Not really. I think Timura and dG had the same head... that was about all I really noticed. There may be a few others but if the face is relatively generic looking, i.e. no beard or glasses or something, then I didn't really notice.

Sorry to say but Timura and I don´t share head! He has an another one. Don´t really know which one though..

Heroes, assemble!

Dang, awesome. And i got a horse :)

If you don't mind, swap my head with this one: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=3626bpx68 . And: Assemble the hairs with the head first, then put them gently on the torso. The head isn't completely on the torso, that's the trick. Hope, you have the mentioned head, otherwise i'm truly satisfied!

Great work assembling Avalonia! (Now we only need as much entries for challenge 3 as people are on this shot ;)

My next chapter might take till tomorrow. Much work to do today!

Best regards!

I am not going to quote the picture again, but really nice job Z! I love to see all the sigfigs in one picture! And I feel honored that Lord Mephistopheles stands among them!

All hail Avalonia!

It's actually kind of saddening seeing how many inactive members we have. I haven't seen a number of those figures pop up in Mocs recently.

Captain Susan 100!!!the picture should be added to the first post!

ZachUnfortunatly that is the case, I think we should do a count of the still active members.

I am still active commenting wise, but have recently been building for the JRIII which is taking longer than expected as real life crud is popping up everywhere

I do intend to get back to building soon.

On that note, I feel like I should mention that I do intend to build something decent, I'm just really lazy. XD

In all seriousness, I'm working on something now.

Now that I am finished with my Albion City Guard Barracks I have started to build my second house. In a very different style. As I have a smaller budget to spend on lego this house will surely take me another 2-3 month to finish. I hope I can participate in some mini challenges with the spare parts I have left. I won't do any fast vigs anymore.

So you don´t tear down your mocs? I have to, otherwise I couldn´t build much! After the photos are done I build something new. :classic:

I teared down all my vigs, but I will keep the City Guard Barracks. It is aesthetically very pleasing and got a nice spot in my home. Also I will take it to some LEGO exhibitions we will have in Hungary.

I should have about 100 of that head, so I think I can do that.

I missed Kingdoms II and the Bull knights in a mini dark age, so you will have to suffer with the random head I put under that giant beard. I will try putting the head in the hair piece first.

Levels of activity definitely change. Several of those figs I had made from earlier MOCs like the Great Gatehouse of Albion or Rossen Manor. I did try to focus on people who, for the most part, are still around.

Just wondered: Who else is tearing down MOC-es after making photos? Do you tear them all down, or do you keep some? is there somebody who keeps them all?

I am curious especially in case of those builders who put out big and awesome stuff. Derfel Cadarn, zcerberus, Sirens (just to name a few, without making a complete list here)? What about you?

Personally I tear things down almost immediately after taking pictures, or as soon as I need the parts. Though I have kept my gatehouse and castle for Sir Glorfindel together.

Good question. Personally, Steph and I keep everything together. It's difficult to continue building knowing pieces you 'had' are now locked into various MOCs. But you can slowly get used to it. We first started doing this when we wanted to make a whole village/castle/world and realized you simply have to be consistent and slowly chip away at building an entire realm one house at a time. It's hard but I think its totally worth it. We'll try to post a video of the world sometime in the future.

I am very much looking forward to see it! My dream is to build a huge medieval village ~7x4 48x48 baseplate or 10x5 32x32 baseplate big depending on what I can buy cheaper.

My MOC building only started with this guild and out of the 10 or so builds I've done I only have a couple still together.

My Embassy is about 90% together (I pilfered a lot of the market and a few of the dark tan 2x2) and my row house is still together as I like it and it did eat up too much of my collection.

I also still have my travelling entertainers wagons still together (with the intention of finishing a scene for them one day)

everything else has been torn down.

I have been ordering about $20-30 a month off BL and it has quickly build up what I call my "finishing" pieces as I have a pretty large collection of random set since I was a kid (never really had a dark age just some gray periods) and quite a few PaB cups over the last couple years 9after admiring soo many great MOC here)

Siercon/Coral, that is INCREDIBLE that you keep your builds together. I would run out of pieces SO quickly. I will keep my favorite builds together as long as possible, but I will eventually start scavenging pieces until I break down and disassemble it. That is in fact what often keeps me from building new MOCs- the thought that I have to disassemble and organize all the pieces from my last MOCs. If I'm building a city or something I will keep builds together but I have a limited number of black and gray pieces which usually form the base for any of my MOCs. Also, I've started using some specific pieces in most of my MOCs (1x1 bricks w stud, tiles, cheese slopes etc.)

Depends a lot on the build. I don't keep many actual official LEGO sets together unless they are 1) modular buildings or 2) Star Wars UCS builds (with the exception of the last two SLAVE I models. I can't help it, I love them!)

As for MOCs, I have a lot of them together, but some get taken apart if they use a lot of pieces I don't have many of.

Avalonian Farm... together.

River Run Watchtower... together (going to BW, may do a little extra something on this one to spice it up).

Great Gatehouse of Albion... together (going to BW with bridge addition).

Keeper's Tomb... together.

Wolfpack Tower... together.

Prince of the Forest Build... taken apart.

Rossen Manor... together, but destruction pending.

I think when I get around to some of the other Albion and title builds, they will only last long enough to be photoed.

EDIT: Hey check it out... POST #1600 in the thread! Go Avalonia!!
