Just wondering. For the non-perfect answers people, are you nudging them in the direction of the right answers in the meantime?

And is it metagaming to target them in the first day? :)

I'm not going to do anything with them yet, until the sign ups are closed. Sixteen is enough to play, and twenty is optimal, so let's give it a day or two.

Once the answers are posted, people can discuss them for a day or two. Once the game starts, there will not be an active discussion thread, since it tends to get abused, especially by new players. I'll be giving general strategy advice to players in the day threads which they can choose to take or ignore, and players will be relatively free to PM me during the game about how to approach things.

As for targeting them... And here is a mafia school lesson: Good players tend to be targeted first by scum. Clueless players float along to the end of the game. If you want to nominate them, it's fair. Sometimes a bad townie will win the game for scum :laugh:

No. That player list is all accepted players.

But I expect all players to consider the game before they play and as they play, particularly those who didn't answer those questions to my liking (and to be fair, I'm experienced, but I am not an authority on these matters).

That's one of the key things that has been discussed with hosting staff here, the approach of players and style of play. In other places I've played, the games are quite different than here. There are a few reasons for it. The first is the tendency here to consider it a survival game. The second is that players, especially new ones are too caught up in the window dressing of the game, which is only meant to add to the fun, not affect it. But there will be more on that later....

I know that I've been wanting to join a Mafia School for ages, but now that one's actually up, I'm not so sure. :sceptic:

It's not because I don't want to, just because of a bunch of other things.

I'm finally going to start playing Arkham City this weekend, so that will take up lots of my time (I've been holding it off for weeks). Also, on weekdays I'll only be free from about 4-8pm, and maybe only every other day. :hmpf_bad:

I might be able to fit it in, but I'll let you decide if I should try for it.

Yeah, I'll leave this open another day or two. One of the biggest complaints is that the game sign ups are gone before some people notice.

I'll aim to send out roles on Monday or Tuesday, and start a day or two after that.

My main MOC is ready, and I'll work on a little other bit of stuff, but my daughter ravaged the minifigs I made for this game while I was at work on Friday (she's three) :wall: I've told my wife a thousand times not to let her rummage through my room, and frankly, I don't think she gives a shit. Now the Queen has no hair and I have no clue where it is :cry3: Alright, back to work...

I can't wait for this to start, I hope I get a good part (if I get in :wink: ).
