K-Nut Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 Alfred saves Bruce. As soon as I heard of this contest, I wanted to do something with fire, and what better than burning down Wayne Manor from Batman Begins? Without the minifigs. Without the fire. I really wanted to get this done with since I had it stuck in my workspace for a month. I finally got my Fire pieces I needed yesterday. I used 153 regular fire pieces for this MOC. That will be the last fire based MOC I'll do for a while. Quote
Si-MOCs Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 "What's the point of all those pushups if you can't even lift a log?" I love all the fire effects you have going. Though you should have left some cups and stuff lying around form the party. Very nice though! Quote
lightningtiger Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 A really HOT design from you 'K-nut', it proves that Alfred can take the heat and possibly 'We didn't start the fire' was playing on the radio at the time. Good luck in the contest and Bat-brick On ! Quote

What's better for a superhero contest than a superhero pun?! Thank you! Quote
E.Nygma Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 Looks great! Michal Cane has his work cut out for him there! Quote
Miss Kyle Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 Cool, a classic scene! Well done, good luck in the contest! Quote
The Penguin Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 So many entries. Noo. So many awesome entries! A very nice scene and a very clever design! Good day, ladies and gentlemen! ) Quote
bligor Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 Great idea, not overcrowded and yet it shows a true movie scene. Great MOC, even better idea. Quote
Lego_Hero Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 That's alot of fire. Also best line in the movie. Nice MOC, but it strikes me as a little plain. It's not too late to throw in some furniture or something. Quote
Vimes Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 An important scene of Nolan's "Batman Trilogy", and you did very well. The hall looks elegant and the fire rages in chaotic anger. Maybe some pieces of burning furniture would have been great to fill the seemingly empty inferno, but the atmosphere of the MOC is spot on nonetheless. Good job! Quote

thewatchman Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 Wonderful scene, very detailed interior. I love the flame effects also, just a quick question and excuse my ignorance but what is the competition your entering? Quote
