And all the trees, We hate trees. And yup, we will add a little red & black to the scenery ;) A castle there, a temple here, sacrifice altars here and there, perfect! :) And your green lord will be displayed in main hall of Rilauven, as a warning to other guilds, not to mess up with Drow! Drow rule supreme! (btw, I would LOVE to see your structure of Drow, the ideas, construction, atmosphere and, on the other hand, maybe not, because it would rise the standards high, and for now, I have no competition, and what ever I build, it is good enough :) In any case, you will be punished for your insolate words! We think that this is enough for war! We now have proof that you've sent your soldiers to the gladiator games inside your war golem, and an excuse for retaliation! There is a community forum where you may find some more information or people who are attending. I think there will be a large EB crew there. See if you can go here and see some of the peeps going to BW2012

It would be great to have an Avalonia group build display at one of the shows. (do they allow that type of thing?) I am waiting on a shipment from BL to finish up my embassy and hope to get it tomorrow! I finally got a plan together in my head and got it about 80% built, just need to work out a couple spots and it will be done. There have been some great builds so far across the guilds and rougeang set the bar pretty high! Hopefully mine will not look to far out of place along with the rest!

I was pretty happy with my Embassy when I posted it, but I am seeing way too many great Embassy builds over the last week. I think everyone is upping their game for this 2nd challenge. HOWEVER- I happen to know that I Scream Clone (Nocturnus) and SI-Mocs (Kaliphlin) are planning to attend as am I. That means we could have at least three of the guilds represented right there. Maybe we (or I) could contact them and see if there is some thoughts on doing a mini representation for the guilds! EDIT: I asked SI and ISC about it. I will let you know what I hear back.

That is great but it´s pretty hard to see me amongst guys like Z, DC, SoT and Taz...

Good to know you are slowing the pace mate, or you will put the other members at shame on the matter of contribution on mocs. IMHO you have well deserved-earned the badge, your work is great, you have evolved on building from your faction buildings, wich were really nice; to your own style, wich is very particular on detail and I am fond with it and as I said you once, serves as inspiration to me, as for example you are now after Z, DC, Sot, Taz, Gabe, SM, ISC, steps wich is a prove of your development as a Mocer, so the ones like me, are after been like you, and so the evolution as builders of all of us is assured. I think I got it for the trebuchet and when they front paged the watchtower. I was "Fellowed" a few weeks after that, so I was on a roll. I went from just the MOC tag, two having three more in a the span of about a month. Back on topic... I finished my embassy! It is dark here in MN right now, so no photos yet.

It´s so cool that such a skilled builder like you also keep improve your buildings! The stone tower technique fits very well and I like it a lot! The palisades are also perfect and I don´t think I´ve seen those pieces being used for palisades! The contrast between the dark and dead nocturnian land and the green and lush Avalonia is very nice! Can´t wait for more pics!

The "dead" trees didn't photgraph as well as I would liked plus all the shadows are not good enough. I tried to take them in my garage this morning but it was soooooooo cold that I wasn't focused on doing the best I could. Another try and hopefully it will look nice. That stone technique was borrowed from Tiberium Blue. You can look him up on Flickr. Andonii and Volcanicpanik made this MOC. dG, Silver.Smith, Mayday Artist, and Capt. Beerbeard and maybe a few others also have figs that are looking to make a MOC. Mikey, DC, Blackmoor, BrickDoc and Matn have already made a MOC. I plan to use them all if I can! I would like to make rogueang's fig too, not sure if I have all the right parts. I will have to check on that.

You are lucky in been included, I haven´t appeared in none. @Z that is an impossing embassy, and it has the right feeling about it, I mean it looks like a place for discussing treats and alliances, not the type of a formidable fortress(wich is fine too, but I prefer your aproximation), I like that realism. Nice job.

I understand about the light problem, I finished a moc this morning but it has been so dull all day that I havn't been able to photograph it. I'm confident that we have a strong showing of Embassy's that will be more than a match for the other guilds!

I took it in the same place I took the photos for the gatehouse (my garage), and though it doesn't look like winter in Minnesota right now, it certainly felt like it! My hands were too cold to get good photos, so I will try again tomorrow with a little more light, and hopefully, a little more heat!
