsibility of Arlindus and my Phoenix Guard. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=62116&view=findpost&p=1129966 I also believe the center part of the Mystic Isle have been claimed as well by Brickdoctor Of course Circardia is a haven for those who wish to put their past behind them and we always welcome new inhabitants It is not that I claim the complete erea, we of Hemresa Legion just secure the road between the main land and the Enchanted Forest. A save passage for travelers and merchants. At both ends of the road we positioned watchtowers and inns. So are you saying that your legion protects the gates to the Mystic Isles? This is fine, however I don't think you will be able to own all of the Mystic Isles as your land, as many others also inhabit this area, its a big place. However, if your legion has taken up the brave task of being the gatekeepers of the Mystic Isle's main road, that is indeed a brave honour. My Legion is at your disposal, we are honoured to protect and be the keepers of the Mystic Isles main road. Edited December 6, 2011 by narbilu
de Gothia Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 Welcome rogueang! Great to see another strong soldier joining the Guild! I have a question, do the rivers in Avalonia got their names yet? The river part that runs through my county, will it have the same name as the large one? How should we do?
Captain Blackmoor Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 Antyria is the land where the A.T.C. will establish the main office of administration, and the rest of the fertile land will be occupied with production buildings like grain farms and lumber mills. We will also try to create a harbour to use the river as a trade route as well. With all the wood present in this area that shouldn't be a problem. At least, if the Avalonia Trading Company gets permission to build on this land, that is. The reason to pick this land is because there is already an A.T.C. watchtower here.
MikeyB Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 It is not that I claim the complete erea, we of Hemresa Legion just secure the road between the main land and the Enchanted Forest. A save passage for travelers and merchants. At both ends of the road we positioned watchtowers and inns. my apologies that I misunderstood you. Since Circardia, is at the end of the road in the Enchanted Forest, we could welcome an entrepreneurial enterprise such as yours as I'm sure we will mutually benefit from trade and news.
MikeyB Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 For two years, I have watched the rise of Avalonia's new inhabitants. There have been many who have crossed through this realm, as a squirrel would flit through a tree, but this guild appears to be more permanent with eyes to the future, and roots in the ways of honor, bravery and peace. For this reason,I have chosen to reveal my clan. I am Varis of the Line of Dellaenus, Servant of the White Hart, Protector of the Sacred Grove, Lord of the Rustling Leaves Clan. My clan resides deep in the center of the Enchanted Forest. Long have we expected humans to extend their branches deeper into Avalonia. We are willing to trade crafts and weapons of our clan, offer counsel if required, and provide elven archers and rangers if the cause is just. (I am very excited about this guild. I love some of the creations, and I hope to have a stronghold completed by the 15th. The Rustling Leaves Clan resides just below the word Forest where the river meets the coast, if this is still available) Welcome Varis (and rougeang!) I Arlindus, Captain of Circardia and the Phoenix Guard (number 5 on the map), welcome our neighbors. We look forward to a fruitful and long relationship with the Rustling Leaves Clan. We offer some of the finest meads and honey, fine meats and fish, excellent craftsmen and of course, aid if required. We invite your clan craftsmen to trade in Circardia with our people. Many of my Phoenix Guard are trained in the way of the forest and are excellent swords men and archers, a skill learned from neighboring elven clans.
Doornroosje Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 Kariny Rhiannon, young Green Rider (elite messenger of Avalonia) is on her way to Albion to pledge her alliance to the Guild of Avalonia with her horse Chestnut. She is al little bit late, because she was on her first long mission (after a 3 years apprentiship) that took her to the far regions of Historica. She hopes she is not too late to join.(The character is inspired by the Green Riders in the fantasy books of Kristin Britain) The Green Riders The famous elite messengers that serve the Guild of Avalonia, they are also excellent swordsmen and women and known for their tracking and wilderness survival skills. It is also rumored that each Green Rider has its own kind of small magic, which enables them to complete difficult dangerous missions. Their horses are famous for their endurance and are without doubt the fastest horses in Historica. The horses are a crossbreed between the famous noble horses of Kaliphin and the sturdy forest ponies of Avalonia. The Green Riders are respected as honourable messengers in Historica. The Green Riders have their main headquarters in the city of Albion, where the chief Messenger resides and where each Green Riders have to report after their mission and new assignments are planned. Besides their headquarters, they have a large stable on the great green plains near Albion were they breed and train their special horses. After a long mission a Green Rider and their horse will stay there to recover and wait for their next assignment. The new apprentices also have to learn and train there in their first year. (both the headquarters in the city of Albion and the Green Riders Stables are MOCs to be expected, but I first have to collect enough suitable bricks) The Green riders also have several small wooden cabins all over the country, that server as resting places for the messengers and their horses. Most of them are situated near the main travel routes, but there are also some cabins along secret roads that only the Green Riders now of. (maybe I will make a small MOC of a Green Rider an one of these secret cabins) The Green Riders can be recognized by their dark green shield with a white Pegasus head (the shield is a WIP), their all green uniform and cloak, their brown messenger pouch and simple sword. (I recently started with MOCing, mainly in lego Town. Castle is a whole new theme for me, so I don’t have many figures and suitable bricks yet, but as a fantasy books lover I am really enthusiastic. This Historica thing really got me and made me sign up for eurobricks instead of lurking around. So I am also a Eurobricks newby)
C.J.Cutrone9 Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 I swear to uphold the laws of Avalonia and to destroy its enemies. My figure, an Elf.
Andonii Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 My liege.I have created a mini MOC which is one part of the grand hall of Basilita. I am hoping to build around this and add a roof and a few other rooms, but, here it is, the first room, so far. And here is a shield/crest I created.
Legonardo Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 my land, Glevum, is located in the countryside, just left to the capital, with my tower
C.J.Cutrone9 Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 I request from Avalonia's Great Ruler the land circled on this map.
de Gothia Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 I request from Avalonia's Great Ruler the land circled on this map. What map is that? Do we have a new one or is it the old one you got there?
Andonii Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 What map is that? Do we have a new one or is it the old one you got there? This is no map of Avalonia. I remember Jason Cichinci showing this map as an example of work he has done in the past. I'm sorry C.J.Cutrone9 but you cannot request that piece of land because it does not exist.

