Etzel Posted January 26, 2012 Author Posted January 26, 2012 OOC: What about levels? For just one round of battle? Just joking, fixing that now!
CorneliusMurdock Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 Tomas or Leo can use shovel? Which friends want bones or necklace?
Tamamono Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 Tomas or Leo can use shovel? "Oh, sure. I will dig in the ground that has recently been moved."
Etzel Posted January 27, 2012 Author Posted January 27, 2012 While Cronk tries to find anyone who wants the crap loot that the werewolf dropped, Tomas takes his shovel and digs beneath the dead tree and has soon revealed an old chest. There is no lock so Tomas flips the lock open and finds some gold and a crystal goblet inside. So, here is some more goods to divide between the party members: Crystal Goblet. Can be sold in shops for 70 gold. 50 Gold
soccerkid6 Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 Nice find Tomas! I'll take the bone if no one else wants it, should we keep going on the path?
CorneliusMurdock Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 Glorfindel and Leo get bones. Gligan gets necklace. Then Cronk will give each other friend 24 gold, giving friends remainder out of Cronk's gold when the found 50 gold runs out. Cronk will then keep Crystal Goblet to sell later. (That way all friends get 24 gold. Cronk just get Cronk's share from goblet.) Party will continue on path.
Jedi master Brick Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 Elgar, then said "The item my friend wanted was the crystal goblet, I would be willing to give up some gold for it".
Etzel Posted January 27, 2012 Author Posted January 27, 2012 Cronk divides the goods accordingly and when he picks up the Crystal Goblet it is ice cold against his hand. The party: Cronk (Played by CorneliusMurdock) Level 16 Knight Power: 27 Health: 10/25 (SP: 6) Gold: 235 Inventory: Zoot's Bane (Long Sword) (WP: 11, Light Damage, suitable for Cronk), Sword of Bashing (WP: 5), Mockthrill Shield (SP: 4), Potion (2), Bedroll, Pointy Stick (WP:1), Elaborate Helmet (SP:2), Crystal Goblet Sir Glorfindel (Played by soccerkid6) Level 10.5 Knight Power: 13 Health: 9/19 Gold: 232 Inventory: Captain's Sword (WP:5), Ringil a sword (hollow blade, Ice Elemental WP:3),Pongcanis Shield (SP:3) equipped, Lion Shield (SP:2), Bedroll, Potion (1), Fire bomb, Bone (2) Sir Leo Aragon (Played by JediAnakin) Level 13.5 Knight Power: 20 Health: 22/22 Gold: 298 Inventory: Burning Draken Sword (WP:7, Fire elemental), Paladin Shield (SP:5), Potion (2), Bedroll, Shovel, Mead, Bone Elgar Gligin (Played by Jedi master Brick) Level 10 Ranger Power: 14 Health: 15/15 Gold: 270 Inventory: Mockthril crossbow (WP:4 Lightning elemental), Smoke bomb, Bedroll, Remedy (2), Orc venom, Venom, Steel pointed Spear (WP:4), Necklace with Animal Teeth Tomas (Played by Captain Tamamoro) Level 15 Cleric Power: 21 Health: 24/24 Ether: 6/20 Gold: 361 Inventory:Shadeaux Staff (WP: 6), Gold Staff (WP: 4), Pongcanis Staff (WP: 5), 3 Remedies, 2 Bedrolls, 1 Tonics, Bone, Grand Tonic, Shovel, Mead, Venom, Smoke Bomb, Topaz Elemental Gem, Smelling Salts, Common Axe (WP:5), Healing Staff (WP:5, healing effect), Captain's Shield (SP:3) If the party members wish to trade object with each other, please do so before continuing on the path.
CorneliusMurdock Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 Okay, Elgar. The time has come for Elgar to tell who Elgar's friend is. Why so mysterious? Why not tell Elgar's friends? Then Cronk may give Elgar the goblet.
soccerkid6 Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 (edited) When we were in the village, a villager asked me to destroy the goblet. So the monster will stay dead, otherwise when you kill it, it will come back to life. At least that is what I was told. They offered a reward as well. So if you could destroy the goblet, they would be very grateful. Edited January 27, 2012 by soccerkid6
Jedi master Brick Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 (edited) "My friend is Ratabor the cleric. Sir Glorfindel and I met him on our first quest. I belive Cronk you may of met him to. He wants the goblet for healing things." Edited January 27, 2012 by Jedi master Brick

TheBoyWonder Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 I reckon both are true. Glorfindel for the villagers, Elgar for the cleric.
Etzel Posted January 27, 2012 Author Posted January 27, 2012 Which story is it? Cronk does remember pale cleric. Cronk then realize that he hasn't been able to keep an eye on all his party members during the whole time of the quest. Some might have talked to persons when Cronk and the other party members haven't looked or not been present. Secrets are abundant in the world of Heroica...
Jedi master Brick Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 "I am pretty sure a talk to the priest might clear things up. I think we should just head to the village so we can have a rest. I don't mind what we do now though "
CorneliusMurdock Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 What, when did friends Glorfindel and Gligan talk to people that want cup? Why did Cronk not notice this? Which village, Glorfindel, Jernel or Tanco?
Etzel Posted January 28, 2012 Author Posted January 28, 2012 Cronk didn't notice because the talk did not take place in public space (like this topic), but in secret (like PMs).
CorneliusMurdock Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 Cronk didn't notice because the talk did not take place in public space (like this topic), but in secret (like PMs). OOC: Cronk gets that. Cronk just wonders when it happened and wants some answers. What's this all about, Friends? Cronk not like secrets. Do friends not trust Cronk?
Jedi master Brick Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 "Ratabor talked to me in the market when we got split up."
soccerkid6 Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 (edited) The villager talked to me in Jernel, when we asked for directions. Unless the goblet destroyed, the werewolf will continue attacking the village, and if they kill it; will just come back to life again. Edited January 28, 2012 by soccerkid6
TheBoyWonder Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 I feel we should destroy the goblet. Healing or saving a village. Save the village. We are heroes, not mercinaries
CorneliusMurdock Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 As much as Cronk think healing people is worthy goal, Cronk think protecting Jernel would be prefereable. Cronk would like all friends to vote on what party should do with goblet.
