A little like Time Cruisers!

Yeah, it's really quite remarkable how similar they are... I'm no expert, but I don't think the Time Cruisers formula really did well enough to try again!

Ah, but - as far as my memory can be trusted - that theme had no clearly defined storyline or villains. Whereas this theme is, as it says on the tin, about fighting monsters. Much more readily understandable as a central concept.

There were a lot of comics and such, I believe, that went along with it. And the entire second wave was full of mustached black hatters. If that doesn't spell villain, I don't know what does...

I'm loving the biplane. Reminds me strongly of Scarecrow's.

OMG, it's Bella Swan Flee, everybody, fleeee!!!!!

The female vampire looks fantastic, and looks extremely well made. I'm definitely going to buy the vampire castle set.

The hunter with the hammer looks better close up. I love the serious facial expression.

I'm still not interested in the werewolf. He looks a bit fake, but nevertheless, I'll still pickup the werewolf set.

Whoops, haha! My mistake. Though the difference between the two factions seems more clearly defined in Monster Fighters, right?

They're dark tan not olive green. look at them in relation to the dark green leaves and the bright green brick. then in relation to the the browns. definitely dark tan.

It seems to be that vampire's castle is like portal of Atlantis,featuring all crystals.

I like these two, maybe not their faces, and the girl's hair could've been in another color. It's weird cause the prelim of the set she comes in, shows the hairstyle in brown.

The style of these 'Figs doesn't match the others.

I like the garlic print on the female hunter's leg.

The Ghost Train is still great, though I don't really like the front as it looks like the skull has a nose.

The castle reminds me a bit of the old Arkham Asylum set. I think the small set next to it can connect somewhere.

Maybe they are actually a third faction that is competing against the three Fighters we saw earlier to get the crystals.

The man bat appears to have a new huge bat ears hairpiece as well as having those winged arms. In the toyfair picture group shot of sets he can be found hanging upside down from the castle's shortest tower. in the video he's quite clearly seen on the castle box art.

Yes, but she actually comes in the carriage set too.. and as I said she appears with the same hair piece in brown.
