Sirtank Posted June 2, 2012 Posted June 2, 2012 I just ordered the Vampire castle from Target, that should give me about a week to figure out where I'm going to put it once I have it. I'm also waiting for some news on the zombie set here in the U.S. I've got an army of custom zombies already, but would love to add some more official ones to the mix. Quote
Vindicare Posted June 2, 2012 Posted June 2, 2012 For USA, S@H is selling the 7 MF sets together for $296.94(sale price, hard to say how long it's going to be that). On top of that, they're running free shipping over $75. Not sure if that works will sale items... And even better is you get double VIP points. That's 593 points?! I don't know if I can resist this deal... Quote

The collection is only six dollars off on sale, so if free shipping doesn't apply to sale items you could just wait for it to go off sale and get the free shipping later. Free shipping would save you more than paying for shipping with six dollars off. Quote
Ceroknight Posted June 2, 2012 Posted June 2, 2012 Don't worry, free shipping applies to items on sale Quote
dark1san Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 Has there been an official date set for the zombie set? Quote
just2good Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 Has there been an official date set for the zombie set? No, not in the US at least. Don't worry about missing an announcement about the release date though, as everyone wants that set. Quote
Multiverse Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 I'm not sure whether this has been known for a while, but I guess I might as well direct your attention towards it in case it hasn't: I was in Berlin a few months ago, and naturally I visited the Lego store (the large one, not the one in the Discovery Centre). They had Vampyre Castle and The Zombies. Confident that I'd get them at 40% off if I waited a few months, I didn't buy either of them. Some of you seemed to be looking for The Zombies, and now you know where it is (or at least where it has been). ;) Quote
Cammo Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 (edited) Just wanted to report that the Vampire Castle is now available on the official website for Holland and Belgium. Not that I'm going to buy although it's one of the better themes Lego has released. I only collect the licensed stuff ... for now. Edited June 3, 2012 by Cammo Quote
Multiverse Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 Just wanted to report that the sets are now available on the official website for most European countries. Not Denmark. =( Quote
vriverajr3 Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 sorry but does anyone have any link or scans to MF instructions for the mummy and swamp creature set? cant find them anywhere thanks Quote

That and the fact that it's coming out in 2013 is all we know about it. DTC means Direct to Consumer, so it will be an exclusive, and might be the Haunted House. There is a discussion of that set here, let's not start a debate of whether it will be Monster Fighters or not in this thread. Quote

Haunted House is 10228 and is set to be released in Jul 12. Quote
Vindicare Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 Hmm...what's "GWP"? I got my catalog the other day and noticed this theme certainly makes good use of the six shooter. I counted about 14, not including the typical extra we get. Quote

Omega X Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 Just asking(Not sure if anybody posted this), is the Zombies set a exclusive? Because if it is, that means NETT price aka no discount Omega X Quote

tim636100 Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 Hi! I`ve read a few pages, however it takes a long time to read all 95 pages XDD. Well, does someone know when is the release date of the lego monster fighters sets in the UK? These sets are available in the US and Canada, as well as in Germany. For how long we will wait for it? Thanks Quote
Capt. Bluebeard Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 @tim636100: Well, I emailed LEGO and this is the reply I got: Thanks for getting in touch with us.I'm afraid the set you ask about isn't available to buy at the moment! It's scheduled to be released sometime this summer, but release date details are not yet known. The best way to get sneak previews of our toys is to join the LEGO club, it's free! We'll even send you five LEGO magazines a year! All you need to do is go to www.LEGOclub.com and sign up, or call one of our experts on 00800 5346 5555 and let them know you want to join. Thanks again for getting in touch. Happy building! Allisa LEGO Direct Consumer Services Not very informative and, to be honest, I'm not inclined to believe a single word of it. I believe that MF will arrive in the UK this month, seeing as they recently got rid of some of last years themes, such as Atlantis & Alien Conquest. It is just a question of when exactly that will happen. Bluebeard, out- Quote

Sets are available in the US, for a higher price though. Lego fans, say in Denmark or Britain are desperate waiting for it for such a long time. They may decide not to buy these sets in the nearest future, as a result of apathy and changed tastes. Quote
pong0814 Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 Just saw the Zombies set over at S@H Canada. It says 'Coming Soon August 1, 2012'. http://shop.lego.com/en-CA/The-Zombies-9465 Quote

US has Monster Fighters and LotR, but I think Europe has the Star Wars sets? I know North America uses slightly different packaging, but I can't see that being the major cause of the odd staggered releases? Gift with purchase... Sucks because there's a good chance it'll have an exclusive minifig D: Woohoo! Poly bagged promotional Monster. I wonder if will be something interesting like the Bride of "the monster" or the Invisible man? Hopefully not just another Mummy variant. Quote

US has Monster Fighters and LotR, but I think Europe has the Star Wars sets?? It's not just the US who has MF; Canada, Germany, Austria & Switzerland also have it. There are also a number of European countries who have Ninjago 2012 Wave 2, City Mining and SW 2012 Wave 2. Unfortunately, the UK, as well as Poland and Hungary, seem to be the only countries who do not have a summer theme on their respective Shop@Home. Yes, even the Korean Shop@Home has Ninjago 2012 Wave 2! *sigh*...Sorry if I come off a little whiny, but it really is quite aggravating when everyone else seems to be getting something and you don't...