Also refer to the first post in this thread as Defrel Cardarn has been hard at work trying to keep things in order Welcome to Avalonia! Edited December 6, 2011 by MikeyB

C.J.Cutrone9 Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 (edited) Okay, lets retry this. High king of Avalonia, I request the land circled on this map. (Watch this land be taken already....) EDIT: Where would I post WIP photos? Edited December 6, 2011 by C.J.Cutrone9
Brickdoctor Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 Okay, lets retry this. High king of Avalonia, I request the land circled on this map. [snip] That's Mitgardian land. The red dashed line and the thick red line with the white dots denote our borders.
C.J.Cutrone9 Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 That's Mitgardian land. The red dashed line and the thick red line with the white dots denote our borders. I am so confused..... Give me a while and I will try and fix it... MY head hurts from all this....
MikeyB Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 I am so confused..... Give me a while and I will try and fix it... MY head hurts from all this.... no I think your correct your claim is the black circle near the river inlet correct? If so that is inside Avalonia. I don't think anyone has claimed it yet As for WIP, the only guidance I have seen are is for the tower challenge. Post WIP on your tower here. If your looking for feedback on a guild task or other build, I would post them here as well and then create a MOC topic when you think it is pretty much completed. (someone let me know if I'm off base.) Also post you SigFig and your army here as well.

K.Kreations Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 (edited) Greetings Lord Derfel Cadarn. I just noticed that my province (Kydenon) is North of the Enchanted Forest. I had imagined it in a different location. Kydenon map by K.Kreations, on Flickr The red circle indicates where I imagined Kydenon. If it is already taken then I am fine with where it is now. But if it is free I would like if it could be moved there. Long Live Avalonia! - K.Kreations Edited December 6, 2011 by K.Kreations

But if it is free I would like if it could be moved there. Long Live Avalonia! - K.Kreations Fear not, Kydenon will be moved post haste! Also, my liege, I officially put in my claim as Lord of Dawynia, the land surrounding the Dragon's Tongue Tower. Its borders run from the edge of Benoic and up to the edges of the rivers above it and between Albion. Updates to the map coming 12/7! Edited December 7, 2011 by Jason Cicchini
Captain BeerBeard Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 The circled area is what I claim. The x is where my tower is located. I would also like the title of "Head Wizard of Avalonia" my lord.
de Gothia Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 (edited) The circled area is what I claim. The x is where my tower is located. I would also like the title of "Head Wizard of Avalonia" my lord. Quite an area you are claiming... My lands Benoic is in that area... I thought that our lands or countys would be much smaller... Captain BeerBeard Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 My character is rich and greedy. I think we should start thinking about closing our gate's to anymore imigrants. The other guilds need more people. I can always sell an acre or two if need be. It won't be cheap, though.
