Vindicare Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 I am a pretty good Warhammer 40k player. I got second in local Ard Boyz tournament with my fully painted Death Korps of Krieg Imperial gurad army. I am also a professional body Piercer and fulltime College student majoring in Mass Communications. I also am a fair punk rock bass player in my band A New Hope. Are you a SW cover band? Quote
Hrw-Amen Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 I am rather good at painting models, I collect orks from GW. However they are so expensive that I hardly ever get any, usually once a year there is a fair thing that sells the models pretty cheap so that is when I tend to buy them. I have to admit that with all the price rises over the last few years it is getting a bit hard to justify the cost. It is also difficult to know what to buy, GW or LEGO? Quote
legomonk Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Are you a SW cover band? we do do a punk cover of the canteena song but no we are a punk band of nerds who love star wars and thought the name was a good one. but cheers on recognizing the name Quote
Sokratesz Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 The students at uni apparently think I'm a cool guy when it comes to assisting dissection practicals (it's my parttime job next to doing my msc) And I can swim 50m underwater. Quote
LegoDad42 Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 @horizon..wow man, great space-scape painting. Excellent. Besides Lego, I used to play guitar (not as much anymore), avid softball player and loved Sumi-E brush painting. But my main thing is I love to draw, especially comic books and the like. Quote
dr_spock Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 I can play Jingle Bells on my guitar. Quote
LegoSoviet Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 I'm pretty good at drawing, I play football, I can speak French, Russian, proficient in English and I know a bit of German... And of course I build Lego! Quote
Sokratesz Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 I'm good at cutting up dead animals. Quote
Larrynautik Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 I write a lot. I alternate between strange spiritual poetry and science fiction short stories. I also wrote a science fiction big novel (253 pages) but never published - like almost every french science fiction in fact. My other skills are being able to assemble, maintain and repair a computer, solve an amazing amount of informatics bugs and explain them in ordinary mortals language. It's my job ! Despite being able to spend hours on computer games, I also know how to use the I Ching chinese divination book lol (thanks to Philip K. Dick ! ) I also know some words in japanese, but there's not a lot of japanese to talk with around here Quote
Brickmaster Posted November 28, 2011 Posted November 28, 2011 Most of my resources are diverted towards Magic: the Gathering nowadays. I love the interactivity and depth the card game provides. Quote
Cwertle Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 (edited) I can play piano by ear, and I guess I am good at drawing. Edited December 5, 2011 by Cwertle Quote

lorax Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 I am good at identifying faults in certain types of technical documents (which makes me really good at my job). It is from a combination of my two personality flaws, I am a natural worrier and I am overly analytical. Not very interesting, but it pays the bills. I am also pretty good at just dance games on the wii. Quote
into the blue Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 I'm a pretty decent mountain unicyclist. No, really. Quote
Matt The Tuba Guy Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 I'm pretty good at music (hence my username) I'm also sort of studying physics and astronomy at university. I stopped halfway through this year due to earthquake stress, but I do intend to return eventually, although I'm not sure when yet. So yeah, I'm pretty good at mathematics, and science in general. kyphur Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 I'm a former costumer (designed, sewing, wearing etc) but that was 5 years ago. As a Scuba Diver I'm not too bad. In fact all of my dive buddies seem to think I'm decent and my Instructor can't wait for me to finish my DiveMaster Certification so he can put me to work. Quote

I am a drafting instructor (for legislation). Well it is only a part of my job (I also so some more traditional policy work), but it is what people consider me best at. I think my husband agrees that I am awesome at dance games on the Wii. I can always hear him laughing hysterically when I play, I assume that is a sign of my awesomeness and the fact that I never lose. Quote
