Ooh, the sets look better out-of-box, I think. Maybe the greenish-purple background threw me off a bit before.

The Hearse looks a lot nicer now. Yay, a coffin in a cheap set!

Has anyone here looked at the text on the book pages in the Monster Fighters character videos? They're hilariously self-aware, especially Frank Rock's.

Very witty. I hope there is more media still to come for this theme that maintains that sharp, tongue-in-cheek humor.

Yep, very genre-savvy. Especially the Frank Rock reference to

I am liking this theme more and more.

The Castle looks great and I just LOVE that pipe organ (although the only link I can find between Vampires and Pipe Organs is the Count on Sesame Street)

OMG I love this theme.

Now I can't tell, though, whether or not the car in the castle set is sand green or the new olive green - it looks different in each of the pics it's shown in...

I always thought Frank Rock was a reference to Meat Loaf in Rocky Horror Picture Show. Thanks so much GRogall for the HD pics! I'm glad we finally get to see good pics of the lab set! Whoo!

Wow thanks GRogall. We finally can take an up-close look on the "Mad scientist's underground lab" Although I am still curious about the light brick and its propetites. Anyways, thanks :sweet:

I was just watching the zombie set review and i heard it will be £30 here in the uk! Surely that is too good to be true I was thinking it would be around £40. Is there anyone here in the UK that knows if this it true?

Can't wait! :sweet:

Combined with my state's heinous sales tax (more than 6 percent!), the expedited shipping (I'm impatient  ) and TRU 5 dollar markup, it set me back 98 dollars! Let's hope it was all worth it.

It's 11% in Chicago. I don't shop at TRU on principle because of that obscene mark-up, lets face it LEGO is an expensive enough hobby without arbitrary price hikes. If I spot the Vampire Castle at a Wal-Mart somewhere, I just might pick it up and do a review.

They had the ghost train. Werewolf and Vampire castle sets as well.

Your TRU seems much better stocked then mine! Something I've noticed about the Ghost Train - the prison car has rubber bands on the wheels. On the other cars, they have the elastics to generate enough friction for the batwing mechanism, but the prison car has no wings. Perhaps an unknown feature?

I just picked up the swamp creature at Toys R Us, it looks great but the eyes on the creature's head don't match up with the holes in the mask  You can kind of see this in the photos posted above by Super Goblin but I'll take some pictures of mine soon to show you guys. I was a little disappointed
