Sir Wellington Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 Has anyone made a decal torso for the drummers of the British Napoleonic Armies? Quote
Captain Blackmoor Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 (edited) I've made this decal for a request in the decal wish list but I thought it would fit in the Pirate torso library as well. Russian Admiral EDIT: I was in the mood making decals! There were no requests I was able to do so I decided to make some for the Pirate Torso Library. Lego_Warlord_8 Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 what software/application do you guys use for your decal making? if any of you can tell me that would be great... Quote

LuxorV Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 what software/application do you guys use for your decal making? if any of you can tell me that would be great... Hi there Lego_Warlord_8, welcome to EB. Personally, I use Corel Draw, and I know other peoople use Inkscape and MS Paint, as well as Adobe Illustrator. It's mostly a question of prefernece and experiance with one of those programs. If you are interested in learning how to make a decal with MS Paint, you can look at this Tutorial. And don't forget to check the Minifig Customization Index for other useful tools. BTW - I tried to send you this as PM, but then I remembered that members in the 'I'm new' group can't send/recive PMs . Anyway, I don't want it to sound like a restriction to you right the first days you're here, but could you please resize the picture you use in your signature, say to a maximum pixel height of 300 (as indicated in the Site Guidelines)? That would be very nice, since with a sign as big as yours actually is, it's difficult to see the post: it gets overhelmed by the signature itself. Thanks for your understanding and collaboration LuxorV Quote

Lego_Warlord_8 Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 (edited) I always try to go for:dimensions: 360pixels - 300 pixels resolution: 600dpi - 600dpi Then you get something like this: how do you change the DPI in MS paint? if ANYONE can answer, that would be great.
