Jim Posted March 26, 2012 Posted March 26, 2012 somebody is already selling it marktplaats I am always wondering what they expect to be earning by selling a model like this. Quote
Meatman Posted March 26, 2012 Posted March 26, 2012 (edited) somebody is already selling it marktplaats It looks like they changed it up a bit thinking that it would look better by adding their own flair, but I think it doesn't look as good as the original. I did see pictures of this exact model on Brickshelf, but the builder must have taken them down. Edited March 26, 2012 by Meatman Quote

Also looks like he couldn't find the 19L black axles so he used flex tubing. That actually looks OK. Quote

It just doesn't look like it flows right. Quote

flyz Posted April 9, 2012 Posted April 9, 2012 Just finished building it today.... What an amazing and beautiful car. The usage of panels and angles are great. Here's a group shot of Paul's Lambos, 8070 and of course the Vampire GT. (I need more room to fit these cars lol) Quote
Splat Posted April 10, 2012 Posted April 10, 2012 Here's a group shot of Paul's Lambos, 8070 and of course the Vampire GT. @flyz - That's a nice collection of Technic cars you have there. Out of those, I think the Vampire GT looks the best Quote
DarkShadow73 Posted April 10, 2012 Posted April 10, 2012 Agreed, the Vampire GT is the best out of them, been following it for a while...love the black color and the use of the white seating and just about everything else about the car... @flyz - That's a nice collection of Technic cars you have there. Out of those, I think the Vampire GT looks the best Quote

Kronos Posted May 17, 2012 Author Posted May 17, 2012 Oh yeah, one more thing I forgot to mention. Support this on CUUSOO!!! Quote
Meatman Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 This is going to go for a lot of money. Especially since it is a charity event. Quote
TimH Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 Saw the Vampire GT in the flesh today at the Brick Magic show, Its pure awesome! Loved all the cars you had on display Paul. Quote
the-game Posted May 20, 2012 Posted May 20, 2012 It is so amazing realistic! The chromed wheels look very great! Quote
dhc6twinotter Posted May 21, 2012 Posted May 21, 2012 I had the pleasure of seeing this car at BrickMagic. I didn't think anything could get better than the SuperCar Deluxe, but the Vampire GT is fantastic! The attention to detail is amazing, and it's obvious that Paul spent a lot of time to perfect the design. Nicest looking Technic car I have ever seen. Quote
DLuders Posted May 23, 2012 Posted May 23, 2012 (edited) This is going to go for a lot of money. Especially since it is a charity event. Yes, indeed -- 18 bids (so far) and US $565.55 (~442.943 EUR) bid to make a dying child's dream come true! Only 3 days 8 hours left in the auction (May 26, 2012 14:39:30 Pacific Daylight Time). DLuders Posted May 25, 2012 Posted May 25, 2012 US $885.00 (~706.0486 Euros) in 29 bids so far, with 31 hours to go! Quote
Meatman Posted May 25, 2012 Posted May 25, 2012 What I find a little odd is that there has been all types of press release and articles about Paul's Vamp model this week as well as this Charity auction, but yet there has been seemingly no increase in Cuusoo supports. Quote
captainmib Posted May 25, 2012 Posted May 25, 2012 I think the step to register and support such a thing takes a little effort - if you're not a lego fan it might be to much... Anyway, lego should just review al serious entries on the cuusoo site. not just the ones that reach 10.000 supporters. Quote
