bricked one Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Here's my new tumbler from The Dark Knight. 10 studs wide in the back which makes it slightly large but it seats two minifigs side by side and has tons of detail to make up for it. Also the roof opens like it's suppose to and slides back a bit. One of its major features is the Batpod transformation, The front section detaches from the rest of the vehicle and folds up into the Batpod which isn't completely based on the one from the movie, I decided to change it up a bit to make life easier for myself. Enough of that boring stuff. It's time for some pictures! Comments and criticism are welcomed! Thanks for watching! Quote
Lothos Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Wow, great moc. Watched the dark knight recently, and i'd say that's pretty spot on. Quote
De Sandman Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 That looks quite well like the one in the movie, i like the bike unfolding.. Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Very impressive! As a Tumbler fan myself, I can really appreciate the design aspect of this one, and I'm quite amazed that you were able to get a highly-accurate looking Tumbler in minifig-scale with even a Batpod transformation! There are some great MF-scale Tumblers I've seen before, but never I have seen before something with the perfect balance of size, accuracy, and functionality. My hats off to you sir! Quote
Dadster Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Wonderful stuff!! And thanks especially for showing the unfolding abilities... Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 (edited) Another outstanding MOC ...great building technique! The bike is super! Edited November 20, 2011 by LEGO Train 12 Volts Quote
Cutty Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 I have a policy of never, NEVER, asking anyone for instructions, but I feel a tingle down my spine that urges me to do so! Such a great looking MOC! And the Batpod transformation, while striking a necessary compromise between form, function and accuracy concerning the actual vehicles, is fantastic! Well played, man, well played!! Be well all! Cutty Quote

Krikkit Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 I love this. Any chance that the instructions will appear on line at some point in the future? Quote
