CM4Sci Posted May 30, 2012 Posted May 30, 2012 (edited) The site has been FULLY updated and it looks AWESOME! EDIT: Playing "The Monsterland Tales" and it's quite fun! EDIT 2: To anyone who has the Werewolf set, in the back of the instructions, there should be a code. Anyone mind telling me it? Thanks! -Sci Edited May 30, 2012 by CM4S Quote

MakutaNocturn Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 There was an website update and we can play the game now. http://monsterfighters.lego.com/en-us/game/default.aspx Enjoy! Quote
just2good Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 (edited) I was checking the box of the Werewolf set today, and on the side, it's misprinted! It shows the preliminary photo! Also, I've watched all the videos of the monsters on the website, and they were great all quite humorous. My favorite has to be the ghost one. I cracked up on that one! Darth Hagrid Posted June 1, 2012 Posted June 1, 2012 I actually think I like the preliminary Wolf Moonstone more than the new red one. Quote

just2good Posted June 1, 2012 Posted June 1, 2012 (edited) Looks like we'll be getting a zombie polybag: (SOURCE) Bluebeard, out- The Zombie Driver is in three sets! That's a lot for one monster... Also, I would of prefered if the made a generic zombie in a polybag instead. Edited June 1, 2012 by just2good Quote
Flea Posted June 1, 2012 Posted June 1, 2012 as for 30201, where can or were will it be able buy this promo set? will it be avaiable in official lego stores? PS another one Quote
purpleparadox Posted June 1, 2012 Posted June 1, 2012 PS another one Wow, lots of polybag pics today! I really want multiples of this one, hopefully TLG starts making polybags more widely-spread. Quote
IAmWillGibson Posted June 1, 2012 Posted June 1, 2012 (edited) Polybags make me so sad. I still have no idea why they can't carry these things with any consistency in Brand stores or online. I mean, that's what they're for, right? But having just built the Hearse last night, and setting it up next to the totally boss car from the Werewolf set, and letting Rodney Rathbone drive the hot rod from the Sphinx set, along with the other neat vehicles in the other sets, Monster Fighters sort of has a real Wacky Racers vibe to it, which I love. And this Coffin Dragster is perfect for it. [Though it would be perfectly perfect if it came with a coffin lid, too.] But so unattainable!! Toys R Us has millions of those Bricktober magnets flippin' everywhere, and this one Star Wars polybag that's been there forever, but none of this fun, useful stuff. I cry. [Although they did have some of the Friends polybags, so that's keeping some small spark of hope... very small, very un-spark-like.] Edited June 1, 2012 by IAmWillGibson Quote
pong0814 Posted June 1, 2012 Posted June 1, 2012 I really hope those polybags make it to Canada (or not too expensive over at BrickLink). So far, I've seen all of the Monster Hunters sets over at TRU Canada, with the exception of the Swamp Creature, which was the one I actually wanted to grab first! Quote

Me too, the bride or groom or even a new zombie altogether would have been better than yet another zombie driver. Quote
Sirtank Posted June 2, 2012 Posted June 2, 2012 (edited) I was at Toy's R us tonight and nearly bought the Vampire castle, but I ended up getting the Crazy scientist and his monster instead. It's a pretty cool set, but very small for the $60.00 price tag. I may go back in the morning and pick up the castle. So many great sets came out this summer, I'm not sure where I'm going to put them all. I had the original Mad scientist set, but scrapped it for parts long ago. I've felt bad for not having it on the shelf, but this is a great replacement. Edited June 2, 2012 by Sirtank Quote

Endgame Posted June 2, 2012 Posted June 2, 2012 It would appear that most of the monsters are being mind controlled. The Red Moonstone gives one the power of minion control, and in the comics, the monsters seem none too happy about relinquishing their precious stone. Quote
Lyichir Posted June 2, 2012 Posted June 2, 2012 Me too, the bride or groom or even a new zombie altogether would have been better than yet another zombie driver. I dunno. While another source for one of the other zombies would be nice, technically the Zombie Driver makes the most sense here... seeing as he's driving. Quote

The mad scientist and monster set is only $50 MSRP for example. Quote

The mad scientist and monster set is only $50 MSRP for example. Same here. I'd order them from Lego but they don't take Paypal (My online payment of choice, but I digress). Plus some of the other prices elsewhere are insane ($175 for the Vampyre Castle is entirely too much) Quote
just2good Posted June 2, 2012 Posted June 2, 2012 All the MF sets are available on Target.com in the US! Quote
Capt. Bluebeard Posted June 2, 2012 Posted June 2, 2012 hmmm. still no zombie set...darn it At least you guys have got the main range. Us lot across the pond are still waiting...
