Sorry I have been absent all, between a new job, being sick and the holidays I have not had much time to build.

The good news is I have spent a large amount of time making space in the unfinished side my basement for a large upcoming lego build!

I've been keeping up on the forums and you guys are building some amazing stuff!

Same here! I'm sorting my bricks at the moment. But reading the forum all day.

I am still here but my bricks are tied up in a Star Wars Dio..... Well... Not my green plates..... I might try to WIP up something really quick..... But all my leaves (except for my light green and palm leaves) are tied up in the SW Dio..... I might make a Dio on the shores of Avalonia..... Anybody with a city there?

Great story Derfel! I really liked the extensive scene and dialogue, but there should have been some Drow killing  . I have an idea what Challenge 3 might be, but I will have to wait and see if I'm right.

Cap'n BB here. I'm gonna post an update later today of my sigfig and a crappy teaser pic of the two moc's I have finished but haven't photographed. I got a Kingdoms joust this weekend! There's awesome stuff in there! You get 31 dark brown 1x4 tiles!

There's a big like in the Antyria region. A lakeside vig might be less daunting? Antyria is also known for strange vegetation.

looking forward to it! I want to get a joust set as well but kind of waiting for another double VIP deal from Lego.

My build time has been limited lately as I have been busy with a local soccer tourney. that ends this weekend so I should have some more time after that.

Thank you.

On another note, I am making a little comic involving the part of Avalonia's army under my siggy's command.. opefully it will be half as interesting as Deref's....

Friends, AFOL's, Guild Members of Historica, lend us your ears!

It is our pleasure to announce the results from Challenge 2, the Embassy Build:

In this round our great lands came together in diplomacy and forged strong relations in the spheres of trade, knowledge, and culture! We had a lot of amazing entrees and as you can tell, judging was a long and thorough process, as each and every entry was considered and given a fair chance at being the best in it's Guild. With so many great models, it was difficult to choose the top ones. We now present you with the highest rated MOC's from each guild, as well as the overall top scoring Guild, both in terms of entrees submitted, and quality of said entrees.

Total Guild Points:

Mitgardia - 535 Gold Darics

Nocturnus - 508 Gold Darics

Kaliphlin - 532 Gold Darics

Avalonia - 544 Gold Darics

The winning guild for Round 2 is therefore: AVALONIA!

Individual Guild Winners:

Mitgardia: Ecclesiastes

Nocturnus: lisqr

Kaliphlin: Gabe

Avalonia: Rolli

These winners, as well as the Winners from Challenge One can expect to receive custom prizes designed and produced for Guilds of Historic exclusively. Details on these prizes will be released soon, but trust us when we say, they are well worth the wait.

Congratulations to the winners, and a big thank you to all who participated!

Stay tuned for the official announcement for Challenge 3!

Avalonia to the victory¡ :dsweet:

Congrats to the winners! I don't envy those that had to do the judging as there were several great builds in each guild!

way to go Rolli! Good to see Avalonia get the win!

Well done Avalonia! I was sure that we would win this challenge. It's great to know that we won and who got the best embassy in our fantastic guild (congrats Rolli, yours was definatly one of the best!) but is there any way to find out how we individuals did?

for example:

In addition; any Mitgardian who submitted a MOC for Challenge 2 and wishes to get personal feedback on how their MOC did and what was good/could be improved about it, PM me and I will do my best to explain. (I offer this as a courtesy just so that you have a way of keeping track of individual development)

(from sirens of titan in the mitgardia topic)

just wondering if this was the same for Avalonia.

I would also like to extend a well-deserved congratulations to Rolli, and to all of Avalonia for bringing us the win for round 2.

Let's raise a flagon of mead to keeping up the good work, and another victory for the Western Paradise in round 3!

@Beerbeard: Your Sigfig has such personality, I don't think I noticed how awesomely quirky he looked until just now.

On a side note, much rumblings have been brewing over a GOH wiki, which I wholeheartedly support, wherever it may be hosted. Thoughts/comments? I think it would seriously help the overhaul of the map Ive had brewing in my head for the past few weeks, as well as be an invaluable tool in organizing the vast and ever changing information that surrounds Historica.

So did I! Wow I am honored someone thought I deserved it consider that I really didn't start building MOCs until the GoH project.
