Woodward will not send any arms against the drow. However the borders of Woodward are well defended. Any drow will be arrested and transported to Albion to court. Unless they come through my part of Darkwood forest, in which case they will be sliced open and looted.

The great warriors of Avalonia can not hunt the Drow because their father took their weapons? Maybe Avalonians sons should have had less of dolls for birthdays and more of weapons, and today they would not have any problems? welcome to the Nocturnus, btw. Or are you contempt on hiding under them?

Do you fancy yourself as a tradesmen and want to set up a business to increase our wealth? Or maybe you wish to cut out a life in the forest with the Elves and help strengthen the alliance we have. Or maybe, just maybe, you're brave enough to master the Mystic Isles, find the shrine and fortify the Islands with your own designs? No, we have got bigger problems, Look here, the Drow had start a counter attack to your beloved Avalonia. I will say we have to fight here in Avalonia aganist the creatures of the Drow and close their gates and than we can go to Nocturnus. My army is still protecting Avalonia.
purpleparadox Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 As I told the Nocturnus Guild: I've been strongly advised by a fellow Kalihpin against joining the fighting, but I can't sit by and watch this happen and do NOTHING. I'll be sending caravans of weapons, provisions, armour, etc. to Nocturnians and Avalonians who are fighting the Drow. Expect them soon!

But there are strong rumors that they will ride on the Dragon Flight. A personal ultimatum has been given to the Drow, to determine the amount of blood we will spill. Regardless, the Mystic Isles will have a presence on that border.

If there was ever a time for Nocturnus to join forces, it would be now ...we do not have so many dragons, but we have hundreds of giant bats, and even an eagle can be brought down by sparrows... Good, we've been looking forward to this :) Drow rule supreme! :)

He will lead a group of Mitgardian volunteers to help out our Avalonian brothers to the West. Grimmson has always pointed out that the drow need to be defeated, alas noone ever listened to him. My explorer forces are somehow thin at this moment, scattered in the Enchanted Forest and Arfelan Plains, would take some time to marshall the adequate number for detriment on the surveilance of those lands, that so, I will command my personal force in support of those Lords and Avalonians already on the march. I wish the best for the rest of my fellow Avalonians, and urge them to be on your guard, because Drow could not be the only menace against Historica. Sharpen your blades. Avalonia Forever. Derfel Cadarn Posted May 29, 2012 Author Posted May 29, 2012 Greetings brave guildsmen! These are dark times and our recent actions have made some question if we are doing the right thing. We currently have part of our army camped on the Nocturnus borders with the order to assist the loyal Nocturnians in their fight against the Drow. However, the Drow are growing ever more powerful and I am not sure how long we will be able to hold them in their own land. It is time for all Avalonia to prepare themselves as I fear that dark times are ahead for us all. We must be ready for anything! I have returned from the frontline to prepare a council meeting of the Dragon Flight and there we will discuss and prepare for what ever is coming. Lord de Gothia will be in charge of the army at the Nocturnian border. His orders are to hold back the Drow asking as he can and to fall back to Avalonia if this proves helpless. When the council is ready I shall call de Gothia and the soldiers back so we can all prepare. Something strange is indeed happening. Weather it is the Drow or some other Evil, I do not know. The Finding of the crystals has huge significance in all of this, as I fear something out there wants the power they will unlock. It will soon be time for the greatest warriors in Avalonia to once again don the famous Armour and ride out under the banner of the Dragon. It has been to long, it's time to be legends again and give the people of Historica hope in these worrying times. The Flight of Dragons shall soon hear the call and we shall ride through all land and all of Historica as a symbol of all that is good, just and fair! Our presence shall give the people hope and the evil of this land will tremble. Nothing is going to take over Avalonia on our watch! I come with 20 archers, 10 swordsmen , 10 axemen and 40 dwarves, I may have a small force, but, to quote the drow leader, even an eagle may be taken down by many sparrows. As a boy he was declared a swordman prodigy by his fencing master as well as a notorious student by his tutor of arithmetic. He also learned other many sciences showing wit, on his few but long travels to Kaliphlin Universities. Learning also a proper way to conduct on politics matters. But his full exploits of abilities were on the forests. Tracking easily the most difficult animals and creatures, even for veteran men, a simple game to Nikutai. Therefore a logic choice was to send him to the Enchanted Forest, to train with the elves, wich at the moment rarely receive strangers. But admitted a few from the House of Arfelan due to an old allegiance of honor and good relations with the rulers of the plains. From that moment Nikutai was known as the half elf, for his abilities with the bow matched those of the elves. He remember those years roaming in the forest as the best from his short life. Before his father passed away, he had to return to the plains, leaving many friends and his heart at the Enchanted Forest, He was then betrothed to a Kaliphlian, daughter of a prominent merchant. Swearing an oath of service to his first brother, now the first Lord of Arfelan, Nikutai became first advisor, sadly a disease took his brother on his first year of rulership. His other brother was nowhere to be found, even from Lord Hide last days. So the weight of command passed to Nikutai. He is the commander of Avalonia most known rangers and scouts, Arfelan Explorer´s. Forms part of the "Flight of Dragons" as a reward on its family last past efforts at the service of Lord Artorious Rex. At the moment of his appointment swore loyalty to Lord Artorious Rex, as the previous members of the "Flight of Dragons", to protect Avalonia and his people to the last. But I have to admit, Nikutai is still not married, the arrangement was made just a year ago, and family emergencies already written, delayed even the opportunity to meet his future bride. Wich is known to be a beautiful and respected girl but also a young one, she has to wait one year before she can marry at the age of 18 according to Kaliphlin traditions of that region. I feel honored to be in a simbolic way part of your formidable Guild. I hope in the future Avalonia and Kaliphlin bonds continue strengthening. Even more. And I thank you again for the cup of wine, promising to deliver myself some of our finest mead to share with our southern friends.
