CMP Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 I'd like to use the barbell to break the window. Anyone got a what?
Brickdoctor Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 I have a key! Except it's for my house. I'd like to ask Deputy Chief Scott if the police will allow us to break in.
Fugazi Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 Oops, looks like I'm confused and wound up at the wrong house! Anyway, while I'm here I could just as well make myself useful. "Anyone got a key?" Robbie asks. Um, shouldn't you? I'd like to ask Deputy Chief Scott if the police will allow us to break in. If Robbie doesn't cooperate, we will use whatever means are necessary to gain access to his house. Even using a barbell to break a window. Not that I think it would have been necessary.
Bob Posted November 9, 2011 Author Posted November 9, 2011 Um, shouldn't you? "Chill out, lady, I don't live here anymore."
Brickdoctor Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 I'd like to try to open the door anyways, and if I can't, I'd like to ask Robbie where the spare key was hidden when he lived here, if there was one.
Fugazi Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 "Chill out, lady, I don't live here anymore." Right. Well James is at your place just past my camper car, so would you please go get your own door unlocked and bring back your father's keys by the same token?
Bob Posted November 10, 2011 Author Posted November 10, 2011 I'd like to try to open the door anyways, and if I can't, I'd like to ask Robbie where the spare key was hidden when he lived here, if there was one. The door is unlocked.
Brickdoctor Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 The door is unlocked. I'd like to open the door and look around to obtain a description of the first room I enter.
Bob Posted November 10, 2011 Author Posted November 10, 2011 I'd like to open the door and look around to obtain a description of the first room I enter. The first floor is completely open. There's a refrigerator, a fireplace, a small television, and a few drawers. There's also stairs.
CMP Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 I'd like to check the drawers. Sorry for stealing your thunder, Sarah.
Brickdoctor Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 Sorry for stealing your thunder, Sarah. I'd like to check inside the fireplace for anything other than normal wood ashes.
Jedi master Brick Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 God, I am really here again and dads poking round my housee God, I am really here again and dads poking round my house
Bob Posted November 10, 2011 Author Posted November 10, 2011 I'd like to check the drawers. Sorry for stealing your thunder, Sarah. There's a few sets of drawers. There's one near the "kitchen" are and there's another near the television set. Kitchen Drawers contain: Some forks, knives, spoons, a box of matches, some lighter fluid, a box of cereal, a "Grilling for Dummies" book, a bag of trail mix, a box of rice, a receipt for a new stove, and broken glass. Television Drawers contain: Several movies, some remote controls, a pencil sharpener, a "I brake for Nobody" bumper sticker, a copy of "So you wanna be a Grillionare?:How to wow your guests with excellent grilling techniques!", and finally an old watch that doesn't appear to work. I'd like to check inside the fireplace for anything other than normal wood ashes. There's nothing odd in there, however it does appear to have been recently lit.
Fugazi Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 Kitchen Drawers contain: Some forks, knives, spoons, a box of matches, some lighter fluid, a box of cereal, a "Grilling for Dummies" book, a bag of trail mix, a box of rice, a receipt for a new stove, and broken glass. I would like to try to determine what the broken glass used to be, and ask Robbie the same question. I would also like to open the refrigerator and examine its contents.
Bob Posted November 10, 2011 Author Posted November 10, 2011 I would like to try to determine what the broken glass used to be, and ask Robbie the same question. I would also like to open the refrigerator and examine its contents. It looks like it might be from a glass. "Beats me!" There's a plethora of foods and drinks in there. There's also absolutely no alcohol, and there's a variety of energy drinks.
Peanuts Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 I'd like to skim through the "Grillionaire" book looking for any marks, notes or anything out of order. Shall we head upstairs afterwards?
Bob Posted November 10, 2011 Author Posted November 10, 2011 I'd like to skim through the "Grillionaire" book looking for any marks, notes or anything out of order. Shall we head upstairs afterwards? There's several marks noting interesting techniques and ideas.
Peanuts Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 I'd like to have a description of the second floor then, since I believe we are finished here.
Bob Posted November 10, 2011 Author Posted November 10, 2011 On the second floor, there's a giant window in the roof letting in large amounts of sunlight. There's also a bed, a set of drawers, and a bathroom.
Brickdoctor Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 Drawer check. I'd like to look in the bathroom. And look in any drawers in there while I'm at it, before someone else does it.
