Tamamono Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 "Well it seems he was quite skilled with the sword, however that is no excuse for his behavior." Turning to Cronk I ask, "Do you think we should go see if Leo is done talking to the commander?" Tomas gives up and hobbles over to the rest of the party. "Yeah, I suppose that would be best." Tomas then switches to Cronk's Healing Staff and heals himself.
Jedi master Brick Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 Elgar stated "After we clear the siege I think the mercanrarys are here to get these relics that are worth a lot of money in these villages, so checking them out would make sense"
CorneliusMurdock Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 Perhaps is best not to linger here. Cronk would hate to see friend Tomas hurt again and Paladins seem a might touchy. Party will seek out Sir Leo and see if friend is done talking to Lord Grumpypants. And Tomas, please stop bashing self. Cronk not think staff work that way.
Etzel Posted December 12, 2011 Author Posted December 12, 2011 Tomas heals himself and feels much better, but the blessed effect he had received from the tomb of the Lightbringer is gone. soccerkid6 Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 "So Leo, what did Commander Kapriel say?"
TheBoyWonder Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 (edited) Kapriel is a good man. We shall defend the city from the enemy. I myself do not feel good helping an Orc, and definitely not obeying one. They tried to enslave my family. Many died. Me and my brother are the only ones left. And I fear he is dead too. But knowing him, he is fine. I only stay with Heroica for the gold. The gold allows me to improve my Death's Draken Saber, the sword that saved me as a child. Luc screamed and I went in to a rage. A Draken burst out, killing them all. My Sword got stolen when I was young. The Pongacnoise took it and ripped out the gem. Years later, on my last quest I found it again. As soon as I saw it lying there, I knew I needed it. I got it and when I saw a merchant selling a Ruby, I bought it in a flash. I knew it would return. The Draken. It did. I feel stronger. I fight for Ennoc, now and forever. One day I will have my revenge on those who oppose the Righteous Light, and those who killed my family. Edited December 13, 2011 by JediAnakin
soccerkid6 Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 (edited) "Well I am going to follow whatever Cronk says, I don't see what people's problem is with orcs; there are good orcs and bad orcs, good humans and bad humans. I trust Cronk, and he was placed in command, so whatever he says goes for me." Edited December 13, 2011 by soccerkid6
TheBoyWonder Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 Cronk is an exeption. The only non-evil Orc I have ever met. The last one I met on a Hunting Trip tried to kill me, my wolf and the rest of the group.
soccerkid6 Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 (edited) So why not do what he says? OOC: I just switched what I actually say to color, so it will be easier to see Edited December 13, 2011 by soccerkid6
TheBoyWonder Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 (edited) I will do what he says. Did I ever say I would not? But if Cronk asks us to spare an Orc that attacks us, then I will disobey him. Edited December 13, 2011 by JediAnakin
soccerkid6 Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 (edited) I myself do not feel good helping an Orc, and definitely not obeying one. Snip I just wanted to make sure we are all in agreement, so Cronk, what shall we do? Edited December 13, 2011 by soccerkid6
TheBoyWonder Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 Cronk, do not feel insulted. I will lend my Pongcanis shield to Sir Glorfindel for the remainder of the Quest. We need all the people well armed.
soccerkid6 Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 Thank you very much Sir Leo, I am sure it will serve me well, and I will return whenever you like. Sir Glorfindel, Level 8 Knight 32 Year Old Human Male, Power 11, Health 17/17, Gold 91, Inventory: Ringil a sword (hollow blade [potion], Ice Elemental WP:3) Pongcanis Shield (SP:3) equipped Lion Shield (SP:2), Bedroll, Potion x3(one in sword), Ice bomb, Fire Bomb
TheBoyWonder Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 (edited) I felt you needed a stronger Shield to protect you from the enemies of Ennoc. I will ask Kapriel if I can keep my Paladin Shield. If I can, would you like to buy the shield? OOC:Etzel, is the Paladin Shield permanant? If we fail the quest can I still keep it? Edited December 13, 2011 by JediAnakin
soccerkid6 Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 I will give you 20 gold for the shield, I would give more, but when we get back to Eubric I can buy a mockthril shield (SP:4) for 40 gold. And it will cost me that much to have your shield upgraded to (SP:4).
TheBoyWonder Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 OOC: I will accept, but only if the QM says the Paladin Shield is permanent. IC: Lets head to the battlements.
CorneliusMurdock Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 Cronk is surprised at Sir Leo. If Sir Leo not comfortable with following Cronk, Sir Leo can go back to Eubric. Cronk respect opinions of friends but Friends must also trust Cronk to do what right. Things not so black and white that all one type being evil and other type not. Ennoc gives all friends ability to judge evil for selves. If Grumpypants want friends on Battlements, then to battlements party will go.
TheBoyWonder Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 Cronk, I would trust you with my life. I only said some of that to get Kapriel to trust me more. But the deaths are true.
Tamamono Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 "Good job, Sir Leo. I'm glad you were able to get the prejudiced captain to trust you." Tomas brushes himself off and fixes his hair. Unfortunately, there is no repairing his cloak torn by the Champion's sword. "What I wouldn't give for that power I claimed to the Lion Knights..." he mutters to himself as he follows the rest of the party. "Let's head on to the battlements now."
CorneliusMurdock Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 Do not worry about torn cloak, Tomas. Cronk's mommy was tailor and Cronk's mommy teach Cronk how mend things. When friends get back to Hall, remind Cronk and Cronk will find needle and thread. Cronk have mend Cronk's cloak all the time. Cronk sorry for doubting Sir Leo. Cronk just on edge with all unfriendly paladins around.
TheBoyWonder Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 I know how you feel. The paladins do seem harsh, but you cannot be gentle and merciful in war. If anyone needs a potion just say. I would be happy to give it for free. I vowed that I would fight to the end. Lets just hope we survive this godforsaken war.
Jedi master Brick Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 (edited) Elgar a bit blurred by wierd colours when Sir Leo and Sir glorifidel speak says "I will obey Cronk with every order unless I disagree higly. I think we should treat all prisnors the ssme regardless of race. Racism has no place in heroica, we have several orcish heroes and an orcish barmaid." Edited December 13, 2011 by Jedi master Brick
TheBoyWonder Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 (edited) Do any of you have personal convictions against Orc's? Those who prove themselves I will Spare, but I will crush those who oppose the light. The Draken, it is taking over my mind. The pain is unbearable! I am sorry Cronk. Leo falls to the ground, darkness enveloping him. A flash of White Light can be seen. Leo rises covered by a red glow. I hope those Mercenaries hurry up. The sooner they come, the sooner they fall. Draken make me stronger. Edited December 13, 2011 by JediAnakin
Jedi master Brick Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 "Leo" Elgar shouts " Are you ok?" Elgar would like to know if a remedy would work?
Tamamono Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 Tomas was about to thank Cronk for his generosity once again, when suddenly Leo collapsed to the ground. "What? What happened to him?"
